I called 4 different electricians for estimates on replacing 2 panels at the rental I had. HL Voltage, specifically lead electrician, Diego was honest about the price and came in the lowest. They do work as a crew so there were about 5 people working at any given time. They are also a young crew that needs a bit of experience but they are committed to doing a good job. And they handled themselves professionally. There were some hiccups along the work site. I also requested a conduit extension to the garage and during the line excavation, a sprinkler line was accidentally cut. Diego took responsibility and covered the cost of the plumber to repair the line. He was also able to get a good referral on stucco work that needed to be done near the panels. The panels themselves are working great. Overall, I'm satisfied with HL Voltage's work and would recommend them for any electrical needs. read more

HL Voltage is great! They have come to our rescue many times and make our home feel safer with the work they do. Can't recommend enough!

This review is way overdue!!! I've been busy remodeling all four rental units since I hired Diego and his team in September 2023, and I forgot to leave a review. HL Voltage upgraded two of the main electrical panels at two of my rental units in Signal Hill and did a complete rewire in one of the units. Diego and his team are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I did have some light flicker after installation, and Diego and his team came out right away many times to make sure it was resolved. They informed me that the neutral power drop coming from Edison was an issue. I contacted Edison, and they fixed their issue! They provide excellent value for their work! read more

These guys are very professional and do a great job. I received a call from Diego the owner who is so professional. A great listener and he tries to understand all your requirements before speaking. He offered a free estimate and made recommendations for my EV install. He also said I did not have to do everything but they were recommendations for the future. There was no pressure. He later sent me a quote by text with what I wanted and options to consider. The EV circuit and the conduit work was top notch. All of his guys are super friendly and very courteous. Jose did my EV install and it was very clean and he made sure I was good with everything before he left. Also everything was cleaned up. Thanks HL Voltage for an awesome job. read more

Once again HL Voltage business owner Diego Aguilar came thru like a top professional electrician! My power and internet inside my home went down late on a Friday afternoon; I checked the breakers and couldn't restore it myself so I called Diego on his cell phone. He answered, and gave me a few pointers on how I might restore it; and he said if I couldn't do it, he would come the next morning at 11 AM to my house on a Saturday. He showed up on time and spent an hour and a half with me despite having a newborn son at home and his family in town visiting; When he found it to be an Edison problem, he even called and filed a report for me with SCE and requested service ASAP from them; he didn't ask me for any payment when he left, but I insisted on paying him since he came out on a Saturday morning and he helped me out by identifying the problems I was having. Diego and his company HL Voltage is a first class legit top professional operation. I recommend him highly for any electrical needs you have, including emergencies. I originally hired him about a year ago to re-do my entire front yard and patio and flowerbeds with new brick lights and low-voltage lighting. He did a phenomenal job, for a reasonable price! So now he and his company are my electricians for life! Alan Manhattan Beach read more

Diego was referred to us by our contractor, and did a great job on the electrical work for our kitchen, bedroom, and living room renovation. From the first point of contact to the final walk through, Diego has been wonderful to work with on all fronts. We had several requests that Diego easily accommodated and even provided great recommendations to further enhance our space. We really appreciated his attention to detail, and pride in his and his team's work. His entire team (Jose, Alex, and George) were respectful, kind, and treated our home like their own and cleaned up their work areas after each day. We hired HL Voltage to install a vintage sconce. Diego came to scope out the work, and gave us the best quote for the project. Someone on his crew came to install the sconce a few days later, but afterwards we realized the sconce was making a buzzing sound. We called them up again to install much needed recessed lighting in our main bedroom, and replace lighting with recessed fixtures in our other rooms upstairs. George was project lead and communicated thoroughly with us about our options and how it would impact the price. Nate was onsite with him and they worked super well together. It always seems like a gamble when you hire contractors but rest assured you are in good hands with HL Voltage. Our lighting is game changing upstairs!! read more

Diego is definitely my go to for anything electrical. I bought an older home, which he upgraded all of the lighting to the Lutron system. My house looks so much better, and now I have integrated a very user-friendly system, which I can use remotely as well. Diego is responsive, and is truly an expert at what he does. We are doing an extensive remodel and HL Voltage took care of all our electrical needs. Diego was so easy to speak with, answered all of our questions and we did several walk-throughs before they even started. They put in a new electrical panel, can lights and rewired the whole house. George was there everyday and was such a pleasure to check in with. If he questioned where to place an outlet or switch he would take the time to FaceTime us to make sure we were happy with the placement.
