This was my first mani/pedi experience in Cincinnati and it was enjoyable. The pedicure was one of the best I've had for a fair price. The only reasons why it's not a 5 is because their colors for no-chip manicures were pretty limited. There was a baby sleeping in a playpen and another on an iPad, but neither was loud or in the way, so that didn't bother me at all. This isn't a fancy experience, so don't expect any glasses of wine or champagne or any other "extras." Just a good mani/pedi. :) read more

This became my go to place until two days ago when I this lady did my spa pedicure. She didn't use clippers - only filed so nails aren't shaped nicely. She over scrubbed the side of my toe which was not callused leaving it raw & oozing. She looked at it & laughed while saying sorry. This pic is 2 days later and it is still painful. Also unsure what product was used on the below average massage but it literally burned my skin. It was not the normal exfoliating scrub as used in the past. After this poor job, one of the men sat down to add gel polish. Clearly, this woman is new and not worth my $65 + $10 tip to practice on. I feel I should have been given a choice of someone without experience or one of the regulars. I rate them a 4-5 before this visit & recommended them to friends. After this visit and damaging the skin on my toe and burning my legs, I don't plan to return. But I was given a giant band-aid to cover the broken raw oozing skin .. on the search for a new pedicure spot! read more

Everything looked unsanitary inside, and I think the person who did my pedicure was not licensed, and it seemed like it was his literal first day on the job. He had no clue what he was doing yet they charged me full price while they proctored him. I could have done a better job myself! read more

My first visit to this salon because I wasn't satisfied with the salon I had been using. Everyone was nice and the work on my nails was just okay. I had one nail with fungus under it but the woman just painted over it. She said it would grow out as my nail grew. The other issue is the shop itself. Everything was old and the place was filthy. I probably won't be going back. read more

Sophia is amazing as is the rest of the staff!! I have been to numerous places and this place is far superior!!

I went in for the first time in the Amelia location, I asked for a full set with gel polish. The man who did mine didnt hardly speak english so that was hard but he sanded my skin down all around my nails to were i was bleeding, the nail liquid he put on almost had me in tears bc my fingers were on fire. Then he attempted to put on the nails. Theyre BAD! Theyre uneven, crooked , hardly no acrylic. I just wanted to go bc tgere was no fixing them w/o soaking them off and my fingers needed to heal first. I had two people trying tionfux the bad bqd mistakes. So im really sure the manager saw tgem bc he helped. then cgarfed me 50$ NEVER AGAIN!!!!! read more

went in to get 3 sets for my wedding. They didn't like the colors so told me an ombre look with turquoise and black could not be done. So I asked for turquoise with black tips like a French manicure, again refused me. Their page says $60 a set. I was charged $252, with a discount for paying cash (5%) it was $240. I had settled for only because it was an appointment I scheduled late in the day the day previous to my wedding.... read more

Im rating 5 stars for the customer service and quality of service. I am so grateful and glad that I decided to stop in. Usually I am a diy girl but its my birthday week and I felt like giving myself a break. I was pleasantly greeted and patiently helped with all my questions as I was a first time client. Jack did the most relaxing spa pedicure Ive ever had. The quality of work and care was far beyond what I expected. Lyn was also very friendly and kind along with everyone else who made sure I was attended to from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left. The ambiance was very relaxing, quiet, cozy and felt like home. I truly appreciated the quietness. I will definitely return again soon! Far beyond what I ever expected or experienced any place else, especially in todays times. read more

So here's the detailed honest review you are looking for, online it says that they open at 9:00am but didn't open until about 9:15am, I got right in. They are super friendly and welcoming! They started with my gel pedicure, the water was a little cool. But he paid attention to detail and gave a good massage! The pedicure chairs weren't working all that great, but some buttons did work. My paint on my toes was well, and attention to detail was there. Next was my dip set with tips. I really loved the color selection for dip. He did a really good job. Only thing was that I thought my nail shape looked a little goofy, so I went home and filed them a little bit. I could have picked the wrong shape, I just thought they needed more shaping. Overall it was a good experience and will be back! read more

I called for any last minute availability for my sister and I to come in and get an existing dip powder set removed and then have a new dip powder set applied for each of us. They were able to have us walk in within that hour! Plus they did an amazing job! Very nice people and great pricing as well. 100% will be my new go to nail spot. Highly recommend! I actually didn't make it there because the online hours are not consistent. This was way before any changes due to the holidays. Not happy in any way. I was going to be in the hospital for a few days & all I wanted before going in was a pedi. So my pedi was pooti. Not taking a chance with them again. I have been there once before & put so much polish on. It looked like a elementary art project gone bad. Way bad. read more

I love this nail salon. They do amazing pedicures as well as acrylics! I am always happy with how they do my French tips :)

I went to Glitzy Nails last week with a bridal party. We called in advance and were told they would accommodate our group of 7, and they did. However - one of the girls in our group had just gotten a fresh set of acrylics done a few weeks back at another salon. When she arrived she asked for a fill in. After getting her pedicure they moved her over to do her "fill in" but took off all her old acrylics and just told her it was their policy.. Long story short they wanted to charge $70 for a fill in that went wrong on their end. When she asked for them to make it right considering we brought in hundreds of dollars of business they refused. They tried to send her out the door with the half placed acrylics on her hands. They were still telling her it was her fault and being extremely rude 10 min later while removing her set. WILL NOT RETURN AND DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND. Customer Service is a solid -10. read more

I'm from out of town and found this place via Yelp! I went in on a Saturday morning and was taken right away. Mani/pedi was $40 and was wonderful. I believe Jimmy did my feet. I just got a regular pedicure and the massage was amazing. Never had that long of a massage with just a regular pedicure. I think he spent 10 min on each leg/foot!!! Zac did my nails and was super friendly and great to talk with! He made sure my nails were just the way I wanted them!!! Just for future visitors, they do charge $5 to take off old gel/shellac nail polish (I didn't mind this though since I hate doing it myself)! I would definitely recommend and will be back!! read more

This nail salon has become my go-to over the last year. The prices are comparable to any other salons in Cincinnati & I find theirs are a bit cheaper. I got a pedicure today and I must say it's one of the best i've ever had. The massage was so nice & the attention to detail was impressive. This salon is family owned too which is awesome. The line can back up sometimes, so it's worth it to call ahhh as and check on the wait time. I highly recommend glitzy nails!! read more

Extremely limited color choices. Not very many polishes and even less shellac choices. He painted the shellac on so thin, it's about the thickness of regular nail polish. One of my nails just broke, only 4 days later. There are bumps under the shellac from where he didn't buff my nail well enough. The owner's kids were there playing. Granted, they were well behaved but we all know kids have good days and bad days. I won't be back here. The two male nail techs sitting next to each other were having their own conversation in a different language while I was just sitting next there awkwardly. If you have a business, you should probably try to interact with your customer, not talk about them and laugh. It doesn't matter what language it's in, I know when someone is talking about me. They were talking about my color choice, so I confronted them about it. It wasn't necessarily a pretty color, but it was the only gold they had. They said yes, that shellac doesn't lay very well. It's bubbly. Ok then, why haven't you thrown it away? They picked me out a rose gold color instead. It's ok, but not what I wanted. Just really frustrated they didn't have more choices. I'm sorry- once again-that I didn't just go to G-Spa in Florence. read more

i came here last week to get a full set of acrylic nails. the color selection wasnt too impressive but i got some that i liked and sat down. ive been getting my nails done for years and the process this place used was very rushed and not good quality. i asked for a coffin shape and they didnt know what it was, i was given chunky, square nails. they were so lumpy and uneven and crooked. within an hour, one of my nails chipped near the cuticle bc it was so over my nail onto my skin. one hand was shorter than the other and also much wider than the other???? within two days, one popped off. it has now been five days and today, three more POPPED OFF. literally not even doing anything. i took the rest of the nails off without any effort. this was by far the worst set I have ever gotten in my entire life. I wish i could go back in time and not go here. I would've loved to save my money. read more

My boyfriends mother and I went here for the first time today to get gel polish on our finger nails . I had called a few days in advance to make an appointment at noon. When we walked in I immediately noticed they actually didn't write down appointments. They were not expecting us in anyway and they only had two workers present along with three other customers present. After informing them we made an appointment the male nail technician did immediately sit us down and started helping us making other customers wait. (Which was nice for us but crappy for the other customers..) They initially tried to seat us at two separate tables away from one another, but after asking to sit together they did accommodate for us. We ended up having one technician between the two of us. He seemed to take his time and did a good job shaping the nails and cutting the cuticles. However, my gel nails started to bubble and he just put clear coat over it and finished it up as usual. The finished nail feels somewhat smooth but you can see visible waves of the gel polish. Overall, it was an okay experience. Probably wouldn't go back. Update: On one finger the gel polish started to detach from my nail and the polish is chipping off on the tip of my nail bed. This happened 2 days after getting my nails done. Pretty sucky... read more

Glitzy Nails - Two days after gel polish and it's chipping and detaching from the nail bed. - Nail Salons Near Me - Crescent Springs, Kentucky

This place absolutely sucks! My friend and I were visiting, and after reading the rave reviews on here, we decided to stop. What a mistake!! Not only were they talking about us the entire time (because of the English words tossed in the mix) but they had ABSOLUTELY no clue on what they were doing. Worst set of nails I ever had in my life, and I've had them done all over the country as well as in Europe. I would never ever recommend this place. I wish I could give it zero stars. read more

This place is a travesty and there are better choices in the very close vicinity. They did NOT do my nails, and folks, I am not fussy. But the place was a disaster. Old sofa with ratty afghan, no other place to sit, nail polish bottles very old and gunky. Even counter to sign in which I did, was sad. I listened to my gut and left. If this is what I can actually see, I cannot imagine what I can't. I went to The Nail Spa (usually go to the other salon by Remke which is standard) which was night and day. read more

Second time here and just as impressed as the first time. Price is super reasonable for a pedi. $35 regular or $40 for the spa upgrade. Very worth the extra $5 for what seems like an eternity of extra massage time. The woman in there, who I believe is the owner, is so pleasant. Made me an appointment over the phone to make sure I wouldnt have to wait. Also, I happened to have my 4 year old with me and they set him up in a massage chair next to me with a snack and made me feel not terrible for having to bring him with me. Whenever I do get a moment to treat myself to a pedi, it will always be here! read more

Ok I am visiting from Orlando and my Wife and I decide we should get pedicures. We Yelp it and this place comes up as 4.5 stars. We said Wow!! Gotta be good. So we take an Uber over there and we walk inside to our disappointment. This place looks like what I envision a nail salon in the 70s. It smelled like steam rice. To put the icing on the cake they have a playpen, carriage and tricycle where they take care of a toddler. On the positive the pedicure was good, prices are reasonable and massage was pretty awesome ! if I had no other choice, I would use this place again. They will certainly would not make it in Orlando with the appearance alone. read more

Concur - I love this place!! Friendly, never crowded, always do a great job. I don't know why they aren't more crowded! The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is they don't always have a ton of OPI, which is better quality than some of the other cheaper polishes they carry, and they sometimes have no radio on so it's quiet. But that could be a good thing! Again, love it!! read more

I just left from getting a fill from same person who did my full set a few weeks ago. I'm VERY disappointed that several nails are uneven and shorter than the same on the other hand. First time here, and the last. Asked for a manicure and a full set. Tried to remind the woman I asked for a manicure as she was gluing on a full set, and she was on the phone with her ear bud and was not talking to me. Had a picture of exactly what I wanted. I went there today and I got there around 4, me my mom and my sister got there at 4 to get 2 acrylic sets and gel paint. We thought it wasnt going to take that long, they took my sister first did her nails then my mom. There is about a 30 minute wait in between, it took them almost 2 hours to get my nails even started. More people came in after me and got their nails done before me even though I had already been waiting for more than an hour just to get mine done. read more
