I had my hair cut. I showed her what I wanted and she talked me out of part of it and gave me a haircut that was nothing like I wanted. It was so bad that people laughed at me. I had to wait a year before I could get my hair long enough to cut. Also, the cash only policy should be advertised. Thank God I had cash, but I had to go into Safeway to pull it out with a transaction fee. I think this practice is an avoid income tax. Shady. read more

Devon is amazing. I got highlights and a cut. She does a great job along with being friendly and professional.

It was my first experience and last. Lisa was harsh to my hair. she pulled then constantly and heart my skull while she was cutting them. I haven't seen a hairstylist like hair. It was worse when she was blowdry my hair she was pulling my hair with the brush without any caustion. I won't go there and not recommend her, I don't know the others. read more

Trying to find a salon with a good stylist is so dang hard to find!! My daughter (8) and I were in desperate need of a hair cut and quite frankly I was tired of going to super cuts and a few other salons. Upon calling multiple shops whom did not answer when I called tangled on a Saturday at 2 pm the wonderful Heidi answered the phone. I asked if they had anything for today and she at first said no, and when I asked about Sunday she said we could come today ( Saturday) at 4:45. She stated She would stay for us. Upon getting there she was finishing up with another client. Heidi is so friendly and kind, my daughter told her what she wanted snd got exactly that. A wonderful hair cut she's literally never had a better one. She even curled her hair. I am a bit more picky about my hair because I've had stylists not listen to me and I end up disliking my hair for the next few weeks. Heidi was absolutely amazing she listened to what I wanted and took off just enough and was very particular about my bangs for me it was so nice to have such great customer service, and for her to stay a little later for us was so appreciated. Had two experiences here first was decent with Lisa, my last one with Heidi was the WORST ever experience at a hair salon. She kept banging the hair clipper against my head. I had an appointment with Lisa for 2:30. At 2:06 she called me to ask if I would mind coming in at 3:00 instead. I told her no problem. I arrived at 2:55 and she was washing a customer's hair. At 3:05 she told me she just had to trim her customer's hair. I said 10 more minutes and she said yes. At 3:20 Lisa and her customer were nowhere in sight so I left. Carissa is amazing! I legit came to her looking a hot mess, the day before my Celebration of Marriage. Over the last couple years I have significantly started to gray (in front no less!), and quiet frankly, I have put taking care of my hair on the back burner. Just haven't made it a priority. I told Carissa I didn't care what she did with my hair, I just needed it to blend (hide) my grays, and it needs to be easy to maintain. Kimberly S, thank you for your response to my negative review. However, when I went to the front desk to say I was leaving, why did the woman at the desk look outside and tell me that Heidi should be back momentarily. If she was with a client, Heidi could have come to me, let me know she was behind and I would gladly waited. I overheard lots of conversations between the stylists that were not with a client, but still no one said anything to me. Two young children were sitting at the front desk eating or something, someone came and brought water to the coffee area but not one person said anything to me or acknowledged that I was sitting there, not even a hello. Maybe some of your stylist's need to work on their customer greeting and service. read more

Heidi was the first person my 12 year daughter liked that have cut her long very thick hair. A month ago, I made an appointment for the first time. Heidi was our assigned stylist and she did a great job at trimming 5 inches off of my daughter's hair. In the past years my daughter usually get bad experience with all the hair pulling and taking a long time sitting in the chair. But Heidi was very nice and good with kids. I went to Tangles Salon for the first time and had my hair cut by Deanna for the first time. The salon was very clean, modern and had lots of natural light. The shopping center Tangles Salon is located in was very easy to find and had plenty of parking. I showed Deanna a picture of a hair cut I wanted, we talked about how I normally style my hair and how I didn't want it too short so I can still pull it back when needed. Deanna was very professional, friendly and easy to talk to. It took just over an hour for Deanna to cut and style my hair, the time seemed to go by fast. I am very happy with how it turned out, I got several complements from people that saw me the same day I got my hair cut by Deanna. I got a facial from Toni and is amazingly relaxing! She is extremely professional and took the time to educate me about my skin and how to keep it looking young and fresh as my wedding date quickly approaches. She was very straightforward when it came to treatment plans as I am getting married in less than 30 days, which is great as I would hate to leave with a bright red face from a peel. I was a fan, but my last appointment (which took over 4 hours and cost over $450 - Brazilian blowout, base color & highlights) was a big disappointment. I shared that I lift red very easily. My base color ended up being very brassy and there were way too many light blonde highlights around my face. I called right away to request help to correct it and I was told that I should just try curling my hair instead and that I'd probably like it better???!!! I shared this would not make it better and could I please get the color fixed. 'She', the hair stylist, said she would call me right back on when she could fit me in. She never called me back. Honestly as a new client I am a little disappointed. I called and made a same day appointment, which was fantastic and the receptionist was very nice. I told her that I was looking for a haircut with some layers and asked for a quote. The receptionist gave me a quote of $50-$60 depending on how much I was cutting. Honestly I thought that was a bit steep, but I was fine with it. I showed up for my appointment and got my haircut with layers. I didn't get much cut off maybe around 2". Don't get me wrong I was happy with my haircut and it looks really nice, but I was shocked when my hairdresser told me it was $75 (before tip) for the cut. I was not expecting this at all because it was $15 over the estimate I was given. Then I asked if I could pay by credit card and she told me that they only accept cash or venmo. Luckily I had venmo since I don't carry cash. I think it would be a nice courtesy to inform your clients (especially new clients) when they book that you don't accept credit cards. This could potentially cause issues and an uncomfortable situation for people that don't carry cash with them or have a smart phone. I felt very uncomfortable leaving and I won't be coming back. read more
