Jim Arata (Store Manager) provided OUTSTANDING service…read more Some words that come to mind are: Professional, Customer Oriented, Knowledgeable, and very Helpful . The Delivery folks who installed the Washer were equally OUTSTANDING. They meticulously removed the old Washer and proceeded to install the new washer. Before leaving, they insured and left the Laundry room was cleanliness. Definitely, Jim Arata and others are Ambassadors for Bray and Scarff.

Parts came in after not having a washer for two weeks. He puts the parts in and still doesn't work. So now we will be waiting again for parts and hope they can fix this. Here's the problem with Bray and Scarf. Good luck with anyone picking up the phone at the service department. If they do answer they are less than helpful. I called the store several times in Sterling and asked for the manager to call me. Still has not called. They take no ownership in their products they sell. I think Bray and Scarf used to have a good reputation years ago. But that's clearly over. I will never buy anything from this company again. Sadly you get better service at the big box chains. Update: The repair technician came to my house, and the parts he brought did not fix the machine. GE advises ordering additional parts. I called Centricity, the warranty company (All warranty claims go here). They told me that Bray and Scarf have not yet sent them the request for repairs. This is 4 days later. Additionally, the technician informed us that Bray and Sacrf do not determine when they reach a decision on whether the machine is unrepairable. However, Centricity told me that it is the technician from Bray and Scarf who makes that determination. So clearly, no one wants to accept any responsibility So, I called the service department, and again, I could not get through to anyone. Waited on hold several times, then was disconnected. So I called the corporate number, and the receptionist told me that they are "checking the lines." I assume she meant there is a technical issue. However, this has been my experience over the past several weeks: no one in the service department answers the phone. Also, the manager from the Sterling VA store has not returned my call.

    7/23/25 We were referred to Neka Granite by family and…read moreinitially excited to work with them. But our experience was a nightmare. We chose a rare Ijen Blue Quartzite slab--half light, half dark--and clearly communicated (in person, by text, and with a visit to their showroom) that we wanted the light portion at the front sink area and dark in the back. They agreed multiple times. Installation day came, and the layout was completely reversed. They had cut the slab incorrectly, and no one warned us. When we paused the install, we were blamed for not buying a $450 rendering. Yet no one told us this was required to ensure our layout was followed. When we voiced concern, the regional manager, BK, called and was shockingly unprofessional, telling me to calm down, saying our job was "just one slab," and implying our project was too small to matter. He refused to take responsibility and repeatedly said they "did nothing wrong." He also said that they would have cut it anyway they determined was right and it didn't matter if we did the rendering. Being gaslit, told my project was small, and changing the orientation of the beautiful quartzite was beyond the pale. The way they cut the stone did change how we had planned our kitchen to look. For a $10,000 job on a $2,800 slab, this was beyond disappointing. We allowed the install just to get them out of our home. I've worked with contractors nationwide, and this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

Selecting the company to do the granite for our new kitchen was no exception. I read the reviews and decided to give a NEKA a chance. There were numerous decisions to make in doing a kitchen remodel and my husband and I have made some mistakes but selecting NEKA was not one of them. They were terrific and were there for us from the beginning to end. I don't know how many phone calls I've made to them but there were many and they were always available, patient and answered every single question. Thank you NEKA for a job well done! My husband and I enjoyed working with you and if we ever decide to do this again, we'll first have our head examined but then we'll call you :) You get our recommendation!!!!!
