I don't like writing poor reviews, but I wish my nails looked better. This was my first time getting a manicure and pedicure in over 2 years, YES, 2 years! I came here based on a recommendation by my mother in law. They told me to come in at 3 and when I came in, they were ready for me. No one else was in the salon, but me. It was a Sunday afternoon and most people get their nails did on Fridays, so that was understandable. The salon is actually really nice and clean. I had one person on feet and one person on hands, which made me feel extra special. :-) The ladies were really nice and quiet, so it was pretty relaxing. Since I was getting a manicure at the same time, the massage chair wasn't on. The lady recommended gel on my nails for longevity and I agreed to it. They took their time, which I really appreciated. The color on my toes were darker than my nails, but I loved the job she did on my feet and toes. The fingernails, on the other hand, were not up to par. There were spaces where the polish is supposed to be and the polish was lighter than what I had chosen (not matching toenails). I was really disappointed in my fingernails so I probably won't be back. Otherwise, the people seem nice. read more

HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO HERE! Came in to kill time while waiting for my family to meet me next door at the Pho restaurant.. Saw the sign for the special $25 mani & pedi & thought why not? CONS: - they charge an extra $10 for gel manis - they didn't have the color I wanted available - I did not see them clean or sanitize the tub I sat in - they do not use new files or buffers or plastic bags in the tubs which I was told was a new requirement for salons - one of the workers found an old buffer in the lotion container - the woman who did my mani MADE ME BLEED on 3 of my fingers and tried to blame me for one of them because I was blowing on it because of the burning and instead of apologizing she accused me of "biting my nails" & when I told her that I wasn't and I was blowing on it because she made me bleed she just said "oh".. & trust, I also seen the face she made when she pushed my cuticles too far back and started bleeding and she tried to play it off thinking I wasn't paying attention to her but I was just waiting for a response - two people were working with me for my mani & pedi and it still took TWO hours making me late to lunch with my family - I asked for my nails to be square and they are round and they are all uneven and not matching - the woman who did my mani also tried to work with another client at the same time who was getting her hair colored NO PROS FOR THIS PLACE read more

I'm really disappointed with my nails. I got a full set and they look alright. The lady made my nails too thick and cut me a couple of times. At first glance they look fine, but when you really look at them you can see the problems. I would say you get what you pay for, but I expect a little better quality for $25 plus tip. The ladies are sweet and funny, but their quality of work is kind of poor. I'll post some pictures so y'all can judge for yourself. read more

I've been coming to this salon since they first opened, so I feel bad for what they've become. When they first opened they were using the plastic liners in the tubs, throwing away files after each customer, and even providing tools for returning customers that they stored for you in a plastic box to assure that everything was sanitary. The location was nice and quiet and they really paid attention to detail. Fast forward to 2017, they have gone so far downhill. They are continuing to still do the above, but only when they feel like it I guess. The quality and attention to detail is no longer there. Acrylic is too thick, nails are uneven, I had a girl redo 1 nail 3 times because she couldn't get the line straight on a French manicure. Another lady ended up showing her. As far as being sanitary goes, forget it....unless it depends on who's working. I went in a few weeks ago on a Sunday for a pedicure and was told there was no one there to do it and that I should have called first...huh? You're a nail salon and you don't have anyone there to do nails? Maybe it's because you were all too busy doing each others hair? That was the last straw for me. They had great potential when they started. Pittsburg/Antioch needs a good nail salon, not one that herds you in and out like cattle and spreads fungus like all the other salons in the area. YOU WOULD WANT TO READ THIS!!! TERRIBLE JOB!!! And when I mentioned (POLITELY) "are you going to clean this up?" She snapped back (with attitude) at me and said "I clean for you don't worry!" She proceeded to getting the small square buffer and start pretending to file something. All it did was cause black dots on my nails. Then she immediately lotions hands and arms. And said "Ok you're done thank you" I was pissed none the least! But I closed my mouth (Bc I know they work hard for whatever they get), paid and left. When I got to the party I was headed to after, my friend made a remark like "Damn who did your nails Your niece?" Mind you my niece is 3 years old! So I called to for a refund Tuesday, since Monday they were closed. When I talked a woman over the phone- I said "Hi, I came in on Sunday afternoon to get a gel mani and pedi. And I'm just not happy with my manicure paint job." The lady immediately said "Oh yea you're the one with the white nails huh?" I said oh you remember? Nonchalantly she said "Come in I redo for you! I told her I don't want her services! She yelled and said white is like that but oh well it's redo or don't come again!" IM FLOORED AT THIS POINT! And came to the salon and told her off! I would never recommend this place. I got my nails done by the male in the shop. He told me he was the only person who does acrylic in the shop and of course he wasn't. He was very rude, when i tried to tell him what design i wanted, he totally disregarded me. I had to snatch my hand away because he had 3 fingers painted after i said "excuse me" and "stop" more then 3 times. I then told him i want half my nail polished instead of the whole thing and he said 5 extra dollars. Which was $35 because i had a fill, then he charged me $24. He didnt filed my old nails down or take off the old acrylic.He was terrible, my nails are terrible.. never again!!! read more

I have been going to this salon for about 10 years, ever since they were at the mall beside Macys. The new location is much bigger and they offer more services, such as massage services and a full bathroom was a definite plus! There prices are very reasonable and I would recommend them to friends and family alike. What keeps me coming back is their professionalism and friendliness. They always have nice conversation for me when I come in, speak to my husband if he comes by and my children. My daughter, who is just 7 has even has had a pedicure here, which made her feel so special. Christine (Owner) and her staff always makes sure that I am taken care of. Absolutely terrible it is getting worse each time I come! 2 hours for a mani pedi. Don't waste time making an appointment I show up on time and every time I have to wait 20+minutes. Today my husband paid for him and I she told him the total and he paid. I get almost home and she calls me and says my husband didn't pay for everything... well I don't understand how that is possible she was the one that gave him the total!!! I have been going to this salon for years (14 years and counting) ever since they were at the mall beside Macys. I am so glad they moved to a new location - much bigger facility and facial/massage services were added (score!). The price is very reasonable. What kept me coming back is the level of professionalism but more so the friendship that I develop with the staff. I am very picky about who does work on me (dentist, doctors, hair and nail stylist, etc) - if I don't like the person or the level of service provided, I have no problem moving on and making sure I hire someone that I am comfortable with. But once I find that person/professional - I stick with them for as long as possible. I call them my "Glam Squad!" Christine (Owner) and her staff makes sure that I (and every customer) are taken care of as soon as they stepped in the door. They will offer you coffee, water, treats and other amenities - especially on busy days when customers has to wait. If you have special request - talk to them - they will try to accommodate your request as much as possible. I have been bringing family and friends to the salon - whether its for just mani/pedi or the works (facial/massage/mani/pedi) - it is always a good experience. End result: I left and my toe was burning. A few hours later it was red and swollen. The next morning it was hot to the touch and anything touching it hurt-- even my other toe next to it. I went to the dr and they said it was infected and gave me an antibiotic. I have been soaking my foot in water and having a hard time walking all week and finally called the place to let them know. When the lady answered the phone, I asked if she was the owner and she confirmed. I told her what happened and she said "we are busy you come show us your toe." I said "no, I don't need to come there I'm telling you what happened so you know, I'm doing you a favor by calling you." She said "we are busy you come here and show us your toe." I again said "no, I don't need to come show you my toe. I'm telling you I got an infection from the pedicure I received there and I'm giving you a heads up. I don't want anything from you, I'm being nice by telling you." She said "we are busy" and hung up. I was so pissed by her reaction. More than the crappy service and job they did. Now only 1 week later, and all my GEL nails are chipping. So mad. Here's how the actual service was: I came in a week ago with my friend and our daughters. I got a mani (gel) and pedi. The girl doing my nails was on the phone THE ENTIRE MANICURE AND PEDICURE (don't consecutively, not concurrently). I told her that I had a spot on my big toe that hurt a little and was probably an ingrown nail and to be careful with it. Instead, she jus didn't even really do anything to that side of my toe until the end when she rammed her sharp fingernail directly into where I pointed to to tel her it hurt when she was painting my nails. She didn't even apologize. She was super slow and didn't paint my full toenail. She also didn't cut all of the dead skin off as needed. For my mani, she was even slower. She again didn't cut my cuticles all the way, and wouldn't cut my nails short as I wanted them. I asked her to cut the dead skin off (it was so obvious on every fingernail) and she had an artiste and cut it back a little more but not enough. She finally finishes and I leave pissed. Affordable and reliable. I've been four times in the past five months and everytime I walk in and they either ask me to wait a few minutes or take me right away. I haven't had an issue with any of the ladies doing a bad job. They're all very sweet and they take their time. The only down fall would be the color section, not too many to choose from but I'd much rather go somewhere they does a great job with less colors then more colors and a bad job. This is the most amazing clean and sanitary place! The people are so kind and the prices are very good! The atmosphere is so relaxing with massage chairs and water, etc. There is a lot of free parking and the area is clean and safe; easy to access. Hair, nails, waxing, massages, facials, they do it all and are licensed and experienced. The products are fresh and organized. The technicians are neatly dressed. Free wi-fi, pleasant music, and a television on request. The waving and massage rooms are private and nicely decorated with soft lighting. Many packages and a reward card are offered. My daughters and I started going the Salon when it was in the Antioch Mall by Macy's to get our Eyebrows waxed about 5 years ago. I have uneven eyebrows that never looked right until I started going to this salon and Christine fixed them. I do not trust anyone else to do the great job that she does. I was not aware when they moved to the new location and had to go to another salon to get my eyebrows done.And they came out horrible. I then was looking for a place to bring my 77 year old father to get a pedicure and found Christine again. I was so happy. I was so relieved to have found her and her staff. The new salon is beautiful, Well lit and very clean. They have massage rooms and offer even more services then before. I now come once a month with my Mother and Daughter to get Manicures/ Pedicures and eyebrow wax. The staff is always very professional. They take their time to do the job right. We never feel rushed. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave the customer service is excellent. The staff always is friendly and sweet. My mother is 76 years old and they treat her so wonderful. They treat my whole family as if we are special. I recommend them to everyone I know. They are a 5 star Salon. I am so thankful to have such wonderful salon to go to and I will continue to go every month and tell everyone who will listen how great they are. read more
