Kayla is great for pedicures and any of the men are awesome on your nails. My biggest issue with this place is the polish. I always get white but my white always turn colors before the week is out. Here is a Pic of my feet day 5 of me leaving the nails hop. I do not wear colored socks and I dont play in brick dust. Even if I did wear colored socks this is a gel pedicure paid over $55.00 for there is no way my white polished change colors. read more

My Nails & Spa - Pedicure by meisug I might be spelling her name wrong. - Nail Salons Near Me - Pittsburg, California

My nails has always had a bad reputation from back in the day when ppl used to get feet fungus from their pedicures, but I thought I would give them another try since I haven't been here in years and was in the area. BIG MISTAKE. I got a gel manicure on Friday and by the evening it was already peeling, half of my nails the sides were lifting and chipping! I was also in a rush so I did not realize how bumpy my nails were until I saw them in the sun. I could not return until Monday and I was told that I had to get my nails fixed right then and there or come back and pay $20. I was on my lunch break and couldn't get my nails fixed so I declined and they declined to fix it later. I will NEVER return, no one knows how to do nails here and they should be put out of business based on other reviews. Mary did my nails and I could tell she was rushing but most nail shops know how to do quality work quickly, not her! There are so many other good nail shops in Antioch! This is terrible and a waste of my hard earned money. read more

The look of the place is ok and spacious. I took my daughter here for a French tip pedicure, she texted me while there to let me know the did a horrible job. The guy doing her pedi was rude and told her he didn't want to do the color she chose because it was too light so he chose a nude with an orange under tone and even after she said no she didn't like it numerous times he continued. The pedicure itself was not done well and it was messy. The only real positive was the polite and nice older gentlemen at the front desk. The reason why we tried this place even after seeing the other bad reviews was because she received a gift card but now we know. Never again. read more

I went in as a walk in and asked if they had time for a manicure with dip nails. I didn't want gel or acrylic, I wanted dip. The man at the front said they had time and said it'd be $45. He sent me over to Tina. She was very pushy and didn't give me what I wanted. I told her several times I wanted dip nails and she kept ensuring me that she's giving me dip as I'm watching her give me acrylic. I'm 7 months pregnant with twins and very much non confrontational. I didn't want to stress out by continuing to argue with her. I told her I wanted a specific color and she told me no, that what she was going to do was much better. After being in her chair for 20 minutes, she charged me $55 and pressured me to give her a tip. After I said okay, $5 tip she said "$10?" And I said no, "$5". I paid, walked out to my car and then cried lol. I decided to come back in because she cut my finger and I knew I didn't get what I asked for. The man at the front called her over and basically told me he can only give me $5 back. They took a picture of where they cut me and said they'd talk to the manager. I'm hoping to call and see if he's there today but this is unacceptable. I just wanted to feel pretty in my pregnancy. They gaslit me SO BAD. I honestly went home and googled dip vs acrylic even though I KNEW I got acrylic. And I even asked one of the other nail stylists "don't they have to dip your finger for dip nails? And they don't use UV light?" And she said "yes". I got acrylic. I've attached updated photos of my nails from the next day read more

My wife and daughter both got their nails done here, the prices were listed at the front for what they got done and the prices listed were 50 each and when they were rung up they charged them $160 after telling them $100 for the both of them before starting. This place is SHADY af. Don't waste your time unless you're ok getting SCAMMED. Would give 0 starts if I could. read more

I'm sorry I really wanted to like this place. The customer service is ok. I got my nails done by TINA. I had a 2 week outside fill. She works too fast, her drill is set too high, work is very shotty as far as technique and actual care for your nails.. It hasn't even been a full week and almost ALL of my nails are popping off due to the fact she flooded my bases with acrylic. I will need a removal and a full set. She finished so fast I didn't even analyze how actually unhappy I was with my nails (she ended up Fixing the ugliest one) until I was sat for my pedicure. Pedicure was mid also. Gentlemen had attitude and it looks like my 8 year old did my pedicure, also not applied properly and chipping after not even 1 week. I wouldn't reccomend this shop to anyone honestly lol read more

Highly don't recommend getting a service from Sol! Tried to tell me the reason my foot is bleeding is because of skin? No shit I have skin it's not supposed to be bleeding if she knew what she was supposed be doing. I've never had an issue getting a pedicure before because of "skin" whatever that means. Clearly she doesn't know what she is doing or flat out sucks. Had to terminate service. On the other hand Chi Chi is fucking amazing and would recommend her to anyone, never an issue! Professional and delightful conversationalist who does great work! read more

No stars what so ever! I went in to get my nails done a full set. I sat at table 11 with Vincent, i showed him exactly how i wanted my nails, i showed him a photo, i picked the colors & we began. As he was starting i was asking him to fix some things i noticed i did not like, every time he cut me off & said he "got me" but changed nothing! Once he start putting the color on i asked him about the color because it was clear not pink & he said he was going to add it he did not! The nails looked nothing like what i wanted not even close to what i showed him! Than when it was time to pay he said $80 when i gave him CASH he said a different amount! Even my daughter on the phone heard him say $80! Do not come here i had to go to a whole other nail shop to get them fixed. read more

I have been visiting this nail salon since I was fifteen years old, and it has consistently been my favorite establishment in town. Kayla, the nail technician, is a compassionate individual who regularly attends to my pedicures. She knows both me and my children quite well. My visits to the salon are primarily motivated by my desire to see Kayla. During our appointments, we engage in meaningful conversations about various aspects of life. She comprehends my thoughts and feelings, and I, in turn, appreciate her insights; she has become an invaluable part of my experience here. Go see Kayla for a pedicure. read more

I went for a full set and sat with Tina. She put my set on in record time! She didn't file my nails at all! They looked ok when I left but after a week they started to lift at my cuticles because the acrylic laid right into my cuticle and had no shape to it. My nails started popping off after a week. If she's new she needs more training. I paid $100 to have nails for a week!! I use to come here all the time but no more! $100 is a lot of money to spend for crappy work! Take your money elsewhere and have someone take their time to do it correctly! read more

It's ok! The price is not as expensive as other nail spas around the area. They do manicure and pedicures. Nothing really to write too much about. The place is pretty big lots of mani and pedi chairs. The technicians were nice. My girl pedi girl and I did not have too much conversation until the end. So it was pretty in-adventurous, if that is even a word :). read more

I've been going here for the last several years. I always enjoy seeing Diane who does such an awesome job cutting and styling my hair. I've also had pedicures as well those are good, but I wish there was a little more foot massage . What keeps me coming is seeing Diane and how they great the staff does with my brows. I went in to get my face waxed, like always. I go in every three weeks. The lady that did my wax this last time was not the one I normally use, but since it's nothing too crazy, just removing hair, I figure all of these ladies can do the job. I was wrong. I don't remember her name, but she literally got wax in my actual hair and instead of saying anything to me, she grabs scissors and cuts my hair off. She only removed about maybe 60% of the hairs in the areas I paid for, and that's being generous. Then I go to the front to pay, and they charge me 7$ more than I always pay. So I got a terrible wax, an impromptu hair cut, and paid extra for it. If you're looking for a wax, don't go here. read more

I've been coming to this location and ever time I leave with something incorrect but always tell my self, "it's ok we'll try next time!" I always come back and used to refer people to this location BUT AFTER today's service I WILL NOT VISIT OR RECOMMEND ANYONE! On my day off and after visiting gym I decided to go get a pedicure. Check in was quick and welcoming but once I was sat the vibe changed!? They sat me on a chair THAT DOESNT WORK! Plus after waiting for someone to put water I got this one lady that was finishing up another pedicure. She started on my feet and apologized of the chair not working and asked deluxe or regular... I said well regular your chair doesn't work, no massage and no water circulating to massage feet:-(.... Regular! To top it off!!!! The same tools and instruments she used on her other client she used them on mine!! No sterilization AT ALL IN THIS PLACE!!!!!!!! Been keeping shut but we come because we want excellent service and equal treatment!!! I pay for my time and service but obviously I made a mistake to learn and teach others! I've been going here for years, for at least the last 15-20 and I've never had any issue till today. Never in my life had I had a lady make me bleed while removing an ingrown but she also butchered my toe nails. I believe she did this intentionally as well. I broke most of my toe nails and it took me three months to grow them out and she cut them all down to the base as if they had never grown! Who ever wants nails like that??? After catching her she did the other foot correctly but my left toes now look ridiculous. She cut them so short that I have basically no nail on the pink toe now. What's worse is that I still paid full price and tipped her. You can literally see the impression on the skin where the nails should be!!! Sad to say I'm done with that place!!! Oh and it's the worst pedicure I've ever had there and the paint job is bad!!! read more

I specifically come to this location to get my haircut. I get the best haircut that I've ever received each time I'm here. I hate the smell of the nail chemicals I have to endure, but the hair cut is worth it. There's only one person who does hair but I've forgotten her name. I've also gotten pedicures here, although I was hesitant from other yelp reviews and the appearance of the stations themselves. Even so, the pedicure turned out fine. read more

I came in at 1:05pm to get some lashes. The lady at the front desk stated it'll be 15 min. I waited 30 min and she told me they were busy. I was fine with that, I know sometimes people run behind. The lash tech finally came over. I wanted to ask her a question. I ask her how long has she been doing lashes. She became upset a very unprofessionally rush to the front to tell the man and women what I ask her. She was raising her voice for no reason. The others told her to be quiet. She then proceeded to raise her voice to me and storm off. I spoke with listen/ whisper in hope that would somehow calm her down. I was in shock at this type of behavior coming from this nail salon in our community. If I could have rated this place 0 I would have. No one deserves this type of customer service. I was just asking a question. I wouldn't recommend this nail salon to no one, lord forbid you ask a question that rub them the wrong way they'll either refuse to service you or probably do a jack up job. Very disappointed. read more

It was so painful that I said what are you doing my leg doesn't bind you are hearting me. She gave me a look that said she didn't care and was rudely answers me, told her it would be nice if you would say excuse me or sorry. This was a late birthday gift. I came in and requested a full set and deluxe pedicure. I was seated within 3 minutes and Alex started within 5 minutes. He was so nice and caring. I appreciated he gave me something to cover myself because I was wearing a dress. He was so gentle yet detailed with everything. He never rush me to make any decisions or through the service. It was such a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Then Tina did my nails. She was also gentle and kind, every step she took she asked my opinion on her work. The application was flawless and I asked her to freestyle the simple design details. Each nail she did it and made sure I liked the design. Despite me having a mishap with my card; they never rushed me to pay they allowed my husband to come from Concord and pay. They were definitely very kind and generous. My daughters went into this location today and asked for designs they seen on Pinterest and also designs that were posted at the location and was told they couldn't do either of them, they were only able to do basic French tip designs. Then when they were leaving and ready to pay added a tip onto my daughters card and told her she couldn't remove the tip. This was after telling them they didn't have a price sheet and charged $65 for a set of nails and $65 for a pedicure. I've frequented this nail salon several times before and was never charged that much for either. Seems they are taking advantage of teenagers. Also charged one of my daughters before doing her service but didn't do that to anyone else at the location read more

I used to come to this place back in 2017 when I lived in Antioch and was hoping that they had changed. Sadly, the only thing that has changed is the increase in prices. The five stars is for Monica! Station 16! She has been doing my nails for years and her service is always excellent. Friendly and always goes above and beyond for her customers. I remember my first time getting my nails done with her I knew she would become my regular nail person. She always takes time to shape and pays attention to detail. I wish I had more pictures of past nails I've gotten. Many times I have gone in and I don't know what color or design to get and I tell her to pick and I'm never disappointed with the outcome! I work at an elderly skilled nursing facility. I have had my nails done by other technicians and they just don't last as long. She makes them durable and beautiful. I never leave dissatisfied and I have referred others to go to her over the years. She truly believes in giving the customer what they want. You won't regret it! read more

I have gone to them probably 3 times in the last 2 months. The last couple of times everything has been pretty decent. Not much to complain about. But today was something different. I came in for a fill for nails originally done by Vikki, an older lady who is very personable & experienced. They gave me to a woman named Tina, who just didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. She talked me into getting a pedicure as well, but then got angry when the receptionist was going to give me to another pedicurist. I asked her to give me a nude powder with a classic French tips, and to replace two of my nails that were popped off. She gave me a pink powder, and then proceeded to fix the popped off nails. At first they came out oddly shaped and when doing the French nail paint came out sloppy and uneven. I asked her to re do it twice, but then kind of gave up, when it seemed like she just didn't understand what I was trying to say to her. I went to go get my pedicure done by Mary, who did my classic French tip style with gel very well, no complaints for her. But was so distraught about my nails that we're not up to my expectations at all, I decided that I should complain to the manager. After complaining to him he started examining and trying to get the excess paint off my fingers. Then decided the best thing to do was to have Tina go back and try to fix them. Tina reshaped the two popped off nails that were completely wrong and tried to fix some of the wack paint job for the nails that were in dire need. After about 3 times of trying to get her to understand what I needed to be done, I just gave up. She said sorry a bunch of times, and I said sorry for complaining but I needed to get my moneys worth. All in all hands 2/5 feet 4/5. Just don't go to Tina guys. At least for a nice French tip read more

I came in for a soak off and a mani.. the lady was trying to pop off my nails with an acrylic nail and I said no can you guys just do a soak off? she said it takes too long so I did not want to move forward until she said ok we can soak off. While I was talking to pick out my color and attempt to pop out a nail and boom pulled my nail off which made it go through my skin! It started bleeding so bad. She did not want to let me see, she was trying to put it in acetone, and she wanted to put "something that will help" on my nails (later found out she put nail glue on my nails with blood) I'm sure it wasn't cleaned. All times I pulled back my hand to review my finger. I informed her to only take off my nail and a mani. She was very upset I didn't want nothing else after that. I still had to pay $40.. a simple soak off could have prevented this. The blood and ginger was so worse inside, I left crying btw this is a day before new years! why did I trust this place again *crying* read more

The man isn't even a nail tech and they allowed him to do my nails. He took 2 1/2 hours for a full set. He forgot to put primer, they came off next day. He didn't understand a word about what I was asking for. Horrible customer service! Other employees stood by rudely & did nothing to intervene or to help explain to him.
