She had such a warm and welcoming personality and was incredibly patient with me while I asked a million questions. I ended up ordering the guava matcha based on her recommendation and I have to say it did NOT disappoint! It was honestly one of the best matchas I've ever had, so refreshing especially on such a hot summer day. Since the place was pretty full I ended up sitting in the bar area and that turned out to be another great experience. Another employee, Genesis made me feel right at home. She was so friendly and genuinely took the time to make conversation with me. She checked in to see how everything was asked if I was enjoying my food, and just made me feel welcomed and comfortable. It honestly felt like I was out having food and drinks with my girlfriends rather than sitting somewhere by myself. Moral of the story I have already recommended this place to all my friends and family in the IE, especially because I just found out that it's a newer spot. And best believe the next time I come back from Georgia this will be my FIRST stop again! I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more things from the menu. Huge shoutout to Anisa and Genesis for making my visit such a memorable one! also pastries were to DIE FOR OMG

The line literally goes around the shop but it does move quickly. I ordered their summer drink menu - guava oat milk matcha and it was delicious! The team was super sweet and business owner such a beauty. We need to return and try their food items!

When the drink was done the employee called out 2 names at the pick up window then went back to sit down at the window. When another customer asked which one was which we had to figure it out ourselves because the employee didn't let us know whose was whoms. There was a drink at the pick up window for someone who's been sitting in front of the store the whole time. When the other customer came back to complain about the drink they were waiting at the counter for at least 5 minutes until they went up to the employee working at the side table. The worker disregarded their complaint offered a refund and that was it. Worst customer service I experienced and I love Take Ur Seat in Chino Hills and Take Ur Seat Too in Ontario. My wife had the iced coffee with the maple brown sugar, it was more on the strong bitter side. Extra of the syrup flavoring may help with that. I had the Chicken pesto Panini. It lacked flavor and didn't really feel fresh. The quality of the bread seemed old but not moldy old. Still ate it though. . I WAS pretty hungry. Overall, If I'm starving I could settle here but not my first choice. The quality of the food didn't really WOW me. My wife's had good experiences in the past so it may have been an off day for them. The back of house was just not making the food with that LOVE today. Lol

Decided to kill some time and ended up ordering a breakfast burrito and the chicken fried steak with eggs. The portions were huge and definitely hit the spot. The chicken fried steak was crispy, covered in gravy, and came out sizzling hot. The breakfast burrito was packed with eggs, potatoes, meat, and cheese--more than enough food to keep me full through the rest of the day. The salsa had a nice kick, the hash browns were crispy, and the service was quick even though the place was busy. If you're stuck waiting around for jury duty, work, or just hungry as hell, this is a solid place to stop. Left full, happy, and with a lot less time to kill before heading back to court.

Once inside it gives diner vibes. There's a larger counter dining area and booths around the establishment. I love that you can see them cooking your food. The service was great. The ladies working were friendly and knew the menu. I loved that they were shy and actually engaged with their customers. I ordered the country breakfast. It's their home style potatoes with country gravy, diced ham, and scrambled eggs (I requested over medium instead), and toast. The potatoes were a little under cooked and under seasoned for me but they were still good. The gravy did give a strong country gravy (peppered sausage) flavor. Overall, it was still ok. I opted for sourdough toast which was toasted nicely but I don't know if what butter they used because it was very salty, even with jelly on it. I definitely want to go back and try other items on the menu.

Removing one star because the ambience was quite miserable. We decided to eat indoors and found that next time it's best to just pick it up to go. The machine that beeps when I guess orders are coming in, and the fan that goes off every time somebody opens the door all added to a rather uncomfortable dining experience. I decided to give them some time to get their act together before I returned for a review and today was the day we tried their offerings. I had a breakfast sandwich and my partner in crime had a breakfast burrito. Even though it was after 3:30 p.m. neither of us cared and our 'breakfast' so good. We shared a chai latte which delivered creaminess and flavor. The seating was comfortable, the music playlist was pleasant, and the lighting was comforting. Why anyone would go to Starbucks these days is beyond me. My only complaint is perhaps they need more food offerings. I asked for a spicy sauce to replaced by mayo and they said they had no may. (A kitchen without mayo?!?) My partner in crime is delighted by the many vegetarian offerings, but maybe a little more in the meat side of things? RoadRunner Coffee is just so next level for State Street and Redlands in general. I'm delighted that a business like this will be knocking State Street out of its lethargic nostalgia and into modern-day wonderfulness. It pairs well with our new Page78 bookstore.
