The only reasons why it's not a 5 is because their colors for no-chip manicures were pretty limited. There was a baby sleeping in a playpen and another on an iPad, but neither was loud or in the way, so that didn't bother me at all. This isn't a fancy experience, so don't expect any glasses of wine or champagne or any other "extras." Just a good mani/pedi. :)

She over scrubbed the side of my toe which was not callused leaving it raw & oozing. She looked at it & laughed while saying sorry. This pic is 2 days later and it is still painful. Also unsure what product was used on the below average massage but it literally burned my skin. It was not the normal exfoliating scrub as used in the past. After this poor job, one of the men sat down to add gel polish. Clearly, this woman is new and not worth my $65 + $10 tip to practice on. I feel I should have been given a choice of someone without experience or one of the regulars. I rate them a 4-5 before this visit & recommended them to friends. After this visit and damaging the skin on my toe and burning my legs, I don't plan to return. But I was given a giant band-aid to cover the broken raw oozing skin .. on the search for a new pedicure spot!

Once she filed off the remaining polish, we saw how POORLY these were done. All the edges were peeling up and air bubbles. I ended up needing an entirely new set. Every single nail was in salvageable. After three weeks. So disappointing. Changing my review to 0. ------- I recently moved back to town and am looking for my "home" nail salon. I walked in Elegant at 10:40am on a Tuesday and was seen before 11am. I got an acrylic full-set with regular polish. The good: I loved that I was seen within 15 minutes of arriving. They had a HUGE selection of polish colors. The whole process took about an hour including sitting under the dryer and waiting, which is great! I think overall he did a good job and my nails don't have any obvious mistake. The not so good: I was not greeted when I came in at all. I had to find my way to the sign-in sheet and just sit. There wasn't many pleasantries--no conversation or small talk. They chatted a lot and were super friendly with the "regulars" but even when I tried to chat it wasn't well received. The worst part was that he was pretty rough with my hands and fingers. I guess he was trying to go quickly but it was even painful at times. I understand that some maneuverability is required but in all my years getting manicures I've never experienced anything like this. It was a lot of twisting my joints to get fingernails and better angles and weird wrist twisting to get to my thumbs. i have hypermobilty in my joints and even I felt discomfort. Another reviewer mentioned the roughness as well so maybe this is just something when they're in a rush. The bad didn't totally outweigh the good so I'll likely return for my fill-in unless I find something better. It's possible it was just a bad day, especially considering the other positive reviews and his clean and nice work.

We arrived and were greeted quickly, asked our names and to choose a color. We were quickly ushered to seats next to each other. It is a large salon with many nail techs and plenty of room for the 10 or so customers already there. Nathan and Tom were gentle and detailed, asking things we'd prefer, if we were going on a trip somewhere and just general conversation. They offered explained cutting or not cutting certain nails to keep them even with others, and did a great job. We were offered to sit in the massage chairs to let our nails dry for awhile, so we could enjoy the massagers. Great idea! Overall very pleasant experience. Quiet, relaxing and great price!
