I'm giving this two stars for the designs because they were cute and well done. They messed my toe up and just painted over it. My gel nail polish on my finger nails did not last but a few days. We were at the nail spa for 3 hours. That would not let us make an appointment the day before. I called and asked prices over the phone but when I got to the store they actually made up prices. It was crazy. They charged my daughter $5 more just because she had each nail painted a different color. They did not give me a massage for my manicure. read more

Just answer the question! I'm a marathon runner and every summer, my family and I visit my sister who lives in the Cincinnati area for an extended visit. (This visit usually coincides with my daughter's visits to Cincinnati Children's, where she was treated for childhood cancer.) I'm ALWAYS looking for a runner friendly pedicure. Runners feet aren't cute. Gnarly calluses, janky toenails, but I can complete a 70 mile death race that I love to brag about completing, so even trade. For the last three years, I've posted on their Facebook page asking if they offer runner friendly pedicures. The first time, my facebook page was blocked from being able to comment. I just asked again a few days ago (via my sister's Facebook, since I've been blocked) and ignored. Hey, if you don't offer runner's friendly pedicures, that's okay. I've not really had much luck finding them (luckily I do have a great pedicurist in my hometown, but it's always so hard to get in to see her) and I get that not everyone runs marathons for fun. I really enjoyed my experience at G Spa Nails! I walked in around noon to get old gel polish removed and for a new gel manicure with a holiday design on my ring fingers! I was in and out by 1 pm, so that's pretty good for a busy time of the day. They have a huge range of polishes, dips, and gels to choose from. The manicurist was nice and very detail oriented, making my nails look even and perfect! Prices here are competitive with other salons. Finally, they have a lot of bath and body works lotions at the front counter for you to use before you leave for one last bit of moisture for your hands and cuticles, which is a nice touch! Very frustrated with the experience here. This salon was recommended so I expected it to be a fairly good place. I made an appointment for 2:00 p.m. several days prior and showed up ten minutes early as directed. I then waited for 45 minutes before they finally got around to me. I understand it was busy, and if the service had been satisfactory, then it would have been worth it. However, the service itself was actually terrible. First and foremost, the nail tech completely tore apart my cuticles so much that there was blood dripping down my fingers. She brushed the matter off and told me to go wash my hands, then put a base coat on - but the cuts were of course still there so blood ended up caking underneath the polish. And even after having destroyed my cuticles and cut them away, she still painted onto my skin and didn't clean around my nail at all, entirely defeating the purpose of tearing away my cuticles. To top it off, as I was looking at my thumbnail later after I left, I noticed a piece of hair underneath the top coat, stuck inside the polish itself - how does someone not notice a piece of hair in the polish when they're painting a nail...? It was all together just rushed, messy, and unprofessional. The polish is already peeling and cracked literally 3 hours later, and my skin is dried out. I'm definitely never going back. read more

The service I received was fine. My niece got a manicure and pedicure and I had a pedicure. The tech was quick and efficient, which is pretty much how I like my pedicures. BUT the music playing in the salon is completely inappropriate! It's absolutely filthy... during several songs every other word was "f" this and "b*tch" and worse! It was a horrible choice and the salon owners should have changed the channel immediately... there were at least 3 children in the salon. But even if there were NO children, I don't want to hear this kind of misogynistic "music". I can't recommend this place based on this factor alone. read more

G Spa is the best nail salon in the tristate! (That I have been to) I can say that as I have lived in all 3 states and have been to Many different salons. Other salons are dirty, do not sanitize their tools, have no music (or if they do have music it is elevator music), no TV (or if they do, it is a 2000 old box TV playing the news or something else not relaxing). G Spa is very different; current popular music is always playing, the TV is always on something entertaining with closed caption so you can know what is going on if you want to zone out on the TV and not the music. Now for the nails, Anne and Vinny are always on point! Making sure your nails are exactly what you want and are happy before you leave. Anne can do any design you want; her artistry skills amaze me everytime. If you want a special design you have to wait but it is worth the wait, trust me! They will chat with you, laugh and cut up like you are old friends. I had been going to the same nail salon for years and didn't want to "cheat" on them, even though GSpa came highly recommended by all my friends and neighbors. Clean environment & very relaxing! They have updated the look inside and have more staff now and it has helped out so much. I've come to this location before about a year ago and got good service on my mani/pedi but the environment was very dark and dingy. Today when I went in for a mani and my fiancé got a pedi the space had new flooring and all of the papers that used to be all over the walls has been taken down and replaced with new pictures. All of the tools used on both of us were sterile and our techs were very nice. They have amazing massage chairs along with clean tanks for pedis. They have comfortable cushioned chairs for mani area. They offer shellac, gel, and SNS. They offer cat eye, ombré, mermaid, and holographic as well. I would definitely recommend this place and will return! read more

This place was recommended and I was excited to go because of all the good reviews I saw. I waited 45 minutes before Anne finally started my nails. What really made this great is that she had me remove my own polish while she finished another customer's nails. That's CRAZY!!! When asked how I wanted my nails shaped I showed Anne a picture I saw on their FB page. She was the tech that has actually done them. Rather than telling me she couldn't shape my nails in the same way before she starts she waits until afterwards to tell me my real nails are too long to look the way I want. When I told her my left hand was more narrow and boxy than I wanted she tried the right hand and did no better. She then goes on about how the tips can't be made wider because I had a fill rather than a full set put on. Mind you I was about to pay $28 for a simple acrylic fill with basic nail color, no special designs or anything. All I needed was a cut down. I noticed how short she was with a few other customers but she was beyond rude when I said I was unhappy with the shaping. I now have to find someone to fix what Anne so rudely messed up. read more

I got the gel nails as I always do which went fairly quickly but not everyone can do the cute designs you see in pictures. so you get put in to line to wait with every other girl waiting for the Pinterest picture she wants painted on. The experience over all was okay. But it was just that, okay. Nothing that blows you away, I felt like it was over hyped for what it was. The inside of the place isn't that cute, it felt kind of cramped but overall looks like any other nail salon. My nails were being done by what they referred too as a "fill in" and Anne took notice that my nails were not being done to her expectations. I have to say that I had a terrible experience at your salon around Dec 10th. Can't remember the exact date. Everyone was so nice except for the man doing my nails. He was the only man working. The rest of the nail techs were women. He had a grouchy attitude from the start, I don't know his name but he is small and has an almost shaved or almost bald head. I asked him for recommendations on Christmas nails and I was very excited to get a Christmas look. That's the only reason I even came to GSpa, because I saw your Christmas nail pictures on Facebook. He said red, nothing special. That's the only recommendation he gave me. I picked a red color and he put more of a pink color on me after I told him the powder looked pink. So after he tried it on a nail of course it looked pink. He told me to go pick another color. I went up front and told the lady I'd like to leave and pay for him taking my polish off. I was very nice about it. She asked him how much it would cost and he yelled that I could just leave. He said it multiple times and was very rude. He kept talking and saying things. Honestly I'm super glad that I did not have him finish my nails and sit through that experience, but he was rude and it was embarrassing while I was trying to be polite and nice. He had a terrible personality and was just awful. I will never come back and I will never recommend your salon to anyone else. So the next day I went to Pretty Spa Nails in Hebron and Danny did my nails, and they ended up RED and beautiful. I will always go to Pretty Spa Nails in Hebron from now on. I got my nails done by Vinny on February 4th and by the 15th 4 nails had fallen off. I went in that day to get them fixed and Vinny proceeded to patronize me and blame me for the nails falling off. I let this slide and sat down so they could fix and fill in my nails. Now, let it be known that I've had my nails done many times here (never by Vinny or Anne) and NEVER had a problem, beautiful nails for weeks. But that day was different; First off, I wanted a black base and a simple design (that have done before) and instead of black I got dark blue. Second, the whole time I'm getting my nails done they are STILL talking shit about how it was my fault my nails feel off. Third, when jt came time for Anne to do my design she proceeded to try and talk me out of doing the design THEY HAVE DONE BEFORE WITHOUT A PROBLEM. so by this point i was done being treated like a child so said forget it and got up and left. This all happened on Friday February 16, it's now February 18 and my nails shellac is already peeling off. Great work guys. My first experience here was a friday which means customer traffic. I waited about 10 minutes to only be sat on a chair for a pedicure feeling like 20 minutes. Cold weather, bare feet and no hot to warm water didn't mix. Luckily I had a book to distract me from my freezing feet in the cold air. When I finally was given water it was cold!! I had to ask for hot water it only got warm and didn't last for long. Cash out time came... $55!!!! $55!!!!! For a pedicure!!! Seriously!!! My in-grown nail didn't even get clipped out!! I'm from California and have never NEVER paid so much for solely a pedicure! I do not consider the service I received worthy of $55. I had the money to pay yet I was very dissatisfied with what I was being charged for. My fullset with gel, nail design, and with long length didn't even cost me $55 (Didn't get them done here). I had a wedding to go to so I was desperate for a pedicure. I won't be coming back to this abstraction over priced place. I'll take my business elsewhere where I can get my dollars worth. read more

My daughter gave me a gift certificate for a pedicure at G Spa for Mothers' Day. We got pedicures together for my son's wedding. This was my very first pedicure ever. I did enjoy it. A couple weeks later, I removed the nail polish, which was very difficult, and both of my big toe nails were loose from the nail bed and discolored. I contacted the spa and they are trying to tell me it is not their fault. This is their response to me: "Sorry to see your toe nail situation. From looking at the photos, there's many reason that the toe nail separated like this. It have nothing to do with our pedicure. We use disposable liners and sterilize our tools as a precautions. We are also careful at not causing any knicks or cut to your cuticles. There are many reason that can cause your toe nails to separate for example: Medications, eating habit, dieting, wearing tight shoes, leaving toe nails over grown, hormone changes, stubbing your toe nails, injury to the nail bed, moist built up and etc. A lot of time we seen new customers with the toe nails like this even before we service their pedicure. Theres nothing we can do to prevent your toe nails from doing this. If you look up on the web and google toe nails separation it's very common but the causes are different for everyone. It will fully explains more details and prevention. Hope you have a better day. Thank you for your time." This was the first pedicure I have ever had (I am 59) and the first time I ever had my toenails polished! My nails were in perfect shape before they worked on me. Now, I am left to wait for the nails to fall off of BOTH of my big toes! They won't even respond to me. If I could give no stars I would. These people offered no solution or any help whatsoever.
