Adam was super responsive and a great communicator. After scheduling a quick visit, they sent me a quick written bid that was clear and straightforward and priced very well and fair. They only recommended replacing what was needed. They said my patio and garage roof was fine and they advised that I only replace the roof for the main 2,000 sq. Ft house which saved me money. I have a great friend nearby who is a general contractor and he came by to inspect the work first hand as well and confirmed they did great. Adam all the paperwork, city inspections and their fees, he was in touch every day with me to update me on progress and the job was done on time and as scheduled. They cleaned up well and it was problem free! They did some extra cleaning of skylights, touch up painting of gutters and even removed some wasp hives for free!

I have a very unusual roof (the whole roof is a flat, walkable roof deck) and Mel, the Nema rep, said they couldn't repair this type of roof because they wouldn't be able to warranty it. Despite that, he stayed and talked with me for about 20 minutes, offering ideas of other decking sealants that could be used, other companies I could contact, or even the possibility of DIY-ing it myself. I'm always SO grateful when companies actually listen to what I want and give me different options. Mel seemed honest and genuine and SO knowledgable about roofs, and I'd love to work with them in the future.

I'm not related to anyone at the company, nor did I know them prior to this project. However, several friends that are realtors and a very good friend who's a contractor regularly work with highly recommended them. After getting multiple estimates, I found that Hovey Roofing's quote was about half the price of the highest estimate (seriously) which was approximately 30K more. Their pricing is exceptional, and the quality of their work is impeccable. I consider myself a very particular homeowner who values cleanliness and organization, I couldn't be more satisfied. I give Hovey Roofing a triple diamond five-star rating and am truly grateful for the experience. They cleaned up after each day, were super polite and respectful, and the owner Glen checked in regularly. The best way I can describe the experience is old school attention to detail and craftsmanship combined with modern day efficiency.

They have been organized, on time, on schedule, and professional throughout. Throughout the process, the owner (Abraham) has been on site reviewing the work, and they have been in contact with the city on our behalf regarding permits and all the red tape. I can't say enough how impressive this company has been, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for roof replacement and/or repairs. Hire them and you will have a ton of peace of mind.

Since I had no way to contact him directly, I waited for a callback as instructed, but no one ever followed up. I tried again in May to schedule the repairs and was given the same response. Now no one is answering the phone at all. Very unprofessional experience. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Real estate transactions must be handled in a timely manner, and, during the holidays, everything grinds to a halt. It was Howard and Sons who saved the day! There was an odd, discontinued roof on the home that baffled even the home inspector, and Darryl identified it immediately. Even better, he delivered a roofing inspection, three estimates for different roofs, and aerial shots of the property to show us exactly what we were dealing with, in two days! Darryl provided us with excellent information, prompt, friendly service, and was just really enjoyable to work with. 100% will call Howard and Sons the next time I need a roofer.

I initially contacted a competing roofing company to assess a leak in the air vent in my ceiling…read more It drips water every heavy rain. A young man came out with a drone and flew it over my house. I was initially impressed at the process, and the identified issues with my roof. I thought he'd climb up there to check it out, but he seemed to have it all worked out. He said I'd get a quote emailed to me, but after waiting a couple weeks, it never came. This brought me to Alpha Roofing. I scheduled an estimate, where I met Mario. The disrespect I felt with him flaunting his dodger hat to a deeply rooted Yankee home!!! yes, I proudly wore my Yankee hat as he and I bantered back-and-forth. We instantly hit it off. Mario is a personable and friendly guy, I felt comfortable with him. He came into my home to see the source of the leak and asked for access to my attic. He grabbed a ladder and climbed onto my roof first. I questioned him not having a drone and he told me he did, but for initial estimates, he needed to walk my roof to see what was going on. Once on my roof, he quickly identified everything the other roofing company mentioned and so much more. He found the source of my leak. The drone was great, but would never have caught the tiny holes left in my roof from removing solar pool panels. That gave me an Oh *hit moment! I quickly got an estimate and asked how soon the repairs could be done, as rain was approaching. Unfortunately, he told me it would take a couple of weeks. I braced for that. Next, there's Elsie. I was out with my granddaughters one day and kept getting a phone call from a number I didn't recognize. I get so many spam calls, I never answer my phone if I don't recognize the number, but Elsie was persistent. She probably called my phone five times. I finally answered and she apologized profusely for blowing up my phone, but was able to schedule me the next day for repairs. I was over the moon! I thanked her so much for her persistence!!!!! Finally, there's Jacob, Jonathan, and Gesar. What an amazing group of young men! They showed up bright and early, and ready to work. They were equally friendly and personable. Fun facts...Jacob is Mario's son. He too showed up in a dodger hat, which I had to express my dissatisfaction and told him it would reflect in his review, lol. Johnathan is a US Marine veteran, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!!! And Gesar "G", is the silent assassin. He didn't talk, but he was hard-working. Their work was quick, efficient, neat, and done right. Once finished, I was shown pictures of all of the problem areas, and progress photos showing their work up to completion, with in-depth explanations. Everything was done just in time for the big storm, and guess what? No more leak! Oh, and by the way... Mario's quote was less than half of the first roofing company who missed the source of the leak. My neighbor had a major issue with their roof during this last storm, and I was happy to refer Mario to them. He showed up promptly and put a tarp on their roof, pending clear weather to do repairs. He is truly an honest and hard working guy. What a lifesaver!

We had a very pleasant and stress-free experience with JB Roofing Solutions!…read more Replacing a roof is such a big and intimidating project, and we knew it was something that needed to be done sooner rather than later. We were already experiencing leaks, and our shingles were showing signs of aging. Aside from the cost, our biggest concern was our solar panels. We worried that removing and reinstalling them might cause damage or reduce their energy production. We had seen JB Roofing Solutions working on several homes in our neighborhood, so my husband approached one of their crews and met Johnny. He came to our house, inspected our roof, and provided us with a very reasonable quote. Johnny was incredibly patient throughout the entire process. We probably reviewed the contract two or three times, and he took the time to explain every detail, answer all of our questions, and make sure we were completely comfortable before signing. At no point did we ever feel pressured to make a decision. I also had a hard time choosing the right shingle color because I didn't want to regret my choice for the next 30 years! Once again, Johnny was so patient. He dropped off shingle samples multiple times so I could compare them at different times of the day. He was always easy to talk to--friendly, calm, honest, and reassuring. The entire JB Roofing team was professional, punctual, courteous, and incredibly hardworking. I rarely saw anyone taking breaks despite the summer heat. At the end of each day, they thoroughly cleaned up the job site, especially making sure to pick up nails and other debris, and even remembered to lock our side gate before leaving. We couldn't be happier with how our new roof turned out. Most importantly, what initially felt like a stressful and nerve-wracking home improvement project became a smooth and worry-free experience because of their team. Thank you, Johnny, and everyone at JB Roofing Solutions! We absolutely love our new roof, and we're happy to report that our solar panels are working perfectly after being removed and reinstalled. We highly recommend JB Roofing Solutions to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional roofing company.
