Facial Express + Dermaplaning

I regret adding dermaplaning to my facial. This is not normal, they made it seem like this usually happens. She was too rough on my skin while dermaplaning. I really liked my facial but now I have to fix these cuts on my face. I would not come back, I have received a better service at other locations.

How about a monthly membership to treat your face with top notch skin care products? You also don't have to be a member but it certainly has its perks. I found this business in the Press and made an easy online appointment the next day for a glacial facial. The facility is new and feels welcoming and clean. I had booked with Raylin who was super friendly. She walked me through each step of the facial which was 45 min long. We talked about my concerns and how I wanted a low maintenance, throw and go routine. I was sold on the monthly membership because 1) I can gift the monthly facial to a friend, family, or neighbor and 2) you can cancel anytime. What a really nice idea to come in monthly and treat my skin.

I was spending the day in Brentwood and wanted to find a place to book a facial. I was able to get a same day appointment. Lucky me. After falling off my self care routine during the pandemic, I was looking to get back on the self care wagon. I was able to book online easily and I received an express facial by Raylin. Raylin was great. The spa was clean and had a nice, airy vibe. I especially enjoyed the UV light treatment. I noticed an immediate difference in my skin. Raylin was both knowledgeable and personable. We developed a plan based on my concerns. Skin Experts offers a monthly membership as well. The staff was kind and welcoming. I was rather impressed. I'll be making the trek from Oakland for additional services.

Started to break outs and tiny pimples after the treatment

Ask the Community - Skin Experts

Do you offer services to remove blackheads?

Hi Kaylee, Yes, we do offer services to remove blackheads! Every facial includes a deep cleanse…

I have a few skin tags I would to have removed. Do they perform this type of service?

No, they don't. You would need to go to the Dermatologist for this type of service.

Dynese is a gift from God! I wish I found her sooner but I'm happy I found Skin Liaison now! I was…read morein desperate need of a face regimen that actually works on my face and Dynese knew exactly what my face needed! I have been using the regimen she recommended for me for about 2 months, I have also gotten facials and I can't express enough how amazing her products are and how much they've helped me skin! My face is glowing, no more hormonal acne, black heads or redness on my face. Not to mention her products do not have an odd chemical odor and they are not harsh on the skin, this also applies to the facials as well. When I've gotten a facial I'm always pleasantly surprised by the smell of the products. If you are in need for a facial or just some help with you skin I highly recommend you call and book an appointment with Dynese at the Skin Liaison, she knows what your skins needs and she is also one of the nicest most caring people I know! Thank you again Dynese!

After the rave reviews on here, I took my daughter to get a facial with Denyse. Unfortunately, we…read moredidn't have the experience that the others had. We found her to be very nice but overpriced, over talkative, and not professional. Our appointment was at 1:30pm and she arrived at 1:35 with her lunch in hand. We had to wait outside until she unlocked the door. Her desk was a mess and she had trouble finding the intake form. We had to wait longer while she set up. It might just be my standards, but I think it shows professionalism and seriousness when the workspace is clean, clear and ready for business when your client arrives, especially to make a good first impression. Then, during the facial, while the mask was setting, she made a personal phone call where we could overhear her discussion. The extractions were quite painful and my daughter winced and moved her feet quite a bit to get through it. The appointment itself was close to 2 hours long. Once again, Denyse was friendly and I like her integrative approach but overall we do not recommend nor will be returning.

I just had my 1st appointment several weeks ago. We sat and talked and she really knew how to study…read moremy face as I talked about my concerns with my aging/ lines/ wrinkles. She pointed out my facial muscles and how one affects the other. We talked and bonded about friends, babies, dogs, ect I felt so comfortable and she has a light hand- nothing hurt... When she said her age I was shocked as she looked at least 20 years younger! After 2.5 weeks my results finalized. No more scowl forehead lines. We even touched an area on my lip that wrinkles when I say W WORDS. I use dysport rather than botox- even on that lip area. Now when I smile my upper lip doesn't disappear!! Which was a pleasant surprise. I will continue to use her and I highly recommend her!!

1-Star Review -- Móvel Medical Aesthetics | Disappointing Customer Experience and Concerns About…read moreTransparency I was genuinely interested in trying Móvel Medical Aesthetics because I discovered the business through Instagram. Before my service even began, I explained that I am an influencer who enjoys supporting local businesses in the area and trying their services. Unfortunately, my experience left me disappointed by the communication, professionalism, and way my questions were handled. One of the first issues involved the emergency contact section of the intake form. I explained that I had entered "N/A" because I did not wish to provide an emergency contact. I was told that I was required to list someone, so I entered 911. I felt that this became an unnecessary point of tension before my treatment had even started. I understand that businesses have intake procedures and safety policies, but I would have appreciated a clear, professional explanation of the policy rather than feeling pressured over the form. My other major concern involved professional credentials. During our interaction, I questioned why the person being referred to as a doctor was a physician assistant (PA), rather than a medical doctor (MD or DO). The PA reportedly stated that she owns 50% of the business. However, business ownership does not change someone's professional credentials. A PA and a physician are different professional roles, and clients deserve transparency about who owns the establishment, who performs treatments, and who is responsible for medical oversight. I felt that the conversation became defensive instead of focusing on answering my questions. My concern was never that being a PA is a bad thing. My concern was the distinction between professional titles and making sure clients understand the qualifications of the people providing or overseeing their care. I was also disappointed by my interaction with RN Mel Menendez, who repeatedly referred to her employer as a doctor and described the establishment as a doctor's office. When I raised my concerns, I felt that my questions were not addressed in the calm, professional manner I expected. The conversation also shifted toward my use of casual terms such as "girl" and "boo." I can respect someone's preference for how they wish to be addressed, but I felt the focus moved away from the substantive questions I was asking. Medical aesthetics involves people's bodies, health, and money. Clients should feel comfortable asking reasonable questions about provider qualifications, medical oversight, and business practices without feeling that they are creating a problem simply by speaking up. I came in interested in trying a local business and potentially sharing my experience with my audience. Instead, I left disappointed with how the interaction unfolded. Being open about my interest in supporting local businesses did not change my expectation of being treated respectfully and receiving clear answers. I believe transparency, professionalism, and respectful communication should be priorities in any medical aesthetics establishment. I encourage prospective clients to verify provider credentials independently and ask questions about who will be responsible for their treatment before booking. My disappointment is not about someone's professional title; it is about transparency, communication, and how a client's reasonable questions are handled. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Definitely will not be back ! Also a PA is not the same as a medical doctor so stop trying to compare the two things as if they are false advertisement I would not recommend this place I was profiled the rn mel !! She can't control her emotions would not recommend this place horrible !!!! only treat you correctly if you're white

I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed with my recent experience…read more I was supposed to have my SkinPen microneedling appointment today, only to receive a text message this morning saying it was cancelled again due to staffing. This is now the second time my microneedling appointment has been cancelled, in addition to one Botox appointment had to be rescheduled months prior. These appointments were booked months in advance, and each time I've had to clear my schedule and make arrangements around the appointment, only to receive a last-minute cancellation. At this point, I'm tired of going through the same cycle. When I requested a refund, I was offered an appointment as soon as two days from now. I appreciate the offer, but at this point I no longer feel comfortable continuing to book appointments and hoping they actually happen. There are other businesses that would appreciate my business and respect the time customers set aside for appointments. I was told someone would reach out within 24-48 hours regarding my refund. Hopefully, this is one commitment that will actually be followed through on and won't result in another broken promise. I simply want my refund and to move on
