Finding a security company you can truly rely on is rare, but we have found a lifelong partner in Don and Moore Protection. Over the last decade, their patrol and monitoring teams have provided our family with unparalleled safety and support. Don is consistently available and ensures our home is protected by modern advancements like smart AI security systems. His entire staff, whether out on patrol or handling calls at the base station, is consistently helpful and reliable. There is truly no other company I would trust to protect our home and family. read more

We had issues with our security system, and the provider was slow to respond. I asked for a recommendation, and he said, "You have to switch to Moore Protection!" 10 years later, we are so happy with the service we have received from Don and his team. We recently remodeled our home and decided it was time to upgrade our security system. Once again, Moore Protection came through. They installed a new system with all the bells and whistles we needed. In fact, when I asked about adding something else to the system that would have been fairly expensive, Don said, "You don't need that." Everyone at Moore Protection is professional, friendly, and really cares about the work they do. read more

I have worked with Don and this business for decades. Reliable, helpful and up to date on security concerns and devices. I have recommended Moore Protection to many friends who have also been more than pleased. The service is top knotch and as is the quality. read more

We feel so secure and well taken care of by Don and the whole Moore Protection team. Don listens to our needs and what would work best for us. We travel often, but never worry; having peace of mind is everything. Now we have the app too, which we highly recommend. Whether you're out of town or home, it works like a dream! Moore Protection is no cookie-cutter alarm company! read more

We just had an experience where all of the hard-wired fire alarms went off at once on a Saturday night. Calling the 24/7 monitoring center didn't help, as they couldn't turn it off remotely. They said a technician specialist would call me to assist. No one ever called. So much for 24/7! After thirty minutes of deafening noise and zero help from two different service reps, the third finally suggested pulling all of the wires out of the panel and the backup batteries. That's what I did... but how is that a solution? So that's that. The equipment failed, they couldn't handle it remotely, their app is pretty crappy.... so I've canceled the service. Will try someone else. read more

We now use Moore for our home, needs as well as Commerical. They 100% do what they say on time.

I strongly, strongly recommend against using moore protection. I love the pictures presented by the owner but mine represent the quality of the installation and the standard analog equipment used by Moore. In addition, he will charge you 3x his competitor's quote who will install modern touch screen system. When you complain at getting jacked, you will get no response. So you refuse to pay and he will sue you for the full amount of the contract. In summary, if you want an outdated system at a cost of 3x his competitor and get sued after being taken advantage, then Moore Protection is your guy. We lost the suit and paid for a system we had to replace with ADT. Go anywhere else! read more

Completely terrible experience with the company over the last year. Nonstop device malfunctions and issues and tonight they didn't even respond when the actual fire alarm went off at 12am. No call - no response at all. This is a the last straw in a long line of issues with Moore Protection . read more

We have worked with Don Moore for years. He is not only an expert in home security, he also has a great team of technicians and a very helpful office staff. After getting lost in the system of major security companies like ACS and others, how nice to talk to the actual owner of the security company who knows you and your family! Honestly - when you are worried about the security of your family do you really want to be on hold forever and punch endless numbers into the phone and then finally reach a human robot? If you are fortunate enough to be in their service area please give them a call. read more

I recently needed a repair to my security system and found Moore Protection to be responsible, professional and flexible. I am comfortable recommending them read more

I just have to say I had the best experience with Jose and Anouar. They were extremely professional and kind. They went above and beyond!!!

I have used Moore Protection since 2003. I chose them because I wanted to use a local business rather than a large faceless corporation. I could not be more happy with the level of expertise and personal service I have received from them. I have dealt with the owner, Don Moore, and his handful of professional staff members quite a bit throughout the years. These are people that live and breathe personal and electronic protection, they don't sell you a $100 system and pass you off to someone in another city (or country for that matter). I know from personal experience that if something is not working with your system or crime trends in your neighborhood have you worried, you can pick up the phone and call Don directly. I have done it on a Sunday, myself. Everyone that I have referred to Don has thanked me, because you don't really see this level of personal service that much any more. When you do, you are happy to recommend it, and I am happy to recommend Moore Protection. read more

I too strongly recommend against using Moore Protection. The system installed in a very large private home has never worked properly and Moore Protection seems uninterested in actually fixing the problem. Shoddy installation, lack luster customer support, and an owner who is all too willing to charge a premium for an inferior product and second rate service. read more

Wonderful! I have worked with Don Moore for the last several years without one single complaint. His knowledge of safety in and it of the home has been invaluable. These times are scary but having Moore protecting us gives piece of mind and attention that you just don't find with other companies. Trust me, I have tried them. Don is excellent at managing expectations and providing HONEST assessments for home security. Plus, his field and office team are helpful, clean, efficient and respectful. Having folks in your home is sometimes tricky but not with this crew. I HIGHLY recommend the company...WITHOUT hesitation or pause! read more

I would strongly recommend against using this security company. I contracted with Don Moore to install a security system in my house. He ripped me off and then actually sued me to try and squeeze every penny out of me he could. And the worst of it is he never provided a working system--what he installed was unusable and never functioned. Use somebody else or you'll be writing one of these reviews later! read more

Don Moore has been providing me with alarm monitoring and security help for almost a decade. Because of his terrific work, I recommended him to dozens of my neighbors (I was president of our homeowners association for 5 years) and they have been very happy with his terrific company, too. He is a man of integrity and his people are competent and good to deal with. I only wish more businesses today maintained the standards and attitudes that make Moore Protection such a pleasure to work with! John L. Schwartz, MD Pacific Palisades, CA read more

I am not even their customer and Don Moore personally got on a call with me to help troubleshoot an alarm problem. He was super nice. I don't actually use the alarm much, and the thing was beeping. Don "facetimed" with me and we found my alarm box and he showed me how to stop the beeping. He said the battery needed changing. What a nice guy. read more

Moore Protection is the best. Forget companies like ADT who have too many bureaucratic hurdles and corporate departments. We just built a house and Don was there at the beginning to come and make security suggestions and always responsive at different points of the installation. Everyone on their team is easy to deal with and very responsive. Many years ago, he took over an old system from a house we were renting and was able to retro fit everything to make it operational while we were there. It was then I told Don he would be our top security guru! read more

Converted my alarm from ADT to Moore Protection. Process was easy. All appointments were kept on time. Don Moore is an expert in home security system design. I like dealing with the owner of a company and not a call center in some other state. They did not try to sell me anything that I didn't need or want. Glad I made the switch. read more
