The burgers here are amazing! Juicy patty and it's not overwhelmed with a ton of condiments. Their fries are mediocre though, perhaps their oil is not changed out very often? My husband picked up togo for our entire family (a large order). Beware of calling in an order, it routes to the owner or manager and when we were told to text our order, I knew it may have sounded too good to be true. My husband arrives thinking the order will be ready but it turns out their kitchen never received it. He waits there and they were kind and gracious enough to comp him a beer while the order was being made. Luckily we weren't in a hurry. Probably best to just eat there but not with a large group. Parking is tough as it's located on "auto repair row" of Belmont.

Get you some of this caramelized goodness! Tried both the Original and the Hella Jalapeño and loved both; the jalapeño is more my style and will be in heavy rotation. The entire interior is for seating and as other folks noted, the grilling is done outside in front of the unmarked building. Looks like they might still be growing into their space but it makes no difference to the burgers you'll start craving. Street parking, solid service, and rad murals on the wall, Belmont's new cool kid in town.

Fun pop up burger place. It looks like they converted a garage workshop into a restaurant/bar. Because of the garage door being open it's very open air and breezy inside! They cook the burgers outside on a grill. The regular burger was fine, pretty decent. It was a bit oily though and you could see the oil pooling at the bottom of the plate. I did think the bacon jam was a tiny bit too sweet so I would try a different sauce next time. I also didn't get any spicy sauce on my burger and I felt like it needed something spicy so I'll probably get jalapeños or the spicy sauce next time! The fries were plentiful and quite crispy!

Been looking for some really good smash burgers and this place is definitely one of them! Good amount of seating but not a-lot of parking. The fries were perfectly crispy and the salt they used was reminiscent of McDonald's. The burger was really good and juicy. Going to come back here forsure!

From the guys who brought you the shmash_d pop-ups who have been all over the Peninsula and coast side with the incredible burgers already well reviewed, there is now a permanent home. Among the body shops on Old County Road, there's a little hole in the wall taproom, serving 15 local brews (so far), served up by the shmash_d family. Their legendary burgers are still grilled open air with plenty of habanero sauce (or not, if you're not a fan), bacon jam, cheese and fresh jalapeños. For we who follow them, it means I always know where to grab one of their burgers or a bottle of their sauce. No more chasing them around. They have always kept their schedule on Instagram under the handle of shmash_d, and the menu and hours of operation for Tapp'd are there, too. Come on down and help a new place thrive. The same guys. The same great burgers. Alpha Acid and Hop Dogma beers here. Hoping to add Hapa's to the list (my husband especially).

Great new smash burger joint in town. I had a double HELLA Jalapeño. I thought it would be too much stuff to pack between two buns but it was manageable and the combination of flavors worked together in perfect harmony. Being a taproom for local breweries first and foremost, nice selection of beers to wash down smash burgers made with pride right out front like a great street vendor at a night market.

    Burger menu less glare

7/26/25 GREAT burger. Would come back just for that. Good beer. Parking hard but not impossible. Saturday afternoon visit. Really friendly staff.

Stopped here just to try the burgers and they did not disappoint, delicious, smashed perfectly with the crispy edges, seasoned well, the fries were amazing too. You won't be disappointed, the brewery is spacious, will have to try some beer next time!

    The usual burger & fries.

Right when you walk in, the vibe feels welcoming and easygoing--perfect for groups or even a casual solo stop. The space has a great indoor/outdoor setup, so you can choose between a lively indoor atmosphere or a more relaxed patio feel depending on your mood. There are also a few TVs around, making it a solid spot to catch a game while hanging out. What really stood out was their impressive selection--30+ beers and seltzers on tap, with a little bit of everything for all tastes. Whether you're into hazy IPAs, crisp lagers, or something lighter like a seltzer, there's plenty to explore. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to walk us through options and offer recommendations without any pressure. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do. On top of that, they also stock a nice variety of bottles and cans in the fridge, which is great if you want to try something different or grab something to-go. It adds a bit of a curated bottle shop feel to the experience. They also serve some light bites like empanadas and pizza, which paired well with the drinks and made it easy to settle in for a while without needing to leave for food. It's not a full restaurant, but definitely enough to keep everyone satisfied. Overall, this is a great spot to kick back, celebrate with friends, or just explore new craft beers.
