BMW X5. Stay away from this place. Car nothing but problems after problems. I'd never purchase a car from these guys again.

Hanley is the best! Does great work and offers the fairest prices. I've had all my work done…read morethrough Hanley, anytime I've tried going somewhere else in a pinch or for convenience (Meineke, Sullivan tires, etc) they always make it seem like my car is falling apart everything's wrong and it's going to cost an arm and a leg to fix. Then I go see my buddy Hanley at Silver Star Motors in Swampscott and he takes my car in and will either put it on a lift or pull out a flash light and show me exactly what's wrong, give me an estimate, and take care of it for a fraction of what these other places are charging. I have a 2006 Audi A6 that I bought with 80,000 miles and have run it up to 250,000 miles with Hanley doing all the maintenance. Hanley is an Audi certified technician and knows how to fix them like the back of his hand.

I bought a BWM 335xi from Alex, and the buying process was nice and easy. Like someone else mentioned, the negotiation part was pretty much useless (I ended up paying the full price anyway) but I still got a good deal. Moreover, they made my new beemer just the way I wanted. Windows were tinted and links and bushing were replaced (to get rid of the noise) at no charge. I picked up the car three days after (because they said I can't drive freshly tinted car) fully registered and already with inspection sticker... again, at no charge to me! It's been more than six month and so far I love my BMW! Bottom line, ignore those old reviews and give them a chance, I'm sure you are going to like them just like me.

The vehicle they sold me broke down within 2 hours of leaving the dealership. After the vehicle had to be towed to the Kia dealership (more driving could have caused ENGINE FAILURE) I found out the vehicle has a Theta II engine - KNOWN (through multiple class action lawsuits) to have long-standing engine issues stemming from poor manufacturing and can be prone to breaking down, car fires and more. At best, CarFive is incompetent for not knowing this information; at worst, they are negligent and will buy any vehicle they can to sell to the unsuspecting buyer. They never mentioned any issues with this vehicle to me. I was told it was a great vehicle and had no issues or no recalls. Come to find out there were multiple recalls, none of which had been handled prior to putting it up for resale. Upon learning all this, I requested a refund of my money. They would hear none of it. They do not stand behind the products they are peddling.

Paid full price, followed every instruction, confirmed details multiple times, and still somehow ended up getting completely screwed over. The level of disorganization, dishonesty, and lack of accountability here is unbelievable. They scheduled me for an appointment (which I later found out was apparently through some third party they don't even properly coordinate with). Based on THEIR confirmation, I took a full day off work and drove from TWO STATES AWAY. Let that sink in. Time, money, energy--completely wasted. Before making the trip, I confirmed multiple times that everything--including the windshield--would be ready and taken care of. I was reassured again and again. Then I show up... and suddenly there is no windshield. No solution. No preparation. Just excuses. And it gets worse. Instead of owning the mistake, they brushed it off as a "training moment." For who exactly? Because it sure cost me. Then they tell me I have to come back ANOTHER day and now PAY for something I was explicitly told would be covered. Their excuse? The service manager "wasn't there when the salesperson said it." So apparently their internal miscommunication just becomes the customer's financial burden. They say "sorry" over and over, but it's completely empty. No one takes responsibility. No one fixes the issue. No one makes it right. It's just a loop of apologies while they quietly shift the consequences onto you. This place runs on bait-and-switch tactics--get the deal done, get the car out the door, and then suddenly none of the promises matter anymore. If something goes wrong, it's your problem, not theirs. Now I'm left with a brand new car that has unresolved issues, wasted time, extra expenses, and zero trust in the people who sold it to me. I would NEVER, ever, ever go through this dealership again. If you value your time, your money, and basic honesty--stay far away. Watch out.
