We decided very last minute to get a massage as we both so desperately needed one. Found this spot on Yelp not realizing how close they are to home. We were happy with our massages and plan to come here regularly esp with them being 5 minutes from home. Place was clean. They weren't really busy at all when we arrived. This is a go to spot for me! Aesthetically it isn't much, but the staff is incredibly friendly and I'm always happy with the quality of the massage and it's such a great deal! I often just get the 60min reflexology which is usually enough for me since they really do your whole body. I have been having awful back aches from breastfeeding my baby at home. They had an opening the same day I called for a 90 minute session. The current prices are $1/minute (not including tip). My massage therapist was wonderful and when she noticed I had discomfort in my chest, she provided 2 additional pillows that made laying on my stomach much more comfortable without having to ask. She checked in frequently to see if the pressure was OK throughout the session. I noticed that I was moving a lot easier the next day. Will definitely come back again soon! read more

First off the smell when you hit the front entrance then I got taken to the back and as soon as I laid down, I literally here someone having s** next door and I can hear everything. My last review mysteriously disappeared However, my experience was ok. I have had much better from them in the past. The lady asked me "Hot stones, Ok? I replied, "Yes, thats fine" she put 2 warm, (Not Hot) stones and rubbed my back for 1 min per stone. Fast forward the Massage ended, I get dressed and begin walking out. I said thanks to the receptionist and proceeded to the donut shop down the way. Got it! Here's the same review with no hyphens: I have been coming here for a while and always loved it. My whole family comes too. But after yesterday, I am honestly heartbroken. We were basically rubbed with forearms for 60 minutes. It was not a massage. My skin was sore and I left in more pain than I came in. My mom, who was so excited after work, felt the same way. I even called a doctor friend who said bad massages can shock your body and leave you inflamed. That is exactly how we felt. Prices also went up by ten dollars and we still tipped fifteen dollars each, but the service did not match at all. We told the front desk, but there was no apology and no concern. I have never felt this disappointed leaving a massage. We really needed the healing and instead we left hurting. read more

The deep tissue massage was really good. His hands/pressure were very strong, which worked well on the stiffness of my body. Relaxing Station in a fantastic local spa. My spouse and I came here over the holiday weekend and loved our experience. I specifically am a very early raiser so we came right when they opened. We actually misjudged the short drive and ended up grabbing a quick snack at the local donut shop before they unlocked their door (that's a plus side in my book). We were greeted immediately and were asked what services we wanted. We opted for 1 hr foot massages. We paid in advance, we had cash but they do accept major credit cards if needed but note that there are slight differences in price to account for credit card processing fees etc they need to pay. After we paid we were escorted inside to their main room that has multiple chairs/beds. You remain dressed for a foot massage as expected with multiple customers sharing the large space. They provided baskets for our belongs that are just placed next to you during the massage. Two lovely women came out with large containers of hot water to soak our feet and they draped us in towels and covered our eyes to block out the light for the most relaxing experience. While our feet soaked they started massaging our arms and shoulders. They do use a oil/lotion which I found to have no or a very light scent. They then proceed to our legs and feet which was amazing. I got goosebumps at one point because it felt so good and my masseuse even cracked my pinky toes, which as a person that loves to crack my fingers, felt great. After a while they asked us to turn over and lay face down,they provide a towel to cover the face hole in the chair. They ten proceeded to work on our neck, shoulders and back. Absolutely excellent experience and we can't wait to come back again. Additional notes: We were not asked for a tip, however we also are strong believers of tipping as it is the culture America has created. We did give our masseuses tips to show our appreciation for their specific time and attention, not the business. I will say, I agree that this is more of a no frills massage parlor. I found this place on yelp. I set an appointment and they were very accommodating. You pay an there is a waiting room. Then you walk into a big room with a lot of bed. I don't like that but based on the price I understand. They place a towel on your eyes so it's ok but you hear everything. I got a foot massage for $30. It's a full body massage with your clothes on. The guy was very firm. It does hurt at times but it really helped with my back pain. Overall if you're in pain or have knots definitely recommend this place. read more

Hands (lol) down the BEST. They can always fit us in, they have great hours, massage therapists are fantastic and their packages and prices are completely reasonable. I go here at least a few times a month, trying to get regular with weekly. They will accomodate what you want...tell them if the pressure is too hard, too light, they will adjust. And, they ask you periodically how you are and how the pressure is. People tend to complain about massage places because they don't speak up about what type of massage they want. I have tried maybe 3 other places and I always return to Relaxing Station. Other than their prices doubling since the pandemic, these masseus do excellent work. It doesn't matter if you have a foot massage or full body, you will leave feeling as if your entire body is healed or healing. The rooms and foot reflexology area are clean. I would prefer in the reflexology area if they did not chit chat so much/or maintained a soft whisper and poor front desk customer service (lol) but who cares when the massages are consistently well done! When I compare them to experiences I had, say in Walnut Creek or Pleasant Hill...even with the few complaints I have, they deserve a 5 star rating. read more

I've been going to relaxing station for about 10 years now. You can't beat the price. Even though they went up after the pandemic, it's still very much worth it. The foot massage includes a shortened version of a body massage. I go to Anna and she's great! You must communicate if you want the pressure light medium or hard. I get a 90 minute foot massage for $55. It's SOOOO worth it. Michael is good as well. I tip really well because they work hard, I like it medium-hard, and too many people are cheap tippers. I took the bag lady to get a foot massage today. Which she deserves very much so . I had made an appointment for 8pm. So we walk in a big room with stations for foot massages. No lie I thought I was going to walk into a room of massage chairs , like nail shops . It was dark but had dim lighting and some instrumental music playing (very relaxing). They came with buckets of hot water, we put our feet in buckets and laid back. They put towels over us and covered our eyes . All I know is Owen started massaging my head , I'm like go head and squeeze my brain out my ears . No it felt good you guys . Then Owen started making love to my hands good gracious. To sum it all up i got more than just a amazing foot massage, it was like the whole body. Just enough pressure and care was put into this massage . Guys you can't not beat 20 bucks for a awesome foot massage plus more, for 1 hour. Me and my daughter went out for spa day choose this space near by our home. We paid $40 cash a piece for a foot massage because we both didn't want to take off our clothes the whole time they both sniffed there nose and chuckled with a cough quite often. When they left out the room my daughter say mom are they sick I'm like I'm thinking the same. After the hour was up we proceeded to walk out and both massage therapist where waiting in lobby one a door making my daughter feel uncomfortable I then reached in my purse to pull out $10 and told the to split they stated more more ten ten he says I'm like I don't have any more cash and pulled out two more ones and said six six. Is it a place to go to relieve some tension and stretch some muscles? Yes, it is. For $20 you get what they call a foot massage for 60 minutes. It's definitely more than a foot massage. More like a fully clothed body massage. You enter a dimly lit room with several stations. I say stations because it's not massage tables and they are very low. There are other people being serviced all at the same time. The massage was very firm and well worth the money. I would go back for therapeutic reasons but definitely not for relaxation. read more
