She twized a chunk of my eye lid. Looked unsanitary place. She put wax on my under arms only one time all over and pulled so painful, you know she is not trained to wax if she tries to wax you and she is not doing section by sections. I literally worked next door so I went here. The pedicure was bellow average, she used a cream with exfoliation and I thought she was being rough and I'm being too sensitive, I felt manhandled by her, she was a big lady. When I came home, I got red light scratches on my legs from the sandy stuff that was inside her cream. I'm never coming back and I told my coworkers to stir clear of this place. read more

Here is a photo of how the nail tech damaged my toenail. when he was done there was still dead skin and all still left on my feet. I started to complaint to the lady by the name of Tu' . She stood there began to play the dumb roll like she did not see my feet. She offered to fix it I accepted and then let her know he need to re-scrub my feet. She then came over and said that he will remove the polish so I can go get my toe fixed elsewhere ( when their establishment damaged my nail) I accepted and left. Worst place ever $27 to get your toenails painted only then take your skin off your toes wtf

Tried this place after realizing the one we were trying to go to was closed? Whatever. My friend's pedicure was done quickly (she went first), of which they briefly soak your feet in the warm water, cut nails with the cuticle clippers and gel, to cut the cuticles. Proceed with sugar scrub, lotion, hot towel, alcohol to toes, base, polish, top coat. It was a $20 pedicure with regular polish (but they offer $35 gel if you want it), but it was in fact JUST a $20 pedicure. No massage, nothing special. And the woman who did hers jacked up her big toes and pinky toe. For me, it was better than the $25 L&K nails in Brentwood, who painted the skin by my toes to look like I had nail there (separate from this review)---- However, I had a woman who had just started and I felt like she took a little more time with mine but it was still rushed. And unfortunately she didn't paint the entire nail, on pretty much any toe. While I struggle with the lack of coverage- it was still better than L&K for me. Probably won't go back, but it was worth a shot. Not sure of sanitary practices there besides using the baggy insert for the tub and a disposable yellow callous scrub sponge. April is awesome. The girls that work here are also great. I always get my fills with April and my pedicures with Mary. U won't be disappointed. Also to mention is how fast April does nails. I have 3 kids and don't have a lot of time to spend on getting my nails done. Her fills even with designs are about 30-40 min tops. I have been here once before and had an ok experience.... my second time was disastrous. The person doing my nails had NO idea what she was doing. I asked April "does she know what she's doing"? She was so rude and defensive. After I put my fingers under the light 3 times, they were still wet. I asked the other girl there what the hell... she had to buff the top coat off and put something else on. Fast forward two days.... ALL gel is gone. I came here as a walk-in on a Sunday afternoon. They were able to accommodate me quickly for a pedicure and gel manicure. The woman who did my pedicure was very nice, and the woman who did my manicure was very nice as well. I did find it strange that they did not wrap my nails which had gel on them, and just have me soak my fingers in a bowl of acetone. I have to tell you this started to feel very uncomfortable on my fingers, quickly. I even asked why they do this and they said it was quicker. The woman who was working on taking my existing gel polish off used a Dremel on my natural nails, I asked her not to and instead use a hand file or buff, but she told me no and that she would turn the dremel power down. After soaking my fingers in acetone, and then taking a Dremel to them, it was not a pleasant experience. I also asked for extra coats as my nails are thin and was told 5 coats were standard. It's been about a week and a half and now my polish is starting to change colors and look very weird. I won't be back and you shouldn't either read more

Last time I got my nails done I went to Bella nail salon also in Pittsburg but they were closed today, and I needed a fill badly. So I looked on Yelp and saw this place had the hologram and chrome powder so I thought I'd give it a try. I called at about 2:00 and made a same day appointment for 3:30 for a fill and color change. Arrived at 3:20, checked in and Michael helped me right away. My daughter and I were the only ones in there so for a second I was worried that this place was going to be horrible. No customers usually means it's a shitty salon. However, this wasn't the case at all! Michael did my fill perfectly, he even fixed one nail that was a little crooked from the last salon and he put the hologram powder on my nails and made them beautiful. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back! For a fill (coffin shape) and hologram it'll cost you $45 which honestly to me, isn't that bad compared to other places. read more

I've come here twice and won't be returning. My first visit was ok, the gel polish they did had some bubbles and didn't cover on the sides of the nail, but I got over it. The 2nd time was a fiasco. Gel polish lasted 2 days before areas were lifting and bubbles were forming. I was able to peel off the top coat to show that the undercoat was still wet. The tech grinded off this polish on my nails (no soaking) and did get pretty close to my natural nails is I felt it getting hot. I jerked away a few times that she continued to grind off the remaining color. We reapplied the gel polish and a few days later same thing happens again. I've never had this happen nor did I want my nails grinded again for the third time. Returned to remove the gel Polish and put regular nail polish. I told her not to grind them and this time she soaked them. however I felt like I was being rushed and that she did not remove all of the previous gel that was on my nails. At this point, someone else should have fixed it since they had me go to the same person that screwed it up. If you come in too near their closing time, are you made to feel rushed or like you are an inconvenience? Or do the choose to be gracious if the opt to take you as the last client of the day. Here is what I have to say about this establishment - which I found tonight whole in a desperate nail-service needing situation: grace, kindness AND they give good nail. My only regret is that because of my frazzled timing, I couldn't take advantage of their awesome sounding and looking Herbal Spa service. Organic aromatherapy service with a dozen choices (Stress Relief, Rejuvenation, Congestion Relief, etc.) soak, scrub, mask, massage and paraffin. And on special promotion right now. That settles it. I was super hesitant to go here because I'm so used to my regular nail salon but this was closer to home so I gave it a shot. Boy do I wish I had taken the drive to Concord. I gave it 1 star because the lady was nice but that is about all I can say nice. Unfortunately I suffer from ingrown toenail's, she not only didn't fix it she actually made it worse, it was a fast pedicure she even used a little timer and then proceeded to charge me $55 for an extremely basic pedicure! I told her that I wasn't gonna have time to do a full set she said she could do them in 30 minutes I showed her a picture of what I wanted which was coffin shape with pink tips nothing crazy, my nails look awful! Not only is the acrylic lumpy, The paint job looks like that of a child and they are not even the shape or design that I asked for. All of this for $110!!! I will NEVER go back to this place again, I would rather pay the gas and spend the time driving over the hill to actually get someone who will do what you ask for. read more

It was gel and still chipped. The first time it was fixed. A few days later my nails became worse . Returning the 2nd time I was told after 3 days I am required to pay. I came here for a gel manicure & pedicure last Saturday (6 days ago), and I will not be going back. The whole experience was bad & im upset with myself for not just waiting to go to my usual nail place. The environment was awful, there was one employee literally running across the salon because she was working on so many clients all at the same time & the woman doing my nails was talking so loud across the room that my ears were ringing when I left. I didn't want a deluxe pedicure so they didn't trim my cuticles, massage my feet or legs & painted over my cuticles so the polish is already chipping. Cuticle trimming & a massage are standard for a basic pedi everywhere else I've ever been. When she started my mani she argued that the shape & length I wanted were impossible on my natural nails. I always get a coffin shape everywhere else. I also asked her to cut them a tiny bit & she ended up cutting them really short. When she was doing the cuticle trimming she showed me the tool she was using & was pointing out how much skin was on them, my cuticles were really grown out so I thought it was mine but when I got home, I realized she didn't even trim my cuticles. Why was she showing off her dirty tools with someone else's skin???? & why was it near me???? She also put my gel on top of my cuticles & it started lifting the next day. read more

Then things changed she started rushing, my nails were breaking faster, attitudes, and etc. I loved it so much i started taking my mom there and would spend 175 for the both of us with ease because hell i felt i had to stay loyal but this last visit was enough for me! Not sure if the guy was going thru a funk, maybe just tired. It was at the end of the day. He didn't ask me how I wanted my nails, he cut them way shorter then I asked, on top of that he left them all lopsided. The gel is all bubbly, he didn't even cure them right, my nails are all a different shape and sizes. I been doing my nails for 17+ years I have never had my nails like this even my husband was making fun of me. I feel like I paid for a student to do these. Never again, wouldn't recommend.
