I went for a (natural nail) dip set as a walk in, and did not wait long. As other reviews mentioned, the studio was not updated and modern, but they seemed clean and I was not concerned about the cleanliness at any point. The nail tech was not super talkative to me, but I came straight from work and personally enjoy a quiet nail session where I can just relax. She also showed me a few different variations of the dip color I picked which I thought was super helpful (like painted it on a fake nail, light cured and everything.) My dip nails were $45 and they have held up nice. Will be back. read more

I was searching for a cheap manicure and I found it. This salon is poorly lit and looks like it has never been updated..ever. The nail tech sat down and immediately started filing my nails, never asking what length or shape I wanted. She spoke to her coworkers continuously in a foreign language. I paid $23. I really wanted to like this place after a coworkers recommendation but I am beyond disappointed. One thing lead to another. It started when I asked for dip powder & tips. The woman told me it would look prettier without tips, even though I insisted I wanted tips. Then I asked for a French ombré to which I was told my nails were too short to do. (After I'd just asked for tips). Then she proceeded to do a French tip with the wrong color natural pink (after a coworker pointed it out to her, she kept doing it). Then switched after the first layer.. They are extremely thick, bubbly, bumpy & uneven. I will not be back here. She didn't ask me what shape nail I wanted, continued to file my nails down, and did not remove any of the excess skin around my nails. My middle finger on my right hand looks like a toe nail. read more

I would recommend going to another nail salon. The customer service is not that great. The woman that did my nails the last couple of times was very rough when buffing my nails and kept telling me to relax. Then she nicked my skin with her grinding tool and didn't even apologize. There was no attempt at conversation. I found another place that is amazing and cares about their customers. I won't be back to this place. read more

I have been going to Fancy Nails for a couple years now, and I love it! Jenny is fantastic!!! She's helped me out when I've had catastrophic breakage (not her fault, totally mine), and squeezed me in for repairs. My nails always look amazing, and the price is right! me and my friends came here for the first time and the male who did my nails didn't do what i wanted and did not smooth down the acrylic very well. the acrylic isn't all the way to the cuticle. the nails are bumpy and the shape isn't right. the lady my friend has kept pulling on her arm and just being over all aggressive. the acrylic is very thick, they barely filed down any of it. they are all different shapes. do not recommend. read more

Sadly I had a terrible experience here today. Very friendly staff but the quality of both my manicure and pedicure was horrific. The only good nail tech is the main woman (Jenny). Any of the male techs are awful. I have to get a new manicure and pedicure now. read more

I went for a SNS, I don't know the guys name that did my nails, but he was very rude. He was using the tools , the one takes the polish off, and it felt like he burnt both of my index fingers. I jumped both times and he acted like it was my fault. Then after putting on the colored powder he just gets up and walks away with no explanation. Comes back a few minutes later and says did you turn off the dryer I said no it wasn't on, again he got annoyed. I don't know if I'll go back if I do I don't want him going my nails read more

I have been here several times for a pedicure - they always do a great job. I have an ingrown nail that they always handle well. Wonderful job on painting, etc. The chairs and facilities and clean and luxurious - get a massage from chair while getting pedicure done. Highly recommend. read more

Super friendly, highly skilled. They make appointments & take walk-ins. Accept cards but bring cash for tips (they have an ATM if you forget). I live in Union & drive past countless nail salons to come here every 2-3 weeks. read more

This was my first time here for a pedicure and I wasn't impressed! The chairs were very old and extremely uncomfortable. The employees did not make you feel welcome. There weren't many options of paint color and the water wasn't very warm. When I went to pay, it wasn't until after he swiped my card that I was informed that they can't accept tips on card, so you're supposed to bring cash.......you probably should have had a sign up stating this so that new clients know. Overall, I do not recommend this place and suggest going to Spa Nails on Mall Road!!! read more

I've been going to fancy nails for years. They do a nice pedicure. However I'm frequently talked into the shellac for my nails which never lasts more than five days. I've never gone in and had them redone even though they guaranteed me they would do them over if they didn't last two weeks. I had one time it lasted more than two weeks and I was ticked. So the next time, when it lasted two days, I went back to get them redone. I was berated for "you pick your nails" I was treated so rudely I will never go back here. I spent too much money at this place over the years to be treated like that. read more

This was my first time at this place! I was visiting my sister here in Kentucky on my way to Myrtle beach and we decided to stop and get a pedicure! Staff isn't all that friendly and the cost was a bit high I thought! Plus the pedicure over all really wasn't very pleasanteven for a non spa like place,I felt like they were rushing even though they weren't busy! I stopped in for a fill-in acrylic. It cost $18 They were moderately busy but I only waited for 15 min. I had an older lady that was very fast but not too careful with my nails. Aside from the occasional nick to my actual finger, my nails actually look good and very natural. The atmosphere was clean and friendly. I wish she would have slowed down when I was pointing out that she was hurting me but I'm not sure she understood what I meant. I will probably keep searching for my forever nail salon. read more
