Then I go see my buddy Hanley at Silver Star Motors in Swampscott and he takes my car in and will either put it on a lift or pull out a flash light and show me exactly what's wrong, give me an estimate, and take care of it for a fraction of what these other places are charging. I have a 2006 Audi A6 that I bought with 80,000 miles and have run it up to 250,000 miles with Hanley doing all the maintenance. At best, CarFive is incompetent for not knowing this information; at worst, they are negligent and will buy any vehicle they can to sell to the unsuspecting buyer. They never mentioned any issues with this vehicle to me. I was told it was a great vehicle and had no issues or no recalls. Come to find out there were multiple recalls, none of which had been handled prior to putting it up for resale. Upon learning all this, I requested a refund of my money. They would hear none of it. They say "sorry" over and over, but it's completely empty. No one takes responsibility. No one fixes the issue. No one makes it right.
