I went here for the first time today on the recommendation of a good friend as well as the fact that my favorite manicurist Michelle, Christine and Nam now work there. This place is clean and sanitary and pleasant to visit. All the tools are wrapped in surgical casings, letting me know this salon cares about my health as a consumer. Michelle did my pedicure today and Christine did my manicure and eyebrows. I splurged and got the supreme pedicure and almost feel asleep. Same with my manicure. My eyebrows never looked better. I come to Philip Nails from time to time, but today (April 2nd) will be my last visit. I called ahead of time to see if they had time for a manicure/pedicure, and drove there. I was seated immediately and was getting my pedicure/manicure service. After 15 minutes I realized that the woman working on my hands didn't really know what she was doing, she kept shaking as she was cutting my cuticle, and sprayed my hands with alcohol twice within a 5 minutes span. I thought she would have moved on with applying nail polish. I was wrong. She proceeded to apply hand lotion right after applying the gel base. At this point I had to stop her and my pedicure was finished and was confused and nervous- not a feeling you want after leaving a nail salon. They were going to shift me over to a table to finish my gel application and I said I would pay for my services and leave. I was then asked to pay for my full service for a clean-up as my manicure. My only regret was not pushing back on that $20 charge, but I won't be returning back. read more

I came in today for a pedicure ( April 29th, 2026). The guy who gave me the pedicure was rough on applying the scrub on my leg, as if was in a rush to finish. When applying the tissue around my toes he was doing it as if he was tired of providing services. I asked him to give me only ONE COAT and he still did two coats even me telling him twice. i've been going to this place for years and have been happy until today when the employee (asian male around 50) doing my pedicure tried to avoid giving me my $10 change. basic pedi for $30 and i gave him $40 asking for change. i asked a second time while my toes were drying and still no change. he tried ignoring me when i got ready to leave so i walked up to him and asked a 3rd time for my change. get to the register and he tried to only give me $5 back. at this point i feel he was trying to cheat me so i asked for ALL my change back and walked out w/o leaving a tip. he would have had $6 tip but he ended up with $0. i hope the owner reads so yelp so he knows this guy is stealing and giving his business a bad name. read more

I went in asking for an overlay and was told it would be $40 which definitely seemed like a reasonable and great price! Was explained that since I had acrylics they would need to charge $5 extra for the removal of the acrylics. Thought I would have the acrylics soaked off but NOPE! I had my acrylics yanked off and my pain level was at a 10 the whole entire process. Was in the shop for a total of ~30-35 minutes. A rushed job forsure. They didn't take their time and didn't bother to spend time buffing out the nail prior to applying the nail polish. Super disappointed considering I had read some decent reviews on this place. Ended up coming home to filing out the edges with left over acrylic powder. Had nail polish around my cuticles. Hoping my nail doesn't start lifting within the next couple days.. read more

I've never been so rushed for a pedicure. It was a 15 minute pedicure the guy that did my pedicure didn't seem all interested in giving customer service after I picked the basic pedicure. Didn't spend any time cleaning the nails. 1st time here & I won't be back . Also when I got here it wasn't busy . Not only were they not what I asked for, but they've been sloppily put together, not even filed or shaped properly. I had to remind the nail tech to use primer before putting on the acrylic. Otherwise, they would just fall right off. Also, while trying to shape these, he definitely cut my cuticle. It is my birthday today and this had completely ruined my bday. Now I have to go find a different nail salon and pay even more money to have them fixed. I'm just so very, very disappointed if all nail techs could just be honest with what they can and cannot do then I would be happy. This is unacceptable . I am sad. I thought I was going to like this place until I saw the lady NOT wash the bowl my fingers were soaking in AND I got cut BAD by the cuticle cutter. I got a huge chunk of my skin cut off and my finger wouldn't stop bleeding the entire time. They kept wiping it with the towel they were doing my nails on. I had to ask for alcohol to decrease chances of infection. My blood was all over the towels and Q-tips. I hope they sanitized that station for the next customer. I bled through 4 bandaids. Once I got home I soaked my finger in hydrogen peroxide and applied antibiotic ointment in it. I told them I'll be back the next day to get that finger redone, but my finger is still hurting as the cut is pretty deep. And I don't know if I want to go back to get it done. No discount was offered for the inconvenience that happened, I'm quite traumatized now. I paid $39 for a gel manicure, deep cut, and an upper lip wax. This was my first time at this salon. Im just trying to find a salon that takes their time and pays attention to infection control. read more

I wish I could give a negative 100! This guy is a complete jerk and I cannot believe he is still on business! I just moved to the area and stopped in to give them a try. I asked if they were accepting walk ins and he was so rude and embarrassed me in-front of everyone. He kept saying I only accept cash and I am open till 7 so we have time and then completely ignored me for 15 minutes before I asked how long the wait would be. He looked up at me in pure disgust, looked around, then mumbled 30 minutes. There was no one there and workers walking around doing nothing. I walked out feeling so made and embarrassed. I have been coming here for a while for pedicures. They do a decent job for pedicures but acrylic nails a whole different story. They SCAM you. I have gotten a different nail tech the past 3 times I've gone. I've gotten the same thing each time (colored tips) and each time I've been charged a different price. When I ask, I get some bs excuse. Now, I called and asked to get two nails fixed because they already broke off after 4 days! you could see the bubbles under the nails signaling they weren't on all the way which is THEIR FAULT. Well I called and they want to charge me per nail since it's past 3 days. My sister also went and got a full set. She paid with card and tipped with cash. Well, her credit card statement showed they charged her an additional 10$. When she asked their response was "we charged you for a broken nail". How can you charge someone for a broken nail when it's a brand new set!? At the end of the day, they don't go off their pricing when it comes to manicures and acrylics. They will add prices on and give you some dumb excuse and pocket the money. Go spend your money somewhere else where they actually care and don't rip you off. read more

Today was my second visit to Phillip's. First time was only for a pedi which was great at $28 and this time I did a mani and pedi but I opted for the $43 enhanced pedi. Next time I'll probably go back to the standard one because it didn't seem much different. I do want to give a shout out to Mia, she did both of my services. Decided to give this place a try as some of the reviews seemed good! I'm a very picky person, i'm going on vacay and my normal guy is booked up. I called this place same day and was able to be seen same day as well. The guy who did my nail was an older guy. Seemed like he was rushing thro the service. My nails look fat! I wanted square medium length which he did but it's like fat nails! Ima have to reshape it myself at home! How annoying is that! Over the phone the lady told me $30 for full set no color, after the service i was told $35 and then $1 extra dollar for using card instead of cash! Lame! the guy also cut the side of finger and didn't say anything about it! I'm so annoyed! Never again going here! I just these nails actually last me 3 weeks or so otherwise ima be pissed! I obviously haven't been to the nail salon is awhile because I thought this spot was still forever nails. Since I already pulled up I figured might as well give them a try. I walked in and was greeted immediately and sat in the pedicure seat. The pedi was relaxing and enjoyable I ended up getting the second deluxe pedi. Next I headed over to the nail station and asked for short coffin with regular polish. I'm not a big nail person so I wasn't really concerned about gel or regular polish. Overall I'm satisfied, but the one issue I have are the prices. How the heck did I end up walking out of the salon paying 105(not including tip). Did salons get more expensive like what did I miss? If I did this review when I first started going here, it would've been 5 stars. However, I have been here about 5 times now, and I am not really satisfied. The first time I went, I did a dip nail full set, and they came out beautifully! This is what made me come back. The second time I went was months later, and I got the same thing, but this was with a different person. I should've known by her trying to convince me to try acrylic nails, that she wasn't well versed in dip. The next day, one of my nails broke. And two days after, two more broke. I went back again to get a regular acrylic full set and this was much better only this time I started getting pedicures also, and I regret that now. I've gotten pedicures twice with about three weeks in between, and the bottoms of my feet are super cracked now and one of the cracks was actually a cut. I have no idea how, because they don't even use the grate. I'll just keep doing ny own feet, thank you. This last time, I went to get my third set of fills, and the next two days one broke and then a few days later, two others broke. Of course, this could be due to the tips growing out and my real nail growing, but that's why fills have to be reinforced. Not many nail techs seem to know this. They are decent in price and always have availability but I think it's time to invest a bit more for better quality. read more

I just walked in without any yelp research as I had a party in less than a week. I wanted to treat my mom and friend with a good gel mani pedi experience that too for their first time. Giving 3 stars because my friend's nail lady was very professional and knew her job well. My friend is happy with her nails, however me and my mom were not that lucky. We Didn't like the manicure. These pictures are after week 7 days and looks like it's 4 weeks old manicure- Chipping has already begun. I was telling my nail lady to fill the paint the nails without gaps and make it look neat. Everyone is so so nice in here. I get my gel pedicures done here every month and I am never disappointed. It is a very clean salon. They use plastic over the pedicure sinks and take the nail equipment out of new bags each time I go. Always be sure to call ahead for an appointment cause they are popular! My daughter had her nails done by Phillip. He did not tell her the price beforehand, he only stated that the design requested would be "more expensive." After he finished her nails he charged her $150. When I called him, he lied about what he had said. My daughter has never agreed to any service price before letting me know. I believe that he took advantage of charging her a price for his time. Phillip stated to me that her design "went over into another client's appointment." That sounds like he needs to learn how to both manage and prioritize his time with client's. My daughter should not have been subjected to paying for his inadequacies. I would say it's ok. If you're looking for a place to go to that provides quick service. Went in for a gel mani and a regular pedicure. For the manicure they basically just removed the old polish and replaced it with the new one. No massage. Didn't even wipe my hands/arms with warm towel. That alone was $34. As for the pedicure it was ok, felt like they only did the bare minimum and I got charged $28 for it. For me the price is they're price ia high for the time they spent on me. They applied the polish perfectly though, so that's the upside. read more

First of all I just moved, had a baby and was looking for a place conveniently close. I went to this place twice and was help by the same lady. She's the older lady who's station is in the back. I'm not pleased at all. First she did my fill and they were thick and lumpy. I didn't complain because I was a walk in. Today I went in open minded and wanted a pedicure and sadly the same old lady was available. I knew it was going down hill. Surprisingly she was the only one available. She was rough and rushed my pedicure. And the massaging chair was dirty with acrylic powder. She didn't even attempt to clean it up. I don't recommend this particular person.
