I was looking for a new hairstylist since mines changed careers. So I went on yelp, google and instagram and somehow found this cute little studio. Contacted Tori via instagram and asked if she is taking any clients at this time which she was so the next available shot she had, I booked with her right away. All I wanted was a haircut because it's been maybe two years since my last cut? Sent her a few photos. She ended up having a cancellation so I got in a day earlier which worked out perfectly because I was available. I was greeted and Tori was super cool, sweet and chill. I told her what I wanted and she did her magic. I loved the haircut! It was simple, not too short but super cute. My hair felt healthier and softer, ugh. I just love it. I will come back! long overdue. i started with tasha longggg ago when she was with a previous salon. lost track of her for some time and found her again through IG. so glad to be back with her. tasha is very laid back, listens to what you want and importantly delivers. i'm super low maintenance. i just show her a few pics and she just does what she does. sometimes our schedules just won't line up and at one point i let someone else color my hair. nice effort but i was unhappy lmao. tasha fixed me right up as soon as i was able to let some time pass and schedule an appt with her to fix it. happy again. thx tasha!! read more

I had a terrible experience at another salon months before. I struggled with finding a salon until I kept seeing Tori tagged in a post I made looking for a local salon. Like superwoman, Tori came to rescue my hair. Here were the issues; cover greys, brighten, pop in color. The biggest problem was the other salon I went to prior threw on this yellow blond on top. While my mid length hair to ends had an ash blonde. When I put my hair up or in a bun it looked like ash hair against this yellow top. I hated it. I have a lot of hair- thick and curly. The bad salon I went to kept complaining to me about how much hair and how difficult it is. I totally get it, I have to live with it.... Tori took her time with me, looked at colors (I'm REALLY bad with picking out colors). She made some recommendations and away she went! Never once complaining, she seemed so caring and genuine. In just a couple of hours and good conversation, like magic my hair looked completely different! I left looking amazing and feeling even better. My hair is incredibly soft. I can not recommend Tori and this salon enough. Amazing color work (I also saw the other stylist so another client and her work was spot on). This place is located in the Vanity Suites just off of Central. It's on the second floor in J. Look for the animal vet suite and it's right above. Tori has earned a fan! Thank you SO much! read more

Cannot say enough great things about Olive & Sage and especially Tori! It had been about a year, if not longer, since I had gotten a hair cut. I was super nervous because my hair is my favorite feature about myself. But I decided it was time, went on a Google search, and found Olive & Sage and man, am I grateful I did! Tori brought my hair, especially my waves, back to life! She was positive, upbeat, and answered all of my questions about proper hair care. I got six inches cut off as that was where the dead/split ends started, and she offered to work with and cut less because six inches is a fair amount, but I opted for the six inches. I appreciated the offer a ton, though! We added layers and thinned my hair out a bit, and it feels and looks so much lighter, softer, and healthier and best of all - my waves are staying put! Super cute salon! Tori is amazing with color, she took my very dark brown hair to almost platinum and it was silky and soft!

I just found out these ladies have a Yelp page so I immediately had to leave my review! I apologize in advance for the length, but I want to make it clear just how magical they are!! I honestly don't even know where to start. I went to Ulta salon about a year prior to finding O&S and the stylist there absolutely DESTROYED my hair. I mean it was literally falling out in clumps, was multiple colors when I left, etc. I was devastated because my hair had taken so much damage, I couldn't do anything to fix even the color alone. I let my hair grow out and maybe 7 months later went on the hunt (again) for a new stylist. I came across another small business that I was wanting to try (especially over big corporations!) and the experience just in communication was so awful, I never even made it to the salon in person. Now enter Instagram ads!! I am usually freaked out by how much they know LOL but Olive & Sage came up and I figured nothing could be worse than what I'd already gone through, so I sent a DM. One of the ladies quickly replied to my questions and was able to set me up for a same day consultation with Lexi to make sure my hair was in a decent enough place that it could handle being worked on. Literally since their first DM to me, everything has been incredible. Lexi thoroughly went through the details of what we would be doing to get my hair back to a good place and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. She brought my hair back to life and gave it a nice lived in look that would be low maintenance (exactly what I asked for!) and would give my hair time to grow out some more between sessions. Another reviewer (my sister!) mentioned that there was no uncomfortable silence, which I definitely second! I'm naturally a quiet person and small talk doesn't do much for me, but Lexi was totally fine with that. I didn't feel pressured to maintain any sort of conversation which is honestly so nice and removed the stress I normally feel when in similar situations. Aside from being absolutely delightful stylists, the salon itself is super cute. It's nicely decorated, very clean and well kept. It's a smaller salon so you don't have to deal with all of the chaotic loudness that comes with the bigger salons. All around, just an absolutely great place. I am forever grateful to Lexi for her talent!! One last thing- shout out to Tori, who didn't do my hair but DID sell me some super cute candles from her candle shop (not sure if I'm allowed to plug that but ya'll are really multitalented bad bishes!) TLDR; the salon is beautiful, every one of the stylists is super talented. Best salon experience I've ever had 10/10 would recommend! read more

I reached out online and was thankfully able to get an appointment with Lexi! The day of, she made it a point to know more about my daily hair routine and explained what she had in mind before cutting anything. She also recommended products to use specifically for my hair and gave tips on how to manage and style it. Lexi has exceeded any other hair stylist I've gone to and I'm recommending her entire salon to everyone I know from now on. I've been searching for a new stylist and have tried a few and always left unhappy. My sister recently went to olive and sage and totally raved about Lexi and told me I should give her a shot.. I did. I literally could not even put into words how happy I am with my hair!! My hair was so grown out, straggly, and just totally dead. Lexi brought so much life back into my hair and offered tons of suggestions! We chopped a good amount off and it just feels so nice and healthy! She nailed my inspo picture!! I'm just so so happy and am glad I went for it. On top of being a great stylist Lexi is also just the sweetest. She kept light conversation and didn't make me feel weird for being quiet.
