First experience; It's my day off, so God forbid I want to dress comfortably and wear my sweats and a hoodie, not bummy by any means, just stylish and comfortable. I had the intention of buying 3, THREE full size Ariana Grande perfumes. I stood by the perfume area for 40 minutes. So many workers walked by including managers- but couldn't be bothered. I was very frustrated, so much so that one of the makeup staff noticed my frustration and asked if I needed help, and left their area to come help me. (They are like a diamond in the middle of a heap of coal, and I appreciate them). I proceed to the register area and lo and behold a few of the associates that WALKED RIGHT BY were all congregating at the register desk. Not actually working on the registers- just standing around giggling and gossiping. I did not want to be a Karen. But I had to say something. I asked for a manager, and one bravely stepped to the plate- prematurely assuming she was going to shut me down. Oh honey, no. Unfortunately for her, I noticed she was the manager that walked right by me with her nose snubbed in the air. I let her know how rude her and her staff were with the exception of the one sweetheart associate. She didn't even apologize. She just stood there annoyed with an "as if" attitude. Months later... I still had a sour taste in my mouth from my first visit, but I had no choice. My foundation was in store only, so I had to suck it up and go. I went inside and I didn't recognize any of the workers, it seemed like all new staff. I don't think it would be far fetched to assume they have a high turnover rate. The atmosphere was still snobbish, but it's Boujee Brentwood, par for the course. I found a few extra things, bringing my total to an expected $100ish. As I was standing in line, I overheard cashiers asking the other patrons if they wanted the free samples. I remember now that usually Ulta will give free samples with a minimum purchase. As I finished checking out, I noticed the cashier did not offer a sample. I didn't want to be a beggar but I quietly asked anyway. She acted like I was speaking Alien, and asked for a managers help. He wafted over and gladly asked what he could do to help. She told him I was asking for free samples and he quickly changed his demeanor from glad to perturbed. He loudly invited me to see what samples he had available, making a scene and announcing the inconvenience of having to go through boxes of samples behind the register. I was humiliated, oh but that was a mere taste of what he had in store for putting him out. He made sure to raise his voice when offering me each sample, individually explaining their benefits. He proceeded something to the effect of; This one is for WRINKLES, This one is for BAGS under your eyes, and this one honey- you could really benefit from this, if you use this every day- YOU WOULDN'T HAVE TO USE SO MUCH MAKEUP. I was absolutely embarrassed as I noticed every customer in line was staring at me with mixed reactions of either empathy or enjoyment. I have ZERO wrinkles and I barely had any makeup on that day. Never, ever again. If I have to buy anything from Ulta, I will only ship.

What is the name and where can I find the woman who used to do eyebrows at the Antioch Walmart location in 2015 when they we're located on the left entrance of the store? When they closed down due to remodeling, and switched to the right entrance of the store she wasn't there anymore. She did the best eyebrows, and they were arched to perfection. No one has lived up to her standards since. I've been on the hunt for this lady for years and I would love if i could go back to her for an eyebrow waxing. read more

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The nail technician was very pushy about what she thought would look best on me instead of listening to what I requested. I normally get a short-to-medium coffin shape because of my job, but she repeatedly insisted that a coffin shape couldn't be done at that length. I've had that shape and length many times before, so this was confusing. I also asked for an ombré design, but the final result looked completely different from what I requested. In hindsight, I should have spoken up, but I was on my way to a wedding and didn't have time to have them redone. The most concerning part was that I developed an infection on my right middle finger afterward. That was extremely disappointing and raises concerns about sanitation practices. Also my nails broke within a few days... Based on my experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this salon.

Their stars and reviews on Yelp are mixed and low for a reason..pay attention there's plenty of better nail salons out there for you ladies. Coming back to edit this review after the business owner replied, which I'm shocked she did considering she's the one who was on the phone with me claiming I can't come back in. It does not accurately reflect what happened. The repeated issues with my nails were not a matter of me wanting free services -- they were the direct result of substandard work that failed to hold up as a proper gel manicure should. A quality gel manicure should last 2-3 weeks without chipping. The fact that repairs were needed multiple times speaks to the quality of the application, not to any unreasonable demands on my part. I also want to address your claim that I have repeatedly asked for refunds in the past and that you have granted them -- that is simply not true. That is a false statement made publicly to discredit me, and it is unacceptable. What is also unacceptable is that you never gave me the opportunity to explain my side of the situation. That is not how you treat a customer. Period. I am not alone in this experience either. Several other women have come forward to share that they were treated the same way. On top of that, I have become aware of a health violation at this salon that was reported and not properly addressed -- something every potential customer deserves to know about. I have every right to warn my community so that others are not misled or mistreated. I hope this salon takes this feedback as a real opportunity to do better. If I could give 0 stars I would. After 6 YEARS of loyal business, I was refused as a customer -- and the reason given was completely fabricated. The owner accused me of requesting multiple refunds for coming back in with chipped nails. I have NEVER requested a refund from this salon, not once. I explained this calmly and repeatedly, but she refused to listen and simply said, "My staff doesn't want to help you anymore." No proof. No explanation. No willingness to have an honest conversation. Just a flat-out refusal to book my appointment after over six years of consistent business. To make matters worse, this interaction finally confirmed what I had long suspected -- the staff has been talking about me in their own language during my visits. I always felt uncomfortable and dismissed whenever I was there, like I was being discussed right in front of me. Now I know my instincts were right. Six years of loyalty, and this is how they treat a customer. Absolutely disgraceful. Save yourself the stress and find a salon that actually respects and values the people walking through their door.
