Very disappointing experience. Jason seemed very responsive at first and promptly communicated while scheduling. However, after confirming our appointment--and even after one reschedule--he never showed up. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of communication afterward. He did not respond to calls, texts, or messages. I understand that unexpected situations can arise, but a simple notification or follow-up would have been appreciated and shown basic professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience wasted my time, and based on the lack of reliability and communication, I cannot recommend this service. read more

Forge Electric Company is the most professional and knowledgeable team of electricians you'll find in LA. They installed our EV charger which involved running the power under our house and then installing the charger on the exterior wall. Their work is top notch and they made it look great. We needed their service another time, and again they came through and provided top notch work. They're the only electricians we'll ever recommend. read more

Jason was very helpful, polite and on time for our project. Will definitely use again in the future.

It's sad to leave this review- Jason started off very respectful, punctual and professional and I thought we found someone reliable to work with long term. However, things quickly changed after he messed up his schedule and requested to extend the deadlines multiple times (sometimes without informing us). The longer the project went on, the less trustworthy Jason's words became. Lots of no-shows, and he was even an hour late to the inspection. The inspector was obviously no happy. Had we not been home to notify him, we would've missed the inspection. read more

I was first introduced to Forge Electric and Jason when my dad and I started to get bids for our brand new ADU. We decided to have Jason and his team take on the new project and boy were we pleased. Jason was very professional, always showed up on time or early, did very clean wiring, extremely organized panel with all new switches, and stuck to his initial invoice estimate. Our local city inspector also liked working with Jason and forged because of how clean and organized all the wiring was. We passed inspections, and now my parents live in the back. We've had no issues at all. Jason also helped with connecting chandeliers, cam lights, plugs, kitchen island plugs, conduit placements, and custom LED lights for the kitchen cabinets. Highly recommended Forged and Jason! read more

Forge Electric was great. I was having trouble with a breaker tripping for my spa. It turns out that a repair on the spa had increased the power draw and now it was too much for what was in place. They quickly identified the issue, helped check with the spa specs to determine the proper breaker and ordered the part. Everything was fixed and all very easy and transparent. I think I received good value as it was very transparent what I was being charged for and I received an estimate before hand. read more

Well, after having such a great experience the 1st time, I called Forge Electric back for a similar problem. Jason responded relatively quickly and we scheduled a day / time for him to come out. At the appointed day / time, Forge Electric was a NO SHOW. No communication or timing updates and when I reached out to see when he might come or if we could reschedule, there was absolutely no response. No way to run a business... I'll be looking elsewhere for electric services. read more

I discovered Forge Electric Company here on Yelp and was impressed by their quick response time and professionalism throughout the process. As new owners of an electric vehicle, we wanted to get a home charger installed so we could charge our car from our driveway. Jason suggested a free on-site estimate so he could give us an accurate and fair quote. He arrived on time, was friendly and easygoing, and we scheduled the work for a few days later. Jason and his colleague completed the job in a timely fashion and we are really happy with the work. He also came by the following day since LADWP needs to inspect the installation. I'm happy to say we passed and will be able to apply for the LADWP rebate (up to $1,000). We are so happy to have found a reliable and professional electrician who we can count on in the future. read more

Jason installed my new EV charger and was incredibly responsive, professional and friendly. Overdue for a review. I had a major overhaul needed of the electrical panels for a small apartment building. Jason at Forge Electric was great to work with. He's conscientious, honest and did everything to get the job done. read more

Jason is an excellent electrician and person. He did a great job of all the tasks we required at a fair price. This included subpanel installation, electric car charger, outdoor and indoor lighting, WiFi switches, security camera installation. We bonded over being dads while he worked at our place for a few days. He stands by his work and I wouldn't hesitate to hire again for any electrical job. 5 stars! read more

I worked with Jason on a number of projects and he was amazing. He did a complete rewire of my house, including a new 200 amp panel and sub panels and did a fantastic job. He also worked on three of my rentals, did complete new panel installs on all of them. Always came in on time and was able to troubleshoot and help me with additional issues I had that I did not know about. He backs up his work, is available if there are any issues and is very trustworthy. I appreciate working with him and look forward to doing other projects in the future. read more

Jason did great on the first job we hired him for installing a charger for our EV. We were so pleased with his work we hired him to do another job. Unfortunately this didn't go so well, he was hard to reach, cancelled last minute. We rescheduled, he didn't return calls when we called to confirm and was a no show. read more

In my previous post I thought that I found a reliable electrician but how quickly things change. I tried to contact Jason several times and he finally answered so I told him that I have several light fixtures that needed to be replaced along with a couple of outlets so we set a date and time for him to stop by, He never showed up, no text no email or call. Sad days!! read more

Jason is a real pro! We reached out to have an EV charger installed and he was extremely knowledgeable. It's our first experience with any EV and he explained it all, inspected our panel and garage to let us know what everything it would entail and completed the job flawlessly! We're now ready to charge! We couldn't be happier with such great service and recommend Forge to anyone. read more

Jason and his crew the epitome of professionals and extremely polite. He was able to come out and provide a detailed quote for a long list of items I wanted done, from running a new outlet to installing a security camera. The price was fair and beat the other quotes I had received. Scheduled for the work to be done 2 days later, and the crew showed up 10 mins early! They were extremely considerate about cutting power as needed and gave me a heads up in advance, as I was working from home and didn't want to drop out of a meeting unexpectedly. The work was top notch and completed right on time, I couldn't be happier with the service. I highly recommend working with them. read more

I definitely give Jason and his crew 5+ star! It is so rare to find a team that still remains professional, sincere, and very reasonable price in today's society. Jason definitely is the person you can trust and give task. He is polite, professional, patient, meticulous, always considers his clients, he give very reasonable charge and great work. My seller left me a bad and unsafe power panel for me, and the whole house 's power system didn't correctly been grounded. I hired several electricians before, they came to do some repairs but the problem still there. Jason took two days to change a new 200 amp panel for me, grounded the electric system correctly, specially added ground line for the garage that I used as a sound studio, he totally resolved all the problems. Most important thing, he did all hard works and made me felt the whole process easy and smooth. I honestly said to Jason: I am so lucky to find your team. read more

He even suggested different ideas to our vision, which made our living room look even better than we imagined. Very good service for a great price, and most importantly dependable! They did a great job fixing our buildings intercom in one day quick and seamlessly at an affordable rate.

I had a rough experience with another electrician who left me without a working oven. Jason answered my request promptly and scheduled a time for the next day. He took the time to listen to myself and my wife talk about the electrical problem we were having with our oven and outlet. He quickly solved our problem for great value compared to some of the quotes I received prior to meeting Jason. He is definitely my first call if I have any other concerns. read more

Wow! It's so hard to find good contractors today. Jason was punctual and professional. My parents home is a lot older (built in 1920) and we always had issues with the electricity going off every summer. Jason knew exactly what we needed and guided us in the right direction. His price was fair and the job was quick, clean, and professional. I interviewed a few other company's who's quotes where significantly higher than Forge's. I'm glad we went with Forge and found our go-to electrician! I recommend Jason and his company to everyone! read more
