I went to lunch with a friend here and it was terrible. The service was spotty even though the place wasn't crowded but that wasn't the main problem. I ordered fish and chips and the fish was so overfried (There seemed to be no coating so I don't even know if it was really fried or not. It was so overdone that I have no idea.) that it was dry enough to mimic the texture of chicken. The bill for 2 for lunch came to $50! I guess my friend's lunch was "okay" but I ended up spending that for a subpar lunch. At least my dogs got some of the fish for dinner. For that price, I wasn't going to waste it! (For those concerned, the dogs only got the interior fish meat, not the "crust". I wouldn't give my dogs fried food... but then again, I don't even know if it was really fried.) Ugh!

Orange creamsicle waffle, corned beef hash, toast, custom omelette, coffee

Pros: Friendly & accommodating service, cheerful & relaxing ambiance, tasty food overall, unique menu (big plus for me) & wide variety of breakfast/lunch options Cons: Waffle was kind of burnt/dry/hard (still flavorful despite that) & the topping on it was like a lump of cold hard frosting... corned beef hash was a little on the bland side and some things like a regular cup of coffee were relatively expensive. $46+ for food in attached photo

We went for a home in the local area and worked up an appetite. We used to go here pre Covid and honestly no complaints ever. We saw the Yelp reviews and decided to go anyhow...based on past experience. We entered the restaurant and were not greeted...we took a seat in a booth. Our drink order was taken fairly quickly. Coffee and a soda...the soda was canned and cost $4.25! A refill would cost a total of $8.50. Order a water! I got a coffee...was good. Refill offered 35-40 minutes later after food was delivered. I finished coffee after 5 minutes and had cup at the end of the table. It was not busy...but waitresses kept saying they were slammed as they stood around and chatted. Food arrived cold, and not good. I ordered the 4 Corner Breakfast....2 eggs, bacon (think it was cooked last week hard and crunchy), potatoes (cold), toast (dry some butter)...with coffee almost $20! I'd rather get breakfast at a school lunch line. My wife moved the cold food she had around on her plate...didn't eat. Does this place have new owners?

Leftover Farmer's Benedict with the gravy on the side = LUNCH!

I enjoy coming here. It's got a regular following of locals and for good reason. It's somewhere I can consistently get breakfast that is as good as or better than I make for myself at home. I enjoy swapping ideas with the chef and trying something new from the menu. The owner keeps my coffee cup full and the staff is well trained to anticipate the needs of the customers. I'm becoming a bit of a breakfast regular but I've been for lunch a few times. The prices might look a tick higher than other places but you get what you pay for. The portions and quality are well worth the price. Standard fare is priced about what other places charge, specialty stuff is more but well worth it! There's a Farmer's Benedict that is poached eggs atop sausage gravy on a house made biscuit and a side of ham. I got 2 meals out if it!

This is a hidden gem slightly off the beaten path near the Four Corners in Delmar. The service is very nice and friendly. The food is excellent. I ordered the two eggs with home fries and raisin toast. Everything was excellent. The eggs were fluffy and flavorful. The toast was nicely buttered and homemade. The home fries were nice chunks of potato. They were crispy but not oily. I highly recommend this establishment. It is one of the better breakfast places I have been to in the area. The service is friendly and the food is excellent.

Feels like being at a quaint diner on Cape Cod. Great home made scones and soups. Friendly and attentive service.

We made reservations but did not need them (it was a Wednesday) as the restaurant was only partially full. This place has a very warm and friendly decor. Fancy without being pretentious. As a Jazz fan I appreciated the playlist throughout the night. Our server Dennis came over and took our drink orders. I had the Manhatten which was really good - walnut liqueur, bourbon, orange peel and a cherry. My date had the martini which I tasted and was also pretty good. For appetizers we were going to get the fingerling potatoes w/ chickpeas but our server recommended the Korean lettuce wraps (we got them w/ mushrooms). These were pretty good but kind of messy for my liking - you put them together on your own and are provided with romaine lettuce, kimchi, pickled veggies, mushrooms/beef and a "spicy" sauce which I found lacking in much heat (I am a bit of a heat seeker). We also got the "warmed" spiced olives which were definitely a hit for me but not so much my girlfriend. For mains I had the "smoked" brisket en biere w/ cauliflower and gravy. The meat was super tender, well seasoned but I really don't think it was smoked - the texture was that of braised beef, not bbq. That being said, it was quite good along with the riced and roasted cauliflower. My girlfriend had the pasta dish w/ mushrooms. I tried a bite and thought it was OK - she thought it was a bit pricey ($29) for what it was, I agreed. We're not big desert people but Dennis mentioned the tiramisu and we're big fans so we ordered it and it might've been the best bite of the night, really enjoyed it especially the crumbled pistachios. Overall it was a really nice meal, service was attentive and quick and the food was overall pretty tasty. We will definitely be heading back.

It wasn't busy so we were able to go right in and be seated. The server gave us a warm greeting as we entered and asked if we had been there before. She explained the online ordering or that we could walk up to the counter and place our order. The brewed drip coffee is bottomless and self service. They offer lattes and and espresso drinks as well. We placed our order and the server delivered it to our table. We tried "The Vegan" which is a buckwheat batter crepe stuffed with seitan, vegan pesto, vegan cheese, spinach, roasted squash, and caramelized onions. We shared an order of crispy and perfectly seasoned homefries. I ordered a sweet crepe from the special menu which was a buckwheat crepe filled with a blueberry compote, semisweet chocolate morsels, and toasted coconut with candied pecans. It was so rich but so good. We loved the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the numerous plant-based options and ability to convert several menu items into vegan dishes. We will definitely be back and since we have told so many friends about our experience, will will not be coming back alone!
