Roll, Caesar Salad, Fettuccine pasta with funghi mushrooms, cream, and Parmesan sauce + salmon
Kyja W.

I worked an overnight last night/this morning, so by the time I got up, it was dinnertime. I called to place a takeout and the associate was helpful and friendly. When I got to the restaurant, it was just a few minutes of a wait until my bag was ready. The staff were all welcoming and polite, and the ambiance was casual and comfortable. There weren't many people inside since they had just opened about a half hour prior, but there were a couple people at the bar. Prices look low, but increase exponentially after add-ons. For my appetizer, I got a half order of Caesar salad ($7). You have the option to add a protein, but I kept it as is. The lettuce was crisp and fresh, the Parmesan and croutons were a classic touch, and it was sprinkled with cracked pepper. The dressing was heavy on the anchovy taste, which was fine for me because I like anchovies, but I wanted to include that as a heads up for those who don't have a taste for it. For my entrée, I got the Fettuccine pasta ($8) with funghi mushrooms, cream, and Parmesan sauce ($10) + salmon ($7) = $25. I could tell the noodles were house made, which was nice! The sauce wasn't very flavorful but was perfect once I added some garlic powder, crushed red pepper, and a dash of salt at home. The salmon was decently moist and flaky which was nice! My meal also came with a complimentary roll which was soft on the inside with a nice crispy exterior crust. I enjoyed my meal over all and look forward to returning to try more dishes!

This pizza is amazing! The crust was really good. Also, the yeast rolls were great too. I loved it all. The service was awesome. We will be back for sure.

It was supposed to be Bolognese Lasagna... but there wasn't any meat!

I really wanted to love this place, especially considering it's in the parking lot of where I live. The first time I ate here, I had the Special and both owners were there Motley and Sarah and made me feel so welcome. I had the most amazing experience, I was thrilled to have found this neighborhood gem. But then a few days later, I ordered the Special to go and it was AWFUL! No flavor. Barely any sauce and the noodles were way undercooked. .. I decided I wouldn't order to go anymore. Then a few days later I went back and had the Lasagna. I thought i had ordered a meat Lasagna and there wasn't any meat in it. It was overkill of cheese and a bland marinara sauce. It was so gross...When the bartender checked on me, I said there's not any meat in here and he said it was a bolognese sauce not a meat Lasagna. And I said, well there wasn't any meat in the bolognese sauce. I was very unhappy. I got home and called the restaurant and asked for the owner and I talked to the owner Sarah. I wanted her to know how AWFUL the last two meals that I had gotten there were. I wanted to share it with her rather than write this review. And she told me Thank you for calling and bringing it to her attention and the next time that I came in, they would comp my meal. ... I just went in for dinner. Sarah acknowledged me, so she remembered who I was. Motley was also there....I had the Special. It was fantastic. Then I ordered the Gelato and it was disgusting! It was served to me all melted. Sarah and Motley walked outside where I was eating, because Sarah was leaving and saw that my dessert was gross. They asked how is it. And I said Not good. The waiter came back. I said I would take my check. They didn't comp my entree and they also charged me for the Gelato that I didn't eat! Monty walked up to my table and offered me Tiramisu and said he was going to comp the dessert but the waiter had already charged my card. I said that I hate Tiramisu that I don't like coffee and he and the waiter just walked back inside. As soon as I got in the parking lot, I decided to call and talk to Motley and tell him that I was very upset with the experience and not only did they not comp my entree they didn't comp the nasty dessert that I didn't eat....The girl who answered the phone told me that Motley wasn't there. I said to her. I just walked out the door, I'm in the parking lot, I know that he's there and I would like to talk to him. And she hung up on me.

I'm not a fan. I ordered the fettuccini chicken Alfredo. I like mine saucy and it fell short. Also, I usually can't eat all my pasta in one setting, but here, you can because the portion was small. My meal was $24 We also ordered.... I think it was grouper.... but it didn't seem right, like undercooked, so we sent it back. They stated it was cooked, but it wasn't similar to what I've had before. The pizza looked good, so maybe ill return only to try that.

I visited after they had just been open a few weeks. The bread and bean dip was amazing!! They make all their pasta in house. They have a cute window in the back where you can look into the kitchen and watch them make it. Full service bar with in door and out door seatings the service was also very friendly. I appreciated the staff so much!

Because it doesn't exist however, the security staff that was working there was super nice and it was an older gentleman who told me I in fact, could park directly outside the front door of the restaurant despite it saying no parking because that sign was simply up for the purposes of construction period So I took him for his word and I definitely parked right in front of the restaurant and luckily did not get towed or any tickets because he was right Now onto the food. Everything is freshly made on site from all the pastas to the desserts. And I have to say this was absolutely incredible. I have never had this type of artisanal approach to Italian food outside of Italy. This is the stop. Unfortunately, it was on a Friday where I was observing no meat so I did not order any dishes with meat, however, none of the dishes, disappointed in any way shape or form. We even ordered dessert and that just blew my mind because I do not like tiramisu, but this thing was delectable. And if I had room, I would've ordered another one. Our waitress Natividad was fantastic!! she was so kind and patient and very helpful with the menu. In fact, the kitchen had made a wrong dish out of all the dishes and sent it to us, but she intercepted realizing that it was wrong. I sent it back to the kitchen had them starting on the right dish, leaving only one person in our party waiting just a few more minutes for his plate to come out. The portions are very fair however they are not super generous. So if you are sharing and you really love what you're eating be careful because the person you share it with will probably love it just as much as you do and will eat more than you really want them to. I have to come back here when I come back to Atlanta. This is everything it lives up to be from all the previous reviews I have seen online and then some.

My boyfriend was running late, but he put in a special request that was fulfilled beautifully. He called ahead to say he'd be late and asked if they could start making a particular drink for me. When I arrived, they recognized me and confirmed that I wanted the drink he had requested on my behalf. I was amazed by their thoughtful service and couldn't believe they went out of their way like that. This experience was so wonderful that this spot has definitely become our go-to for Italian food in the city. The food here always impresses me. Although I've never been to Italy and can't compare it to authentic Italian cuisine, this restaurant feels comforting--almost like home. The pasta is freshly made in-house and cooked to perfection; every dish I've tried has been delicious and satisfying without being overwhelming. Despite the many popular Italian spots nearby, this place stands out for its amazing flavors and welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere. It's also an ideal spot for date nights, family gatherings, or girls' nights out. Additionally, they offer products for sale near the entrance, making it even more appealing. Also, we challenged our bartender to create a drink. We listed off favors, amoras, and alcohols we'd prefer. We listed off a few of our favorites, and the bartender absolutely dominated. The drink doesn't have a name, but my boyfriend requests it EVERYWHERE he goes and can't get it made properly anywhere else but at this location.

The whole experience is top notch. Service is perfect and I did not feel rushed to order. Instead, we were able to have a cocktail and peruse the menu. You must start with the pane! One may ask, what in the world is that! It is a rosemary focaccia with whipped ricotta. I believe we had 2 orders for our table of 4. I love a good dirty martini and theirs is awesome-preferably with blue cheese olives. Between the four of us, we went with the first 4 pasta's on the primi. My favorite had to be the bucatini. It is a super rich carbonara that is to die for! The agnolotti was a close second with short ribs and truffle butter. Again very rich! But in my opinion, an Italian meal should be rich. For dessert, we went with the ricotta cheesecake and the white chocolate bread pudding. Although the cheesecake was very light and airy, the bread pudding was next level. I would drive down to GA just to have a bite of this! Really look forward to stepping foot in Valenza next time in Brookhaven.

The Caesar Salad was good, but could have had slightly less dressing. I really enjoyed the Grilled Salmon as it was cooked perfectly to the requested temperature. The Roasted Garlic Broccoli and Spaghetti Aglio Olio were over cooked and too mushy or soft for my liking. I usually prefer my vegetables and my pasta to have more of a crunch or al dente bite to them, respectfully. The Rosa Spritz was surprisingly boozy, which I liked, so I could see myself ordering that again; and Victor, the bartender, provided good service as usual. Will be back soon!

Maggiano's - Buckhead (Atlanta)…read more Little Italy - From beginning to end your experience is one of belonging to Italian Family dinner table. Let me start this story from the beginning. As you pull up to the building, you have an option to Valet or self-park in the garage. (Validated Parking Available) If this is your first time coming, this location offers several businesses, "Corner Bakery," and "Maggiano's Little Italy." When you walk in, you discover a grand staircase and a friendly staff to assist you, to the right. As you proceed to your table, if you look immediately to the left, past the entrance, you'll see a beautiful bar to get a drink. As we were seated a server attendant to us promptly. We order our drinks and house bread to start. Once the bread basket arrived, we noticed it was not the same bread that Maggiano's normally served. Turns out, they changed to something different and supposedly healthier option. As we cut the bread in half and spread that flaky and creamy butter on the inside, it had a good texture and flavor to it. We personally loved the old bread more than new one. New was doable. Now, for the main course. We ordered signature famous, "Maggiano's Lasagna" and "Eggplant Parmesan with Spaghetti." OMG!!! We should have just ordered one menu item. We mentioned to the waiter that Lasagna will be shared for two. The level of attentiveness and quality was unmatched during main course. When they brought our food, Lasagna was placed on two separate plates and smothered with delicious red sauce. So much cheese! The Eggplant Parmesan plate had four large pieces with more cheese and spaghetti. With every bite, you were tasting authentic Italian cuisine. No compromise. It was so beyond generous portions that we took leftovers to last for few more meals. The carry-out bag was thoughtfully created. You almost feel guilty throwing it away. Italian table full of delicious cuisine is meant to gather around, enjoy great company, relax and eat delicious foods. We felt that and certainly recommend this place to you.
