Both were very hot, fresh, and tasty. Next up were the entrees: Kung pao chicken and added brown rice for 1.00 and Mongolian beef with white rice. Both entrees were large and very tasty. Service was excellent with plenty of indoor seating and it appeared that there was plenty outdoor as well. So we grabbed the menu to reread it to make sure I hadn't accidentally made a mistake and lo and behold there was no mention of Krab in the Crunchy roll description. Well about less than a minute later the door to the patio swings wide open aggressively and an older blonde woman comes up to our table with my order that I sent back and slams it on the table and says who's order is this??? It startled us to say the least! It was so aggressive and she was so rude. I said I sent it back, I can't have imitation krab. She said then why did you order it?? I said what do you mean, Why did I order it?? I said because your menu doesn't make mention of Krab in the description of this roll so I ordered it. I understand that people have bad days, but why would you come to a customer's table and chew them out because they have to return an item that they are allergic to. The people that were with me who witnessed this whole scene all encouraged me to write this review. The two women I was with got the wrong sushi rolls as well, but we were afraid to say anything. I lunched with a friend and shared two things: -moo shu chicken ($13.95) -salt & pepper tofu ($13.95) I've never had moo shu anything before and I am now a moo shu fan 4ever. Apparently the version here come pre-wrapped, but I didn't mind since I was a first timer. The wrapper functions a lot like a tortilla, but much more delicate. I like the mixture of chicken, wood ear mushrooms and cabbage maybe? Textually it's crunchy and I like that in the soft wrapper. The salt & pepper tofu is sautéed with jalapeños which give it a nice kick. It's not your classic version of the this dish because the tofu is cubed into bite sized pieces and tastes a little more peanut-y than salt and pepper-y, but I didn't mind it. It was great over white rice. L V is perfect for a quick Chinese fix. Lunch specials are just a bonus.
