I just bought four new tires here. It was a very simple and painless process. I started out with their website. From there I selected the tires I wanted and then I could have booked the appointment on-line but I preferred to phone for the booking. I arrived a little early but they said that it will be done in an hour. Instead of sitting in their waiting area I went over to the nearby Bogani's café for a relaxing coffee and bagel. After 45 minutes or so I returned to Fountain Tire and could see my SUV was finished and in the parking lot. The adviser provided me with a detailed explanation of how to claim the rebate from Goodyear. He said he had already emailed me the invoice because the Goodyear site will request it. That saved me the trouble of scanning it. Getting new tires has never been simpler. They even set up the remote tire pressure sensors properly. To be fair I didn't do a lot of price comparison and no doubt there's always someplace a bit cheaper. However I have a fairly new vehicle and I wasn't looking for the cheapest place, I wanted the best place. A couple of years ago I bought new tires from their main competitor. It didn't go nearly as smoothly as this. I have no problem giving Fountain Tire five stars for tire replacement. I can't comment on other mechanical work though as I didn't have anything else done. This review is only for the 111 Street location but I had a noteworthy experience at a different Fountain Tire that I'll briefly describe as well. A number of years ago I drove an older vehicle to the Fountain Tire in Edson, Alberta because it was severely overheating. That was just before they closed at 6:00pm on a Friday afternoon. That particular Fountain Tire location went out of its way to locate the parts needed to fix the problem and did so after their normal closing time on that Friday. Because of them my family and I were able to continue on our way to the mountains rather than being stuck in Edson for the weekend, or at least the night. I guess after that you could say that I anticipate the best from this company and they've not yet disappointed me. read more

Went to fountain tire for a non-tire related repair.(broken door handle on an older vehicle). They sourced the part ahead of time and completed the repair at a reasonable price. Always get great service here - they seem always available to top up air when the tire light is on. Much appreciated read more

Very Disappointing. I booked an appointment to change my tires over to my winter tires and I showed up 6 minutes late. They gave my appointment away because I was not exactly on time. My wife was going to buy 4 new winter tires from them but not now. Pretty poor customer service if you ask me read more

Covid emergency! I was driving home to Barrhead Alberta from Airdrie after going to meet my beautiful amazing first great granddaughter! About Leduc I knew I would not make it to Barrhead without stopping to pee so I got off QE2 at the airport and tried Costco but the line up was around the store. Everything was closed, casino, mall. So I got back on the highway and kept going. I knew I was not going to make it. I got off at Ellerslie and went to 111 thinking there would be something open. I stopped at a Sobeys store and they told me I could not use theirs. I kept going, desperate now. The gas station only had a little window slot for paying. They would not let me in. All restaurants were closed or drive through. Suddenly I saw Fountain Tire! Open! Not gonna lie, I had already peed a little in my panties! I ran in. The angel behind the counter read my body language correctly and pointed to his open, spotless and available facilities. Just made it! I have no words to express my gratitude! Omg you saved my day. Excellent service. Had a tire issue and they told me to come on down and they'd take a look. I observed them giving excellent service to other customers and that's exactly what I got. They took time to help me out even though I made no purchase at the time. I will be back. read more

I attended this location for a quick oil change and to change-over my tires (Winter to Spring). When the service was done and i went to pick up my vehicle, I was provided with an estimate of other problems that were found during their inspection. I left without having the additional work done and did not book a follow-up appointment. INSTEAD, I took my vehicle into another auto service place and had a certified mechanic look my vehicle over -- the technician advised me that there was NOTHING WRONG with my vehicle and that NO extra work needed to me done. I was shocked to learn this --- Fountain Tire's quote of $800 was, a lie. I would not recommend this place. To other consumers, shop around!! read more

I have taken my vehicles into this Fountain Tire for many years and have always had really good service. On one of my vehicles I had had some prior work done in the US. They pointed out that work was not done right and I needed these parts replaced. They were kind enough to tell me who to contact and who could do this work under warranty. They had my safety and satisfaction in mind, and I am grateful to them. read more

After shopping around for winter tires at other places, I stopped into this location of Fountain Tire to check prices. The sales guy gave me quotes for three different tires of good, better and best options. He was very up front and honest with the differences between the tires and how quickly they could be ordered, if I wanted them. I ended up ordering a set that day (Friday) and scheduling an install appointment for the following Monday (a holiday). While I had to show up at 7:30am on the Monday to drop off my car (I'm not a morning person) the shop was ready with 2 guys to check everyone in. I was told it could be all day before I could get my car back, but they called around lunchtime to say it was ready! The tires have been great every since and I feel much safer with them on my car. I also went back to get a free 100 km re-torque as offered and was served almost immediately! I would highly recommend! read more

Do not get your tires here! They charge a premium price for tires so one would expect superb service. Instead, they have provided the worst service I have ever experienced at a tire shop. Both of the new tires they installed on my vehicle leaked within three months (one of them was leaking from the start). Each time I attempted to get a tire repaired, they wanted to schedule an appointment a few days later. I have never been to a tire shop that refuses to repair their new tires the day the repair is needed. I don't mind paying more for a product if the service makes up for the price. Unfortunately, this place will charge you a premium price and provide poor service. Not worth your time or money! read more
