Humble sea brewing is always great as usual. This location is kind of small and I found street parking. Good beers per usual and I really enjoyed the Pilsner here today. Will be back and recommend if I'm in the area.

    Beer + patio + sunshine = AWESOME!

If you like hazy beer (or "foggy" as they call it), then you're in for a treat! Humble Sea has some of the best foggy beer around! Singles, doubles, triples -- and even the occasional QUAD -- all of them beautifully crafted and full of flavor. Mmm! Beer!! Bartender shout outs: enjoy a pint with the amazingly friendly Alyson or the ever-so-luminous Dana, nod your head to playlists curated in-house by Sayre, and soak in the ambiance of the outdoor patio with Sabirah. Gotta cut this review short; I'm heading over there right now....

Looking for a place that has it all to spend your afternoon. This is it. With indoor and outdoor seating, different food trucks on different days in addition to the yummy hummus and chips they offer you can't go wrong at Humble Sea! Whether it's one of their beers, their fruity drinks or a hop water you will be greeted with a smile and given excellence service from Dana. She will also make your fur baby with a tasty treat! Plenty of street parking and a great environment.. so offer different activities at different times and Wednesday is a great time to visit for trivia at night.

This is located on Alameda Point in the Spirits Alley area. It is next to other businesses, apartments and the new restaurant Saltbreaker. I wanted to try this place out since I went to their location before in Santa Cruz. The aesthetic is so California, I love it. They sell merch on site and the designs are cool! The beer is pretty good. Socks & Sandals is my fave and some of their IPAs are refreshing. They have food trucks that come sometimes to sell food. I think they aim to always have one on site, but I've been a couple times where there has been a problem with food trucks not showing up. But really, the vibe is just not it. The staff is nice (never have had a problem or seen one), but it is SO quiet in there every time I go. There isn't music playing and if there is, it's VERY VERY low. There are no TVs, which sucks because it would be cool to have another brewery on the island with a TV besides Almanac. It feels like I can hear everyone's conversation that is next to me. The place is packed when there are events happening, but that's about it. There are seating options inside and outside. Outside, the picnic tables have umbrellas, which is nice for days that you don't want the sun to beat you down. Overall, I want to like this place, I REALLY REALLY do, but it's just "meh" to me. Now maybe if they would up that music, get a TV or 2 and more family friendly things, it may be pretttty cool. TVs: No Bathrooms: inside Water Station: No Non alcoholic options: Yes Food: via food trucks (if they're there- they do have a food truck schedule on their websites but food trucks have flaked before) Kid friendly: I mean kinda? Pet friendly: YES!

Humble Sea Brewing has a great location at Alameda Point.

Very friendly welcoming staff and wide selection of beers to choose from in a very clean and ample venue.

This brewery has been on my list to visit. I was hoping to come with my daughter, but my buddy beat her to it. Quality/Quantity - Socks & Sandals - IPA, my buddy said that it was cool and crisp and too easy to drink. So Far So Gud - Marzen, my beer. Good coloring and flavor. Light snacks are also available. Food truck outside, but it was closed when we got here. Atmosphere - Cool clean crispy decor, including the bathrooms, see pictures. To-go can options, see picture for the menu and options. Plenty of street parking, as you can NOT park in the lot, see pictures of all the warnings. Open 7 days a week, see my picture or Yelp for specific hours. Trivia Wednesdays. Cool small dog park. Available for rent for private events. Service - The one employee must have had a VERY long day. Shared that it was our first time here and asked for recommendations. Well with the music blaring so loud, we could barely hear him and we felt he was mumbling. So I decided to ask for a sample which he reluctantly gave me. QR code ordering available on the tables, maybe we should have gone that route? Well, of course I plan to give them another chance as the beer was good and I want to bring my daughter here also. Price - $7 to $8 a pint. See pictures of the menu for all pricing. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2015 with your 4 locations. I'm surprised that I have not been to your Santa Cruz or Pacifica locations, or have I???

We stopped by on a Sunday because we were following the SmackBurger truck but were pleasantly surprised by Humble Sea! The space is very nice with a huge outdoor section with string lights and tons of tables and a nice little dog area. The beers themselves are high quality. I'm a big sour beer guy and they didn't have any fruited sours but they did have their Shoalmates. Its good, very good. Seriously, I wish I picked some up but will have to go back and get more!

Back from the Shred Hazy Ipa. Very hazy yet yummy

Humble Sea as a brewery gets 5/5. We love their Santa Cruz and Pacifica locations. This location not as much, which is a shame because it is the closest location to home. Staff wasn't very friendly or interested in helping on a slow Tuesday afternoon. We sat at the bar and both staff members just stood at the end of the bar by the "Order Here" sign. They asked us "Are you sitting at the bar?" We said yes, then they both ignored us looking the opposite direction until we said "Excuse me..." to ask questions about the beer. I understand QR codes and not having table service but if you're sitting at the bar they should still take your order right? Weird first encounter but whatever, we didn't have a chance to try their food truck but really appreciate that they have food options available everyday. This location obviously is not on a beach like others but still feels like it's greatly missing the beach feel all Humble Sea locations have. Maybe some more fun wall art would help the decor/vibes? It's just missing something. We'll probably be back to visit again, but we won't rush back. After visiting Almanac and Admiral Malting's on the same day it was disappointing to see such unenthusiastic staff at such a cool brewery..

    Just a couple tasters.

I was estactic to learn Humble Sea would be opening in Alameda. I absolutely love their Super Pops series and have even driven to Pacifica for pick up. Having them 15 miles from home without paying toll for a bridge is awesome. I've definitely had some awesome beers over the years from Humble Sea, frequently picking up 4 packs and singles from local bottle shops. But there definitely is something special about going to the source, having a few tasters, and bringing home some brews. I came out for the Tropical Blue Super Pops shortly after it dropped, but missing the four packs. It was awesome to sit outside and soak up the sun. I made the Party Mermaid drop and that was super delicious. The Surfsquatch was also very good. If sour/smoothies aren't your thing, their Socks and Sandals series never disappoints. Their triple and quadruple hazies are JUICY. Their lagers are crisp, light and flavorful. There's beers for everyone here. Tacos El Ultimo Baile has been here on Saturdays, get the brisket tacos, and thank me later.

New brewery alert! Humble Sea has been on my radar ever since I saw this gem in Santa Cruz. But look no further! You no longer have to make the long drive. Humble Sea has found a home in Alameda, bless the beer Gods. This place is super spacious with plenty of tables/benches topped with giant umbrellas to shield you from that D.. vitamin D that is! I ordered the Super pop for the lovely green color. This tastes like a cider with a hint of floral and dark chocolates. To answer your question, your pee will NOT turn green after indulging in this beverage. There's lot of varieties to choose from so come thirsty!

Visited on a Friday around 5pm. Some folks around but still had lots of open tables inside and out on the patio. Drinks: Lots of beer as well as a hard seltzer on tap. Three sizes 1 Liter for their lighter lagers, 16oz and 5oz for pretty much everything else on the menu. I ordered their Octoberfest Marzen the Taste Gud, which was sweet, malty and really nice. Food: Didn't try but there was a Mexican food truck parked outside. Service friendly and fairly efficient, no complaints. Overall really like this location of humble sea, would recommend a visit.

Really cute space and awesome beers! Their outdoor space has great table settings with patio umbrellas that had solar lights. So if you want a good place to chill with your friends and fur buddies for a drink, this is a great spot. When we were there, there was a fillipino food truck I loved that they had 4 oz servings so you don't feel like you are committing to a full glass. Or get to enjoy a few different brews without filing up. My favorite for the day was the POG hard seltzer.... Reminded me of Hawaii

Pretty solid brewery. Used to be a huge humble sea fan, but they dropped on my list over time. I feel like they were too focused on expanding vs making great beer. This time the beers were pretty good. Their known for their "foggy" (hazy) ipas I've been to their Santa Cruz and Felton (now closed) locations. This place is the most spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Most tables outside have umbrellas for shade. Dog friendly. There are QR codes on tables that you can order with or you can get in line at the bar. The QR menu needs some work still. Different size pours of the same beers are not listed together and for one beer there was a 16 oz available but no 5 oz (later found out they tapped out). They have a nice variety of beers. 16 beers on tap. Prices are $3.50-4 for 5 oz (taster) or $7-8 for full pours (12 or 16 oz). The way they do taster/flights needs improvement though. They don't give you a tray or label your beers. So if you order a lot, you will need multiple hands to bring back to your table and have good memory. They don't serve food but have food trucks on site. There's self serve water inside. They have a large selection and stock of 4 packs for to go Service was decent. Their stingy and don't let you sample though. All other locations do Only 2 bathrooms and there's always a line. Plan ahead. This place is popular. Plenty of free street or parking lot (read signs first) parking

Flight 2 - they were out of short glasses but this looks like a nice "upgrade"

In other words, an outdoor patio/shipping container with plenty of outdoor seating and all the vibes...located right outside the sit-down restaurant and across the way from Humble Sea if you know the area. Some notes: check their days/times before heading over because they aren't open everyday, and also, you order from a QR code. They have the most friendliest staff that helped answer questions for us 'first-timers' who needed some TLC outside of a QR code ordering system. After we were settled we ordered a few drinks. The Aperol Spritz is a highlight, no doubt, especially while sitting outdoors in the beautiful East Bay island weather. We then ordered a Caesar salad to split, and the Chopped Cheese with fries. Served on a fresh Dutch Crunch roll (such a nice surprise), the sandwich came with sautéed peppers and onions, cherry peppers, a garlic aioli, and American cheese ($20). It was perfection. I would travel through the Webster Tube again for this sandwich alone. Other notable menu items I would travel back to try? The Smash Burger, 'Yard' Dog, Southwest Chicken Sandwich, and Fried Cauliflower Buffalo Wings..so essentially most of the menu :) Parking is accessible on the island, and there are so many other spots to travel to if wanting to spend some time in the area.
