Do you like having a waxy residue on your face after you've gotten your eyebrows done? Then check out this place. Honestly I had nothing besides really bad service here. Once while I was getting my brows done the woman was having a conversation with someone in the next room, she was practically shouting in my face. To me it looks like they live out of their salon, the room that you go into to have your eyebrows done has two beds in it and I one of them is covered with pillows, and on occasion someone is resting on it. It's pretty unappealing. Also they expect tips, I totally understand that they work hard and they need the money to continue living out of their salon, but being upset that you're not getting a tip is somewhat arrogant. The overall atmosphere and look of the salon is really nice but the service is lacking. read more

Very good thorough and clean work. I just prefer to not get the younger staff to work on me because I have not had the same service I receive from the older staff. The older staff is more attentive and communicative... they also make suggestions and recommendations on services. They are always asking if I am ok (with my service) if the massage is ok. I love coming here. read more

NO WAIT ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON SAYS IT ALL! Pre- Covid I would have given Forum Nails 3 stars. An older guy used to do the best pedicures and there was attention to detail. I went when they first reopened and the price for everything increased by $5. That's understandable considering the fact that they were closed and are trying to make up the difference I guess. A regular pedicure cost $30 and a deluxe pedicure cost $35. I had no issue paying the price difference because they had just reopened. Fast forward to 3 months later...The difference between the two pedicures is that with the deluxe the MENU SAYS that you get exfoliating sea salt and hot wax. When my toes were being painted I asked about the exfoliating and I was told that's an old menu. Why is a service listed on the menu and not completed but included in the price? I must have upset the technicians by inquiring because my pedicure massage ended up being 1 min and the total time for the pedicure was 15 minutes. The manicure was another story...nails misshapen and not even. I requested another tech because the first one was getting irritated because I kept asking her to file my nails properly. The new nail tech did a better job, but the polish must have been old because 16 hrs later I have the lines in the polish and breaking and cracking on the top. See pic below. Not going back and I told the manager or the shop tech that speaks the most English about the menu. She said "I'm sorry- he gave you old menu, I don't like the paper over the menu". I asked her why no one said anything if the menu changed and it was the same menu that had the price discrepancy from 3 months ago. Her reply was, "we lazy, you do sea salt next time". I told her there will be no next time and it was the first time that I did not tip any of the techs. I should have walked out and not paid. Prices and services change depending on how busy they are and the dollars they can make. I'm sure they don't care about losing my business because people will continue to patronize this business and all their shadiness because they have a lot of techs and no wait. WHY IS THERE NO WAITING TIME ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON? No wait time because people are going to other shops where they are treated half way decent and feel that they aren't just giving away their $ read more

Usually I'm happy with the work, which is why it's 3 stars. But this recent time I went, everything was good. Except my polish. I went end of last week for a gel pedi & already this week the polish is rubbing off. Which it shouldn't since it's gel not sure if it was not enough layers or what. But I'm not very happy with a place I wanted to make my regular salon! read more

Will no longer come here. I like that they are friendly and close by but not worth it anymore! Depending on who u get or what time it is, you most likely end up with a half a$$ manicure. Last time I went for a mani, the youngest looking guy rushed thru the whole thing and my nails were not cleaned up well and the gel started bubbling and peeled within an hour! Not even worth going back to get fixed. And the older guy who does pedicures doesn't know what it means to cut down...who wants long sharp toenails!? Apparently he thinks they're attractive. I'll pay extra money and drive to pleasant hill for a good pedi/mani! read more

Forum Nails - Sophia did exactly what I asked for! Design and shape are perfect! - Nail Salons Near Me - Antioch, California

Had a pedicure here today. On the plus side, this establishment is clean and the woman giving the pedicure was attentive to shaping my nails and trimming of cuticles, etc. However, I chose the upgrade to $30.00 pedicure based on their menu which indicates there was a reflexology band massage included. I was told at time of payment they do not do hand massage. Hmmmm, to me that is false advertising. There was no attempt made to apologize or to help me come to understanding what exactly they were selling. I don't think this is the spot for me. read more

Nhi at forum nails was FANTASTIC. I use to travel 20 minutes to get my nails done done and was looking for a place closer to home and this place was recommended. The first time I went I can't remember who did my nails but they were just okay, nothing special. Yesterday I wanted a full set after not having them done for 3 weeks and they sat me at Nhi station. She was so polite and gentle with my sensitive hands. She did not rush, and was very willing to make my nails exactly how I asked. Her attention to detail was great and I am in love with the coffin shape she has given me. Yes they are a little pricey but you get what you pay for, thank you so much and I'll be seeing Nhi next time. read more

I went today because it was the only option for me at the time .. I paid 50 dollars for a deluxe gel pedi ... I went in with no bail polish on ... all they did was cut my nails scrub my feet with cuticle softener and paint my nails .. there was no exfoliating stones or wax ... then when I asked if I can have some exfoliate applied they said five dollars more .. I paid the $50 and the lady having me pay asked me if I wanted to tip I said no I'm not sure if she heard me because she asked again and I said no ... these people are money hungry with horrible customer service ... read more

Love this place. Everyone is nice. It's clean. Great prices. Hate to share cause it might get busy lol. But it's awesome!

Horrible place. Immediately came in and it smells like nasty mildew. Told them I wanted the deluxe pedi which the was one step up from the basic because it had paraffin wax. He rushed through the entire thing and 15 min later he was already preparing my toes to get color. Never did the wax and when I asked about he he said no more. The customer next to me said they were out. Told them I'm not paying for the deluxe then. I'm disgusted with the smell in here and how this place was not relaxing at all that I am never coming back. read more

Forum Nails - I wish they cut my cuticles but other than that, they're GOLDEN here. *ba dum tss* - Nail Salons Near Me - Antioch, California

I came here for a gel pedi and full set. I picked a purple glitter, and they decided to do a different purple color that, by the way, is turning green and I have no clue why. The acrylics I got were sloppy and I had to file them myself when I got home and had to remove all the glue stuck to my fingers. The pedicure was good besides the nail color mess up but I won't be coming back. I was there from 5 to almost 7:30 because of the wait time, it was only when I was getting up to just pay for my pedicure and leave that they sat me down for my nails!! Overall, wait time is ridiculous and acrylics with gel were sloppy. The staff is nice but the service was very slow. I could've been out in an hour had I went somewhere else when I was stuck there for almost 2 and a half read more

This place is decent. There was no wait which is huge for me as I'm always busy. I went here twice. The first time the owner did my nails and they were perfect. The second time someone else did them and it was just OK. I didn't feel she paid enough attention to detail. I had to ask her to re-file some sections and even the finished product could be a little better. Minor waves in the filing of the nail. I don't think I'll be coming back to do my eyebrows again. They waxed it fine and the oil they used didn't make me break out as it usually does. However, they didn't do much shaping. I had to go home and pluck the lining of my eyebrows myself. I wish I would have gotten the owners name because I would love to request an appointment with her. I would come back again if I was in a hurry but I think If I have more time I would look elsewhere. The environment was clean and the customer service was great. ****Changed my review from 3 stars to 1 because my nail already chipped, 1 day after getting them done. read more

I was looking for a place open after 5pm on a weekday. I came in, it wasn't too busy. The ship is very clean and neat. The employees are friendly. Peter did my pedicure. He didn't try to force me to upgrade my service. He took his time and was very attentive to my needs. Two of my nails had bubbles in them after he was done painting them. He had no problem repainting them. I will be back again. Thank you Peter for wonderful service! read more

No. Never again. The owner has a lot to learn when it comes to treating FIRST TIMERS especially with courtesy. I called first to see if they had time. I walked in 20 minutes later. She sits at the very first chair on the left. I asked her about pricing and agreed to what I needed. She asked me to sit and another girl came to begin work. She asked me what I wanted. So I asked "oh, she didn't tell you?" So since they always speak in a foreign language I guess the girl asked her how much she was charging me because immediately she (the owner) yelled across the room at ME "I told you 40 dollars!!!" I was so embarrassed! I just turned around and said " I didn't ask her that, so I don't know why you're yelling at me ". I'm not the kind of person who's you to make a scene in public, especially over nails. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me. I could've left the shop all angry and yelling but I didn't. Honestly, she made me feel like a dumb cheapskate. Never again will I go back. The other girl did do a good job, but it's not worth it for me. It's up to you anyway if you choose to come here. But beware of her attitude. And no, she didn't apologize. read more
