The folks at the front are so good about listening to the whatcha-ma-callit that is wrong with my car and figuring out what I mean and then giving me a fair estimate while explaining what is really wrong! And, don't be fooled by the name they fix more than just tires. They will help you with the oil changes, transmission and anything else you vehicle need. Plus they have a service bay that can deal with small RV's. That's a real bonus. They helped me fix the tire on my RV too! With summer coming, I want to caution others about my experience with Trail Tire on Whyte Ave. The repair work on my van was of poor quality and left my vehicle unsafe and unusable, creating a very difficult situation since last year. On July 2 2025, I had my van towed to Ernie's Blackpoint Repair after the starter failed, even though it had recently been replaced by Trail Tire. During the original starter replacement, Trail Tire technicians identified an issue with a bolt joint and told me they would need to weld it to complete the extraction and repair. I agreed, trusting the work would be completed safely and professionally. After inspecting the van, Clint at Ernie's Blackpoint Repair determined that the repair appeared improper and unsafe. According to the inspection, the bolt had been sheared off at an angle and recessed deep into the structure, making extraction extremely difficult. The weld had also been performed without removing the rubber isolator mount, resulting in a repair that was considered structurally unsound. Part of the inspection summary states: "Upon further inspection, the bolt enters the body structure and is sheared off at a significant angle. Extraction may not be possible due to difficulty in finding the center. Recessed significantly. Unable to determine if cross-threaded. The welding attempt was not appropriate due to the removal of the proper rubber isolator mount. Not structurally sound. Proper repair likely requires taking the van to a body shop to replace the lower radiator support tie bar with a recycled and properly welded component. Also missing one of three bolts at the rear support attachment point." read more

I went in on the day before Canada Day. It was the only tire shop open in the area. I found the service quite good. They had my tires installed within about four hours. They actually had a courtesy car. They let me use their courtesy car while my car was being fixed something that doesn't happen every day. read more

Been taking all our family cars to Tire Warehouse to get the winter/summer tires put on them for a few years now. Their prices for tires are about average, although they occasionally have a good sale. They do carry many lesser-known European brands though, which are hard to find elsewhere in Edmonton. And if you're in the market for new wheel alloys, they seem to have a great selection. If you buy winter tires from them, they give you a very substantial lifetime discount on the price of swapping the winters on / off (whether you have them on separate rims or not). They are also a full-service garage. Although I was hesitant to get work done by them at first, being a "tire" place, I ended up having them flush one of my car's transmissions. I knew it had to be done, and they did it for quite a bit less then my normal mechanic / the dealerships were quoting. I have subsequently had a few other small things done to my cars, and they have always done quality work for a good price. I will agree with the last review, that the customer service of the front desk staff when dropping off / picking up your car can be a bit... harsh. They are obviously very busy and could likely use another person (with a bit more customer service finesse). This may be off-putting to some, especially if you're not that familiar with cars and want some more hands-on help / service. That said, I am also personally suspicious of mechanics who are overly chatty and salesy. I don't come to the Tire Warehouse looking for some new friends, I come to have quality work done at a reasonable price. read more

What can I say about this place other than it is awesome and I wish they had one in Quebec or Ontario! This is the tire shop to go for, if you want wheels, tires, lug nuts, nitrogen for your tires instead of air, you name it. I came here from a co-worker recommendation and I would say it was probably one of the best shops I have ever visited for tires since I started driving cars. They were so good I got their gold membership card, which allowed me free nitrogen refills for my tires, free tire repairs, free tire rotations and free summer and winter tire changes (as long as they are already on rims). I purchased a full set of Wheels and Tires here for my GSX and got a great deal from them, from one of their customer service reps. He gave me a great deal on them and also sold the set with some Gorilla Lug nuts to boot. They walked me through what wheel size and offset would work best, along with proper tire size combinations. I would be a life time customer if they had businesses in Quebec or Ontario, but unfortunately they don't. Hopefully sometime in the future they open up more franchises! read more

I called 2 other shops for tires and rim for my Porsche911 and never even got a call back. The guys at Trail called me back and emailed me couple of options with in 24hours. The price was fair, BUT when they went to take off the old rims the spine key was busted. I was called and told that i would have buy new nuts, when i picked up the car the gave the new nuts at their cost. so in the end i was happy with the rims and the customer experience i had. I recently switched my summer tire to winter tire from this (South side)Trail Tire center. These tires were bought last year from this warehouse. I was waiting at the customer lounge to have my tires switched. Upon completion of the service they charged me $240 plus GST because my TPM sensor (tire pressure monitor) do not matched my car. They never ask my permission if I am willing to spend these money to replace them. May be they just rip me off and never had a new sensors installed. This is very un-professional. I can guarantee you that I won't buy a new tires from here in the future. read more

I got my tires changed from summer to winter late in 2014 and liked the store and staff. I paid $ 35 per tire. I went back in June 2015 to change the tires back to summer ones but was told by a desk agent that prices had been jacked up from $35 per tire to a whopping $50 per tire for the change over. I told the agent NO THANK YOU. That is too big of an increase. I was going to get other service work done but I said NO WAY. I went to Sherwood Park where I now live and found Integra Tire off Wye Road which only charges $35 a tire. No more Tire Warehouse for me. In my opinion, they are getting a little too greedy and are taking their customers for granted. I hope other customers walk away as well. read more

Very poor customer service. Been to this location a few times and my recent visit was the last. Very condescending staff, including manager, and treat the customer like they are an inconvenience. Take the customer for granted. Would not recommend this tire shop. The actual work is good, but it is negated by the staff. read more

I recently purchased a set of new TSW rims for my Chrysler 300S AWD 5.7L through The Tire Warehouse - South. The service I received was excellent and the sales rep was extremely knowledgeable regarding my choices for rim size and my vehicle's requirements regarding offset and bolt pattern. Information that I obtained from other prospective suppliers stated that the pitch circle diameter for my bolt pattern was 114.3mm. The Tire Warehouse rep informed me that this was incorrect and that it was in fact 115mm. Before ordering my rims though, I did some research and it seems that Chrysler has not used 114.3mm (4.5") since the 300M in 1999/02. Unfortunately though, many aftermarket suppliers are still providing rims with the original imperial 4.5" p.c.d. for later 300s and Dodge Chargers. Thanks to The Tire Warehouse I was spared this potential nightmare of rim/hub misalignment which can cause persistent vibration problems. (controversial bolt pattern info. taken from on-line reports). As a car enthusiast for over half a century I have purchased many after market rims and this was by far my best tire shop experience to date. In all areas of customer relations, I give The Tire Warehouse (South) 10 out of 10. Thank you. read more

Had a flat changed and had some damage to my car during the process which was only noticed a few days after. They did not inform me that this happened but obviously knew as a damaged piece of the front bumper was put in the trunk for me to discover later. Not going here again. read more
