I really appreciated her taking the time to walk me through everything. She also gave me a mini scalp massage while washing my hair and it felt amazing! I've actually never had a problem with her work, and have found myself coming back every single time. But the punctuality was definitely starting to get old now. The reason I'm giving a 1 star review, is because she over-processed my hair to the point where I've had to cut the length off by a lot now due to HORRIBLE breakage. I had an appointment with her in the morning, and she was 20 min late. I didn't mind this time, but I did tell her we needed to finish on time because I had work later on in the day. During the processing point, she took 2 walk in haircuts back to back. I started noticing time go by, and was concerned at how long I had the foil in my hair for. Mind you, I did tell her that I was on crunch time, as she kept getting sidetracked majority of the time, checking her phone a lot + the 2 walk ins. By the time she got to my hair, I was super super behind on time. I think she probably took over 45 min to check on my hair even though I told her I'm sure my hair was ready for the foils to be taken out. I reiterated to her that if she was going to take walk ins and be late to her booked appt, to have booked me for another time where she can really devote her time and effort, and not give a half effort. My hair as the days came, really felt like spaghetti. I literally cried cause I knew I was going to have to cut it due to severe damage. Went to another stylist to cut my hair and they told me I had to cut off a lot, and that my hair was in a super fragile state that needed deep treatment. I love Cindy but due to the horrible time management and lack of efforts in our last few appointments, I sadly don't think I'll be returning back, in fear of damaging my hair again to the point of no fixing.

All I wanted was a haircut because it's been maybe two years since my last cut? Sent her a few photos. She ended up having a cancellation so I got in a day earlier which worked out perfectly because I was available. I was greeted and Tori was super cool, sweet and chill. I had cut my son's hair into an intentional mullet about a year ago, and more recently had gotten way too confident in my abilities and had completely screwed it up. I was trying to find a stylist who was comfortable cutting kids hair as well as with curly hair, and who could fix my mistakes. They called me back to let me know Kellie was willing to take on the challenge and fit me in for today (Friday)! The salon is super cute and clean, I'd walked by recently and noticed the Kevin Murphy in the window as I use it and love it. Everyone inside was very welcoming and kind. I walked thru what I was hoping to achieve with Kellie and she got to work! I'd cut his hair too short and too blunt, which was killing his curls and making it get way too frizzy too easily. My son sat on my lap cause he was feeling shy and clingy, but she was able to accommodate. He sat very still so we were able to chat while she cut, which was nice! She buzzed the sides a bit, texturized his hair, added layers, and evened out the length of his bangs and hair. In the end, it's exactly what I was hoping for! His hair is now back to life, and it was very reasonably priced imo. I will most definitely be back next time he needs a cut, rather than trying to do it myself :) thank you!
