Raw salmon in the salad. Cold inside, very much not cooked
Ethan S.

I think the pictures speak for themselves. The salmon salad was literally a raw filet. I asked politely to send it back. The same piece of salmon was cooked longer, with no replacement of the meager greens from the salad that had been in contact with raw fish. Pizza would have otherwise been acceptable but it was far too charred/burned for my liking. Not only was this whole experience distasteful but I left concerned that I would be sick from the food. A few hours after I'm doing fine, but would caution against this place or at the very least order something completely different.

The pizza is pretty good the only thing I didn't like it was the veggie spaghetti nothing special for a restaurant meal. Prices are good

Uncooked pizza. High prices. Missing ingredients. Overworked waitress. Nasty sarcastic owner or manager. Sure I fuss they are new so when he came around and asked how things were, let him know that. Then we got the comment other than that how did you enjoy the play. He did offer to take pizza we had eaten off of and put it back in the oven. Told us they didn't serve cheese in a shaker because it was a health department thing - and putting served food back in the pizza oven is okay? Where were the pizza toppings. Margarita pizza had a few little pieces of diced tomato on top. I felt Cheated.

Friends picked up pizza from here to bring to the pool today and it was the best thin crust simple pizza I've had in a long time!

I didn't imagine it would be such a struggle to find proper deli rye bread in the Atlanta area, but…read moreit was. I live in Grant Park and checked quite a few markets, no deli rye. So, I headed to the large Toco Hills Shopping Center, which is at the center of the local Jewish community and checked out both the Publix and Kroger, which have large kosher sections. I found no rye bread at all. Goldberg's Deli had rye bread loaves available, but they were frozen. I thought that was questionable. Luckily, I drove by the tiny Kosher Gourmet market. They happened to be cutting a loaf when I arrived. They also had halvah and Ba-Tampte Mustard, primo deli mustard, which I found nowhere else. I will most definitely return.

We had a family celebration in Louisville GA on Sunday. Possibly the only kosher event ever held…read morethere! When I called to place the order it was made very clear to me that I could have whatever I wanted, just say the word. So we got two meat and roasted vegetable pinwheel sandwich trays, a tray of fruit and another of cookies. Also large bowls of cole slaw, potato salad and Israeli salad. I called back a few minutes later and asked for a small carton of egg salad since I am gluten free. The gentleman called me back and said, "You think we'll let everyone else eat, but not you? I'll make gluten free pinwheels for you!" Awesome!! We picked up the food on Friday and took it to Thomas Jefferson Academy where we were dedicating a science lab to our grandmother and our parents. Today I asked my great nephew if he approved of the leftovers. "Well, they're all gone, so I guess so!" Thank you Kosher Gourmet for making our family event a stunning success!

We were in Atlanta visiting family, who keep kosher, and scheduled a birthday dinner at Fuego…read moreMundo. I've only been in kosher restaurants a few times - and they were delis. However, I kept kosher when I raised my children, so I'm no stranger to observance. We started off with an order of the Fuego Animal Fries for the table. French fries topped with brisket, red onions, green chiles and queso sauce. The appetizer was excellent! See the attached picture, which tells a thousand words! The brisket was lean and tender, and braised perfectly. The red onions were sautéed and added such depth with the cheese and chiles! Next up, the Fried Cauliflower; crisp florets with a horseradish-roasted garlic aioli. The cauliflower was fried with a crispy, flavorful breading, and was tender inside. The horseradish sauce was very good and I dipped every bite. The last appetizer, the Southwest Rolls, fell short of expectations - most people didn't finish theirs. It's not that it had a 'bad taste', but the texture inside was really strange. It tasted sandy, or powdery to me - not what you would expect from a roll stuffed with brisket, black beans, corn and peppers. Maybe the beans were the reason; whatever, the recipe needs serious adjustment. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries for my main course. I was trying to decide between the brisket sandwich or the fried chicken sandwich-after the brisket and fries appetizer, I almost went with the brisket, but decided last minute to go with the 'Schnitzel Sandwich', as it's called. We all know what the term 'schnitzel' means when it comes to meats - pounding it down to about a 1/4 inch thick, breading and frying. In this dish, the chicken is pounded and fried - I was surprised to see, not one schnitzel, but two in my sandwich - see attached picture. It was a tasty chicken sandwich - it was tender - but, since it's so thin, it wasn't juicy - but, wasn't dry either. I prefer a large piece of meat when having fried chicken, but it was fine. Overall, I enjoyed the lunch at Fuego. If I return, I'm definitely trying the brisket sandwich!

As a person who is dairy-free, I was excited to go to Fuego. The service and how the restaurant…read moreoperated disappointed me. I almost walked out before service began. On our way , we called twice to ask a question about gluten-free menu options. Both times the phone rang until the call disconnected. We walked in at 6:42. We stood by the "wait to be seated" sign. They have no host, and we were a foot away from a table dining. After we got there, a party arrived and were seated after talking to a manager/whoever ran the expo. I understand they probably called ahead or set it up, but at some point, guests need to be noticed - not just the ones who know the staff. Around 6:53 someone finally acknowledged us, but they just asked how many there were (2) and walked away. At 6:57 we sat after getting the attention of a different person, but not until after a table for two that hadn't been cleared but was empty since before we arrived was slowly cleaned. Once we were seated, we were not greeted until 7:05 - 8 minutes after sitting down. We had questions about allergies and the server seemed unsure of the menu. I found out that for the wings, you can't split sauces. Our server told us we could get a side of a second sauce. This was his idea, and we were surprised to be charged for it. No mention of an upcharge. Also - this sauce did not arrive until later. At 7:13, we placed our order. No alcohol or drinks were ordered. We had noted that we wanted to start with the wings as an appetizer. The wings arrived at the table at 7:22. The spicy sauce (that we were charged for) was not with the food. The wings were fine. The ranch was great. Entrees hit the table at 7:26. We'd hardly had a moment to eat the wings before everything was on the table. The burger and sandwich were fine. For the Fuego burger being $33 dollars, we expected a larger portion size or something more special about it, but it was just a burger. The BBQ Brisket Sandwich was also fine, but didn't feel worth $26 dollars. Both of our meals were good, but not good enough to justify the prices or lack of service. Throughout the dinner, we noticed our server took better care of other tables. I don't know if it's because we didn't buy alcohol (again, overpriced) or were only 2 people, but we felt like a second thought the entire time. For a place at this price point, we expected better. There are no sections for the servers in the building, so they have tables all over the restaurant, making it easier to forget a table. I think this is a symptom of how the restaurant is run. Our server didn't check on us until 7:34 which was when we got much needed water refills and the extra sauce that hadn't come. At 7:44 we finished eating. At 7:47 our server checked in and we asked for a box. At 7:48 he dropped the check and a box and said he would be right back to pick it up; he just had to clear a table for new guests. Our table wasn't cleared of the empty dishes. After waiting 11 minutes with the check and dirty table, a different staff member picked up the card at 7:59. She came back a minute later and we had to sign the check on a tablet she held. It asked if we wanted to leave a tip, but there was already a 20% service charge on the receipt. It's on the menu and website, but it feels scammy to not disclose this to guests upon payment and to have a "would you like to leave a tip" while an employee is holding the screen. Our meal, 10 wings (the upcharge sauce), the fuego burger, and the brisket sandwich, cost us $102 all said and done. I hope this was a fluke, but we will not be returning. At this price point, guests should be able to feel like they are being taken care of. Throughout the movement at dinner service, guest left and their tables weren't bussed or cleaned, and if they were, trash was left. We saw a lot of people around the restaurant receive better service and more attention. I work in fine dining myself and have a lot of empathy for being busy or understaffed, but I've never had a dining experience that truly made me feel like I was being taken advantage of.

The food, the service, the ambiance are all fantastic. I was torn between shawarma and lamb shank - the staff recommended the lamb shank, which I'm happy about. It was fall off the bone tender. They could have gone heavier on the spices but they give you sauce (tahini and garlic mayo-ish). The bread was amazing too... fresh, fluffy and warm. The food came out super quick. There's plenty of seating - it's a large space with many booths and tables. The decor is lovely. I wish they were playing some Arabic music to round off the experience. There's ample parking in the lot. If you're wondering if the restaurant is Palestinian - it is. I asked the staff lol. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu before I leave Marietta.

!!!!What a horrible and disgusting service. Horrible customer service and they give your food away…read moreto other clients!!! I placed two orders over a week ago. I get an email late last week saying that my order is going to be ready for pick up on a date but fails to provide the date. I called yesterday at 11:52 am to confirm when I can pick up. The lady on the phone said my order was in fact ready for today but because of very bizarre business hours (7-2) I asked if I can pick up on Wednesday morning instead. She said yes no problem. Today I get a phone call (1:20pm) and I called back a few minutes later (1:23pm) as I was in between patients. The lady on the phone, KAYLA, told me that my order was incomplete and had out of stock items. I whispered back, as I was in the clinic, saying I'm confused why my order was complete yesterday but not today. I followed up by saying as a customer it is concerning to me that it seems like my food is being given to other priority clients. KAYLA responded "I do not know" and I said well that's not reassuring to hear as a client. Typically, if a client is skeptical of this grave practice, they would be reassured that the ethics and values of this company does not practice this. However, it was not denied. KAYLA seemed frazzled and said I just got your paper and I said I can't be on the phone anymore please email me with update. I asked if I can still show up tomorrow for pickup and she said yes. I specifically said thank you and have a good day. Six minutes later I get a missed call with a disgustingly toned voicemail (attached below) saying "... let me just say this I do not appreciate you being rude or insulting Any one of my stuff that will not work with us...". I also receive an email regarding the out of stock items. I respond to the email as I was in clinic saying the situation and how I simply had a question and concern that my items were being given to other priority clients. I explained how I was not being rude or never ever insulted someone. I couldn't even raise my voice as I was whispering. I never even complained about the actual items being out of stock. I am appalled that I even received such voicemail. Then, instead of apologizing or offering any type of customer support, PETER was implying that he was able to hear my conversation. Which great!! Because I truly am confused since I was not rude nor insulting anyone. Additionally, how is peter able to hear my conversation if I was whispering? He also apologizes "if that is the case" that someone said my order was ready for pickup today. Why if that is the case? Why are you questioning the client??? Regardless, the concerning part is that he doesn't even apologize to me for leaving such email AND DOESNT EVEN DENY OR ADDRESS MY CONCERN OF THEM GIVING AWAY MY FOOD TO OTHER CLIENTS!! I am still waiting for an apology and for a clarification on this. But I guess no answer is an answers and confirmation that they do. I then respond to their email confirming the substitution and that I will be there tomorrow morning as planned and as per the confirmation via phone today. Then I get a response saying not to come pickup tomorrow until confirmed??? They're truly a mess and don't know what they're saying on the phone and what they're emailing either. Side note, their website advertises that they deliver to my zip code. When asked over the phone and in person, they say no?? They have disgusting customer service and to be honest it's sooooo sketchy and weird place. It's a warehouse you have to go pick up at in the middle of no where. No thank you!! Taking my business elsewhere!! Peter- per your email, if you really appreciated my business is this how you respond or treat a customer? Especially a new one?? Attached below are the proof of the emails and voicemails. Shame that a Jewish facility practices this way.

There was a sign right at the door that says something like, just walk right in. I would say this place is a fast casual restaurant. Not a lot of diners when we came on Friday night but had tons of take out orders. As we were seated, water and menu were dropped off at our table. I didn't get a chance to look at the full menu but felt rushed to order. Luckily, I had already looked at the menu before arriving. I ordered the spritz with a fruity twist (forgot what it was called but if you like aperol spritz, then this is for you) and my husband, a Paloma. We ordered a trio dip with charred baba ganoush, feta, and cauliflower that was served with some fresh pita bread. This was a great start to our meal and wanted more. I ordered the eggplant bowl with both lettuce and rice. Yall, the fries that were served must have been fried twice because it was crispy and saucy. Would definitely get this again, plus it was super filling. My husband ordered the falafel bowl with lettuce, and he did enjoy this as well. My only gripe is that the "bowl" is more of a platter? Food was certainly delicious and drinks were good. I like going to a restaurant that anticipates your needs, but this didn't do it for me. Our water was empty for awhile and we didn't get offered any until we were heading out. But nevertheless, this is a great spot for yummy food on the beltline.
