I was visiting my in-laws and randomly walked in Friday afternoon and was greeted immediately. They were super friendly and happy to be of service. My technician had been doing nails for over 11 years! I could tell by his efficiency and attention to detail. I'm not gonna lie, my first impression of this salon was kinda weird. I asked for a price list and they said we don't have an official one, we're still brainstorming? I didn't know if that meant that they were new or if they were in the process of changing their prices or what but I was kinda skeptical. I ended up staying and overall I'm glad I did! The salon is clean, spacious, all staff wears masks, and they have installed clear barriers at each station for added safety. I got a full set with SNS ($45) and a gel pedicure ($48). That's slightly more than I've paid at various other salons for the same thing. I've seen it cost a lot more too, though, so I'd consider their prices pretty fair. The girl who did my full set was quick and efficient and gave me what I asked for. The guy who did my pedicure was AWESOME! He was so thorough and did a great job! I'm not sure if I've ever had a more satisfying and enjoyable pedicure! There are only 2 not so amazing things to mention- 1. They don't honor the 10% off check in offer, which was what tipped the scale for me when I was choosing this salon and one other closeby, so that was a bit disappointing. They said they've tried to take it off, but it hasn't worked. 2. There are a few black specs in my SNS and she said that had been happening recently with several colors so idk? This place opened at 10am on Saturdays. My sister and I arrived and walked in with the staff. I thought everything was going great until I asked the nail tech who was doing my sister nails if she could do mine. At that time 4 or 5 people had signed in behind us. Only 1 had an appointment. The tech stated she had an appointment but will design my nails and a co worker would do the full set. My sister is finished now getting her nails done, and everyone else is sitting in chairs. So disappointed! I just had my nails done here. I had high hopes based on the good reviews. The owner did my nails and rushed through them. They look so sloppy. My one nail needed a tip because the natural nail broke and she kept filing it crooked, even after I asked her the fix it. It was shorter than the rest of my nails! She ended up having to replace the tip but only after arguing with me that I should just leave the one nail short! When the rest of them are longer and a completely different shape!? She truly did not give a care what my nails looked like. She just wanted to rush through them as quickly as possible to get to the next customers. I could tell because she was going so fast and kept looking up at the people in the waiting area. Anyway, she filed it crooked again and it this time is was way longer and wider than the rest of my nails and when I asked her to fix it, she handed me the file and told me to shape it. A professional nail tech can't properly shape a nail and is making me do it myself? My nails, except for the one broken nail, were all the same length and she filed my right thumb nail way shorter than the others. And if all of that is not bad enough, she did a shimmer chrome top and the first nail she did had a blue shift. The one I chose had a rose tone shift to it. I told her that's not what I asked for and she switched to a pink tone shift chrome for the rest of my nails and wasn't gonna fix the blue one. I waited to see if she was gonna fix it and when she "finished" and hadn't corrected her mistake, I told her that one was different and needed to match the rest. She argued with me saying it changed colors when you move. Like I am an idiot and didn't see everything she did and used I my nails. Now that I've left the salon and can see my nails in natural light, I am so upset with how sloppy they look over all. I can't believe a professional who owns her own salon would do such a poor and rushed job. Why even take me as a client if you aren't gonna take the time to do a proper job and have an attitude with me when I politely ask you to correct your obvious mistakes? I've been here quite a few times, I've had good and bad experiences but this last experience was enough to solidify my never coming here again. I needed to take off my acrylic with tips and replace with dip powder on my natural nail. The girl gave me a hard time about not wanting long nails then proceeded to try and take off the tips by RIPPING THEM OFF. I stopped her and requested that she soak my nails before removing the tips. She complained about how acrylic is a real pain to deal with and blah blah blah. The whole time she was acting like she was too good to be doing my nails. Once she got the powder on she barely shaped them and did not buff them out, which makes them smooth and shiny. So my nails ended up uneven, bumpy with a rough texture, and eventually 2 days later began to chip near the cuticle because they weren't shaped correctly. I felt extremely rushed while 3 other customers waited for their manicures, and her being the only nail technician. Needless to say I am really disappointed. It was an uncomfortable experience and I'm truly considering buying my own equipment since I know I could do a better job than this. read more

I do NOT recommend Teresa. Had been to Forum in the past. Was undecided how I felt about the service. Went a few weeks ago and now I know to save my TIME and MONEY and NEVER go again. Teresa did my manicure... ha! Wanted manicure and gel. I had SNS on my nails, which were getting loose. Opposed to soaking them and taking the polish off in a humane manner, she used clippers and an acrylic to yank them off. It hurt and I told her so. It was quite barbaric. Asked what shape I wanted. Said oval. She said I couldn't have oval because my nails were too short then (AFTER she yanked the polish and my nails off). Quickly applied gel. I asked if she could clip around the cuticles (you know, part of a MANICURE!). She put a little oil on them and said, "You need to use oil." and let me know I was done. The pedicure was better. The guy was nice and did a good job. Teresa is either too lazy to do her job or does not know how (not comfortable using the cuticle clipper?). THAT was NOT a manicure, but still charged for it. too many salons out there for that kind of treatment (abuse) and then PAY FOR IT! read more

I took my elderly mother their for a gel manicure and a pedicure. What we got was jagged nails on her hands and feet that I had to come home and file and smooth and no gel polish on her fingernails. I guess I should be happy they put a coat of regular clear polish on her nails. My pedicure is terrible. The polish job looks pitted and my right toe was bleeding from where they trimmed my nails. I am not one who gets salon manicures and/or pedicures very often, but I wanted to treat my sister to a mani/pedi for her birthday, and my 9 year old daughter joined us as well. We were very pleased with the services, and the staff was very friendly, helpful, and patient. The atmosphere is very nice as well, and we did not feel rushed or like we were on an assembly line. My only complaint is that I had called a few days ahead to see if they take appointments so that I could make sure that the three of us could get our services at the same time. I was told yes and was asked if 10:30 would work, to which I said yes. By the time I started my first service, my sister and daughter were 45 minutes into their services, manicures complete and pedicures started. I understand that they have walk ins and don't want to have techs sitting idle, so this is only a minor complaint but worth mentioning that they don't seem to actually take appointments like I was told. I think they took someone ahead of me because I was still browsing colors, but if they would have asked, I would have made a decision so I could get started and be with my sister and daughter. I went here for a pedicure. The place was very clean, open, and relaxing. It didn't have the smell that I've come to expect when walking into a nail salon. The people were friendly and quickly escorted me to a pedicure station. The chair was wonderful with a built in massager. The nail technician was very nice (although not very chatty, I don't think English was her primary language). It was a nice space with relaxing music. Just went here for the first time. Walked in with my daughter and requested a gel manicure for me and paint for her. We were seated with Teresa immediately. She was so friendly! I flew into town for a wedding and didn't have time to get my nails done before I got here with my usual person in Florida. Forum Nail Studio is the only nail salon around Florence that does the dip powder nail polish (1000x better than gel polish--no chipping, no peeling, & stays on until you take it off). I was relieved to be able to get my usual powder polish service and also decided to get a pedicure. I came at the right time and had no wait, the Salon was clean, and I was placed in Theresa's chair. She was very kind and had a bubbly personality and wasted no time getting down to business. My pedicure was great and she gave an excellent and lengthy foot rub, which lets face it, that's the biggest reason we go to get pedicures! After we finished we headed over to her manicure station where I explained I had broken not only my polish, but had literally cracked my natural nail in half earlier that morning loading my suitcase into my car. It was in a lot of pain and she took great care of not hurting it any further. I was in and out in less than an hour and a half and left very happy. I would definitely recommend anyone go see Theresa at Forum Nail Studio! When I come back in town, I will be coming back to see her. read more

I've been a customer since Forum opened. I am an every two week manicure/pedicure drop in customer. The friendly staff always greet me when I enter and let me know the wait. If the wait is long I can run errands and come back. All the staff provide equal service at an acceptable price and I love the massage chairs! read more
