Mini stack pancakes

We recently had a group lunch order for pickup, and it was my first time trying Jimmy's. I was overall pleased with my lunch which was their Very Veggie Omelette with a mini stack pancakes and grits. What would have made this a 5-star experience is a bigger, fluffier omelette, and the spinach and mushroom omelette from IHOP comes to mind as an example of a good veggie omelette. The cutlery and condiments, including syrup and ketchup, were appreciated although I am mindful of the impact of disposable plastic ware on our environment. I hope they continue to improve and do well.

Not sure why this place doesn't have five stars from everyone. Just visiting from Florida and stubbled upon this place. So clean inside. Definitely a good sign. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. Another good sign. We ordered the eggs benedict. I got the hash browns. Asked for well done and they came out perfectly. Eggs were so delicious again cooked perfectly. The sauce is so yummy. I actually brought one to my mom who's in rehab. She loved it too. Definitely give it a try. Take a look at the picture. Never wanted for anything and my coffee remained full. I wish they had one of these in Florida. Haha.

Place to go for breakfast on the 4th of July. Always the service is great, the food is hot and exactly what I want. I even celebrated with a mimosa! Happy 4th all. Thank you for working on a holiday.

55 and over breakfast

No frills breakfast joint. The service was great - our waitress was very nice. We had the eggs Benedict, which had good flavor. The hash browns were decent, though one serving wasn't the hottest. They have a loyalty program which gives you a short stack for signing up. For those interested (and eligible) they also have an over 55 menu - which my mom loved. We'd come back for a quick, affordable breakfast.

Service at this establishment was so amazing and welcoming. Our waitress was so quick attending to us and super friendly. We received our drink in about 5 minutes, I ordered a caramel ice coffee and husband an orange juice. Then on to the food I ordered berry waffle, eggs and it was so good and flavorful. The price was very cheap for two people it was $37.38. I definitely want to go back again.

I find it interesting that the majority of Yelpers who give poor ratings about how horrible the food is provide no photos. Show us how bad it is if you're going to say it's bad. For us, the service and food were both quite good. This was our first visit to Jimmy's Egg and we were impressed with the menu and all they offer. One nice thing about their breakfast dishes is that you can choose your side - they don't automatically give you bread and potatoes. What a nice change! We did start with a cappuccino which was more of a latte - it seems our server didn't quite know the difference or how to make one. For our meals, we chose the Classic Benedict and the Biscuit & Gravy Omelette. The eggs in the benny were perfect. In fact, I heard someone in the kitchen say, 'keep your eye on the benny' and the response was that there were 20 seconds left. Seems they have a plan in place for making poached eggs. While another Yelper here said they disliked the hollandaise sauce, we found it to be good and tasted as it should. The B&G omelette was good but I have to admit, I probably wouldn't order it again. I choose it because, for the price, it offered an omelette with ham, sausage, bacon, and cheese and included a B&G along with two sides. The B&G is served on top of/or in the omelette which I found odd. Next time I'll opt for the Biscuits Gone Wild which offers the same as the omelette for $1 cheaper and just one side. The bacon is described as slow-smoked. It definitely is smoked. I guess I haven't had smoked bacon before...not my favorite for a morning meal. It seems the restaurant chain has a few locations in the South which helps explain why they offer sausage gravy dishes and cheesy grits - both are two of our favorites. The restaurant was clean. It was not loud (as another Yelper complained about) and our server was quite pleasant.

Fatty’s Uptown - Buffalo Chicken pizza

This place came up with great reviews, albeit only a couple so far, and we decided to check it out. We drove to the location, which had limited street parking, but we were able to find a spot using my parallel parking skills, then we headed inside. It was a small place, with 2 tables that each sat 4. The TV was on, and we chatted with the guy on the counter who shared a menu with us. In the end we settled for a traditional cheese and pepperoni pizza. No one was using the tables, and we decided to eat in rather than head back to our hotel. We chatted and waited for our pizza, which was done quick and was delicious! Everything you could want from a thin new york style pizza. Good amount of cheese, charred pepperoni, not overcooked or burnt, the crust was soft and delicious. The service was awesome. Every worker we spoke to was nice and personable, without being annoying, over the top or in the way. We were offered silverware and plates, and enjoyed our pizza, before needing a box despite it being so good. I would definitely consider heading back here the next time i'm in Albany, great food AND great service at a reasonable price, what more could you want?

For context, I rate products and businesses on a simple scale: 5 stars means I love it, 4 stars…read moremeans I like it, 3 stars is okay, 2 stars means I didn't like it, and 1 star means I hated it or think it's unsafe. This was my first time at Beer Bones Bar and Grill. We went as a group of six and made a 6pm reservation, which turned out to be a good call because the place filled up quickly. It's on the smaller side and definitely gets busy. One thing to note, there is a 3% upcharge if you pay by credit card. It's posted on the door, but easy to miss if you're not looking for it. We started with pretzels and mozzarella sticks, both were very good. From there, it's clear wings are a big focus here. They have a ton of sauce options. We ordered a wing platter and tried Stebo, garlic parm, moonshine, and bourbon BBQ. The Stebo was the clear favorite for everyone, with the bourbon BBQ as my personal second. I'd definitely be interested in trying their honey BBQ next time. The wings themselves were excellent, large, meaty, crispy, and very flavorful. I'm somewhat of a wing aficionado, and these absolutely delivered. One thing that really stood out was the generous portion of celery, carrots, and blue cheese. Most places treat that as an afterthought, but not here. Everything was fresh and plentiful, which was a nice change. Bravo on that. For entrees, we were told they were out of string fries and corned beef, but pastrami was available as a substitute for Reubens. Not a big deal for our group. I ordered a cheeseburger, no tomato or onion, add lettuce, with steak fries, and asked for it well done. Others at the table ordered a Feener burger, another cheeseburger, mac and cheese, tater tots, a slider, and a Nashville hot chicken wrap. The one issue was that our waiter didn't write anything down, which made us all a little skeptical. Unfortunately, that concern turned out to be valid. One burger came out without cheese, and they were out of American, so it had to be switched to cheddar. My order came out with tomato and onion, no lettuce, and waffle fries instead of steak fries. To their credit, everything was corrected quickly. The runner brought out lettuce right away and swapped the fries, mentioning steak fries take a little longer, but they came out pretty fast. My burger itself was what I'd call medium rare rather than well done, but I was hungry and didn't send it back. Despite the mix-ups, the food across the board was very good, and the portions were large. I was full and couldn't even finish my fries, which almost never happens. Service overall was a mixed bag. The waiter was friendly and acknowledged the mistakes upfront, which I appreciated. Other staff checked in on us, refilled drinks, and made sure we had napkins and wet wipes for the wings. Once the errors were announced , they were handled quickly and without any issue. I really think if the order had been written down, this could have easily been a 5 star visit. I'll definitely be back, the wings alone are worth it, and the staff did a good job recovering from the mistakes. Next time, if we're a larger group again, I might suggest writing the order down just to avoid the same issues.

To explain, I ordered a double cheeseburger with cheese fries and it was delicious. To breakdown, the cheeseburger was excellent. The meat was juicy and tender with top tier flavor. Likewise, the sauce on the burger was sweet and tangy which elevated the flavor. Similarly, the potato bun was fresh and tasty, but the bottom of it was a bit soggy. It was simply a great burger. In similar fashion, the cheese fries were pretty good. To make clear, the fries were hot, crispy, and flavorful. Furthermore, the cheese was great and really made these fries special. In summary, 605 Smash is a great place to grab some burgers and fries.

I'm gluten-free, so I choose not to have the potato bun, which is a bummer because it looked amazing. My only gripe is the upcharge for a gluten-free bun. I completely understand paying a bit more for specialty products, but a $3 add-on felt a little steep. It actually kept me from ordering my own burger this time, so I just snagged a bite of my partner's (which was excellent). **I have had the gluten free option before and it was good, but udi's isn't my favorite (doesn't have very clean ingredients). Great tasting burger overall, but I just wish the gluten-free option felt a little more reasonable (or perhaps had a higher quality GF option for the higher price tag).
