It was ok. Its the nearesr be ro gate 29 out of OAK. it wasn't super busy so I pulled my laptop out and did some work with a couple of drinks. Theb I ordered crispy shrimp but they made boiled shrimp on a salad whuch wasn't the quick appetizer that I wanted. They fix my order. But then the plane was boarding, and who wants to eat shrimp on the plane. It ended up being a total waste of forty bucks.

Another airport meal, but Forge Pizza is pretty decent. They have a circular bar in the Oakland airport where you can grab a beer and a pizza or you can order to-go on their kiosk. I decided to grab a seat since I had some extra time to kill. They specialize in hand tossed woodfired pizzas, and I got the Fat Boy (bacon, italian sausage, pickled peppers, red onion, house made red sauce, parmesan, and mozzarella). It was very tasty, but the center of the pizza was a bit too wet/soggy for my liking. Could have stayed in the oven a bit longer. Their pizzas are personal sized, but it was still more than enough for me.

Waiting for my flight, I really wanted a Greek yogurt but found out that most place stop serving breakfast at 10am here. Looking for something healthy, I found a restaurant that served salad which I was going to order, but turned to the right to see someone's burger, then the Oakland Burger was my new choice with French fries. I was immediately greeted by a friendly server, and he let me take my time to look over the menu. The burger arrived looking beautiful with a cute basket of fries on the side. I'm so happy to have tried it. I appreciate a well cooked burger and today, Forge has accomplished that.

They make a really good pizza !!! The Fat Boy with an egg was delicious. But it takes some waiting for the pie to bake. Skip if your flight is close to boarding time.

We had a relaxing experience at Forge Pizza! The highlight was definitely the cauliflower and arugula pizza --which was delicious. We also enjoyed some crispy truffle fries that were perfect. To sip and unwind, we ordered an espresso martini and two cold Modelo's while taking in the stunning waterfront view. This will now be our go to snack stop -such a relaxing atmosphere. Our server, Allie, was just lovely--friendly, welcoming, and attentive. All the stuff was great.

Probably the WORST pizza I have ever had. Absolutely disgusting. It's probably the worst thing I have ever eaten. We got the Fat Boy pizza Wine was a big pour but $30!!!! Yes $30 for a GLASS of wine.

picked up a margherita pizza to go on my way to gate 30 since i didn't have time to grab lunch at the lounge on the opposite end of the airport. i was worried about how long a fresh pizza would take but it was ready in 5 minutes which was great that i had time to eat it before my flight. the pizza was $20 (you can add pepperoni for $4 and most of their other pizzas were around the $24 price). pizza tasted good and the crust had a nice saltiness to it which might not be for everyone but i liked it.

Bartender who treated me with overt discriminatory behavior to the point where patrons felt bad and apologized for him serving them first!

Adrien) Discriminatory Treatment and Poor Service I am writing to formally report an extremely disappointing experience I had at the bar during my recent visit. 3/16/26 1:25-1:50 I sat at the bar for approximately 25 minutes without receiving any service. When I politely asked the bartender, Adrien, a question about the menu, he responded that he had just started his shift and asked me to give him a moment. However, shortly after that, he proceeded to assist patrons who had just arrived and were seated next to me, while continuing to ignore me. During this time, I was not offered a menu, a drink, or even basic acknowledgment. I also asked for a lime and was ignored. Meanwhile, Adrien made sure to offer menus and service to the patrons beside me, even though my original question had been about the menu itself. The other bartender working alongside him also did not acknowledge me and continued serving other customers around me. The only person who checked on me was a woman from the kitchen, and I truly appreciated her kindness. Even the couple seated next to me noticed the situation and apologized, saying they saw that I had been there first. I reassured them that it was okay, but the experience left me feeling humiliated and deeply disappointed. I have never met this bartender before, and I visit this bar approximately once a month. Being completely ignored while others were served ahead of me felt unacceptable and, unfortunately, gave the impression of discriminatory treatment. I also took a photo documenting that I was seated and waiting. I am submitting this complaint so the situation can be properly reviewed. I hope management will take this matter seriously and address the conduct of the staff involved so that other customers do not have to experience the same treatment.

Simple menu! Pizza and some sharables and a good drink menu with a full bar. The staff were extra friendly and that gives an extra star. The place is in an airport so of course you are going to pay airport prices. The fries were pretty good. The pizza was a bit greasy and fell apart. Quick on refills on soda. I didn't try an alcoholic drink this time but they did look tasty from what other were ordering.

I will try the pizza next time. I had Caesar salad with huge prawns and an order of fries. The fries were hot and seasoned! If u order the salad Togo they do not toss it in the dressing unless you ask. They are a little heavy on the dressing. The lettuce was fresh and the croutons were good too! Full bar also. Order is kiosk only but they are available if you have questions. Check them out!

Me & the Mr had some extra time pre-flight and this was the closest dining location with a bar. Very casual and open, excellent for people watching. A few tv screens too if you're not as interested in the passersby! You can either order from a kiosk located at the bar near the kitchen, or take a seat and be served. Our server (I believe his name is Brandon) was very cool. He made excellent drinks and was a bit chatty and humorous but also gave us space to dine and enjoy each other's company as well. We ordered two rounds of drinks and a Fat Boy, which I have to say is one of the best pizzas I've had in my life. Jessica the Rabbit was my favorite cocktail, but I also enjoyed the Pink Fang. My husband ordered a cappuccino martini and a Mexican Firing Squad, which gave him the opportunity to introduce a fun new cocktail to the bartender who had never heard of it! Definitely recommend this place and would love to return the next time we take a trip.

Copped a seat to have a cocktail before my flight at the newest location at the airport. The service was quick and check out fast. Every bar seats was almost completely taken. The vibe was social and laid back. Next time I'm in town, I will order from the menu.

Better than your average airport pizza that's for sure. Located in Terminal 2 (Southwest) on the corridor with bar seating that faces the walkway (if you want to people watch like me) and outside (non-runway) field that is a nice calming view. The upside to this location, is that they have TVs with live sports... the downside, way too expensive. The Service at the bar counter was great, and it was less than a 10 min wait for my pizza to come. It feels like a happy hour social setting so I can't be mad. If you travel a lot, it's on par $$$ with everything else in the airport, which again, is WAY too expensive. The Pizza however was good (hot & ready) and that was great. Marghertia ran me just under $20. I also managed to fill up my container with ice for the next leg of my trip. I do wish they had some more flexibility with toppings, but once meat is added, you were looking at $24+... That's a lot for a slightly larger "personal pan pizza"

I got the BLT with kettle chips, an iced latte & of course the bread pudding. Their pastries & bread are made in-house which I love. BLT was filling & I had to take half of it home bc their bread pudding was massive, especially for 1 person. The whip cream is fresh & the bread pudding is crispy & soft in the right spots. It was also nice & warm. I ate the whole thing & have no regrets. The place is cute! There's a small parking garage - if you go on IG, there's a video that shows you how to get there. There's also street parking. I was able to find a seat in the bar to eat & work. If you order in, you'll do it through a QR code on your table. You can also ask for a hard copy of the menu. I just sent my bestie & hubby the pics of my food & will definitely bring them next time. I can't wait to go again & try more of their food & drinks.

Something for every beer taste, and food is scrumptious and shareable. Almanac is next door but it's turning into a zoo, you'll see what I mean. Regardless, go one building further to The Rake and you'll be happy along with your tastebuds. We biked, casually, around the Oakland Estuary over the Park Street bridge. Once in Alameda you can ride safely on a dedicated bike lane/path all the way to the brewery. Then a shortcut back is the free water shuttle. Fun afternoon.

I got to have a private tour with owner Ron Silberstein, who showed me the facility, explained the process, and introduced me to the team. They specialize in California grown grains, malted on a small scale for CA breweries. During my visit it was a variety of wheat being malted to order. It's a beautiful facility. The Rake specifically is their bar, which is an absolute must-visit for any beer fan in the Bay Area. Essentially, their tap list is from many regional breweries that all use their malt. It really shows off the variety of flavors when you can learn about the ingredients and know they were made right in the building. They also have a selection of to-go beers from breweries too. Bartender Grayson was super friendly and helpful; I had a couple flights during my visit too. They have cozy indoor seating, all with windows overlooking the malting floor, plus a beautiful outdoor deck with high top tables beyond. This is way more than just a beer bar, it's a fun experience.
