***HORRIBLE*** I tried to go to Forum Nail Studio, including a REQUESTED return visit from the Nail tech Theresa after she saw one of my reviews. She has poor customer service and is unprofessional. Yesterday Theresa saw my second review on another site and started text messaging me. (Got my number to schedule and appt.) I only wish I could post the stuff she was saying. It was foul and offensive, telling me to get a life because I wrote a review she didn t like. Then she said I was unprofessional and started cussing at me. All her text are on the verge of a harassment charge. Below are the to post I wrote on the other site: Review 7/8/13: Ok, so I went back to this salon against my better judgment because the nail tech who originally did my nails read my previous review and contacted me to give her another chance. She also requested that I write another review; she shouldn t have done that. Well, I am writing the review like I told her I would. NEVER Go To The Young Asian Nail Tech at this salon if you go here at all. I spoke with the owner Amy as I was leaving and informed her of all of the issue that took place again and informed her that I would be writing another review. She requested that I do not use the young nail techs name since, she was going to take care of everything. I am honoring her wish. The owner redid my nails and Kim, another tech, gave me the pedicure as a way of saying sorry for what the other tech did. Below are the issues that occurred with the original nail tech on my revisit: - Nail Tech Rushed Again - Unprofessional - Requested my nails to be thin and she made them thick again. - Painted my nails and put on a design different than what I asked for so I asked her to remove it and she huffed at me. - When she was removing the polish she left some on and when I asked her to take it all the way off she said that she didn t need to because the new polish will cover it. It DIDN T. - The polish under the overcoat started to pucker and the nail tech yelled at me What did you do? in FRONT of other customers. (I didn t do anything but keep my nails under the light like she requested). - Rude - Didn t have time for my pedicure again. Please, shop around for other salons and if you have to go here do not go to Theresa. 6/12/13 I have gone to this salon multiple times now and multiple issues each time: 1. The first time I went everything seemed good but I had to go back the following day (2nd visit) for her to fix the design she put on my nails. 2. Nail tech Theresa had to fix her mistake on the design 3. The first fill in (3rd visit) went okay. Nails were not good but not bad, just okay. 4. At the 4th visit is when things went really downhill. The Nail tech did what she wanted and not what I asked for and requested I return because she didn t have time for my pedi. 5. I was extremely unhappy with the whole situation, but I went back on Saturday (5th visit) for my pedicure and had her fix my nails. a. When I got there at 9:30 like she requested, she did a rush job because someone else walked in. She did fixed my nails but asked me to return later for the pedi again. As I got in sat in my car she ran and banged on my window so she could call herself from my phone so she could call me when she had time to do my pedicure. 6. I went in and told her I wanted a full set and asked her questions regarding gel vs. acrylic and she seemed to get flustered and upset. Then she CUT my nails. She put both acrylic and gel on my nails. There was a line of people and she asked if I would come back tomorrow for my pedicure. She rushed through my nails again which was really annoying. I told her that she will need to fix my nails as well because they are not straight, to fat, and not what I wanted. 7. Went back and she didn t fix them, they looked HORRIBLE so I have gone elsewhere. read more

I have gone to Forum Nail Studio 9 times and every visit was great. Theresa and Kim typically did my nails and they do a great job each time. When I walked into the salon, it was very cool. The atmosphere is very inviting and the decorations are modern and the music was nice as well. My nails tend to lift after a couple weeks of no maintenance. But, ever since I had Theresa do my nails, the acrylics does not lift anymore. Before she did anything, Theresa made sure she asked what I wanted and followed my instructions. The second time I went in, it was on a Saturday, so they were quite busy. I didn't have an appointment, so I wasn't expecting much. One of the girls, I forgot her name now, came up to greet me and said that it would be another 15 minutes before they can get to me. I thought, that's fine, I'll just try to read some of my emails while I wait. About 5 minutes in, the same girl offered me a bottle water, which was nice of her. Other places I have gone never offered refreshments. About 10 minutes in, the same girl escorted me to my seat and said that someone will be with you shortly. I was sitting on their nice comfy massage chair and soaking my feet in the spa. The chairs looked very new and clean. Kim came and did my pedicure. She was an nice little lady, kept asking if I was comfortable or needed anything.Its nice that all the ladies here spoke English and were friendly. The last time I went to Forum was last week, I had to get my mani and pedi done for a wedding. I made an appointment at 9:30AM since that was the time they opened. When I walked in, they had already a couple people waiting. Theresa came to greet me and gave me a perfect mani and pedi. I had compliments on my nails from everyone at the wedding. I've brought my mom and sisters here with me a couple times and they loved it as well. read more

i love this place! very modern, chic, clean and affordable. very reasonably priced. they have some of the most talented nail artists i have seen in a long time! personally, i see teresa, and wouldn't see anyone else. she is so cute, and funny, and extremely talented! i come in sometimes and need to study while i'm supposed to be relaxing, and teresa and the other technicians always always always make sure i'm comfortable and have whatever i need! i'm constantly bringing her in pictures of often outrageous nail designs i find on pinterest, and she makes them happen lol! i have a couple of girlfriends that see Amy too and love her! this studio was recommended to me by those couple of girlfriends and i'm so glad i listened! read more

After visiting lots of nail salons in the Florence area I can say without a doubt in my opinion that Forum is by far the best. The service was great..the atmosphere relaxing and my nails look and feel amazing. The towels were clean and neatly arranged with an added touch of fresh orchids..very nice. Everything is so chic and well presented, I would give 10 stars if they were up there :) Make a visit and you'll see what I mean..as someone who has been having her nails done for the past 16 years, I think I'm a good judge. Forum Nail Studio is probably the best one around! I used to go to Spa Nails until my friend brought me with her to Forum and I will never go anywhere else! I enjoy the techs, especially Teresa! I specifically make my appointments with her. I rarely go to anyone but her. She talks to you and asks about your life. She takes her time and you can tell she enjoys what she does. I typically get crazy designs with my acrylic nails and she is great! I just tell her to surprise me and I have NEVER been disappointed! I have referred many people to Forum and I will not go elsewhere. GREAT PLACE :) read more

I''ve been going to this salon for about 1 1/2 years since they opened and I have referred a lot of friends. None of us have EVER had a problem with any of the girls there. Teresa is the only one that I see and she has always done a great job on my nails or she makes it right!!!! I love this salon and I now drive 20 mins out of the way to go to see her. So some people just harder to please then others that's part of working with the PUBLIC!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I have been going to Forum for a couple months now and I've NEVER been unsatisfied. I've have 3 different nail techs do my nails and I've been happy with the results and that's including Theresa. Theresa takes her time and she keeps the conversation going. She has always made me feel welcomed. Warning! New owner! What was once the best salon in town is now the worst. Do yourself a favor and pick any other place but this one.
