Don't go here. They need to make it VERY clear that each problem has a $185 fee that is not then put towards the cost of the work being done on the vehicle. This was not told to me. I spent more on the fee for my battery issue than I did for taking care of the fix myself, which didn't need a diagnosis. I can buy and change the battery all on my own, thank you very much. And for less than $100 vs the $350 you quoted me for. Second, when I complained about the diagnosis fee, it was stated to me that I would get a discount on my next repair. Of course none of that was put in writing. So when I was sent another estimate for a possible future repair, it didn't include the discount I was promised. I feel like there were a lot of mistakes made in the communication of pricing and process. My other mechanic, who referred me to you over the dealership, had my vehicle for 10 days and didn't charge me a fee because he didn't think he would be able to fix it despite spending time on it and he's a small business owner. I spent more on this repair than I did buying the car 4 months ago. That should not happen. Clearly listed expectations for initial cost is EXTREMELY important and it was lost in communication and it seriously PISSED me off. Good luck with your business. I will not be returning. read more

We moved to Mason just over a year ago. Just getting settled and finding out where to go for everything. Needed a battery for our 2021 Land Rover Evoque. Called here to have them do the install. Looked it up on YouTube and this install on this vehicle is not fun. (I miss my 1974 AMC Hornet Sportabout station wagon in puke green btw.....two bolts.. and battery in and out in 3 minutes...NOT anymore!) Spoke to Devon and he was really helpful/sharp and we scheduled to get it done. Got an Interstate battery for the same price as we were quoted for a Duralast from Auto Zone. They have a really nice waiting area as well as a courtesy shuttle I took advantage of. The quote was what we paid and they even washed it!? (looked GREAT btw). I don't know how to recommend this Auto repair shop more. The team is professional, courteous, and thorough. My Audi had unfortunate damage caused by, apparently a clogged sunroof drain tube. There was severe water intrusion damage. The team was working with me on that surprising issue and a few other more mundane repairs. Rather than begin immediately on the secondary repairs these folks investigated the water damage. All work stopped once they discovered that the vehicle was not repairable. They recommended contacting my insurance about the water damage. I accomplished that and am having problems with my insurance company. The team at 'Foreign Exchange West Chester' have volunteered to work with me and my insurance company providing their expertise and inspection results. Although my insurance company is still contesting their diagnosis on the damage. The team said they are available to provide whatever my insurance needs to progress on this settlement. This was our first time utilizing this repair shop. We had our Volkswagen beetle towed in, and the team worked us in. They quickly diagnosed our car, recommended some needed maintenance, and quoted a very fair price. We agreed to the work, and a few days later her car was ready. Very professional, great communication, and as I mentioned they worked us in to their busy schedule. I found the shop to be very well-maintained and clean. This place is perfect. After a bad experience at the Mercedes dealer I was on the search and found this place. Everything from over the phone to in person experience was great. They were very nice on the phone doing their best to give a rough estimate and recommendations. When I brought it in, since I was a first time customer they did a full inspection and TOOK PICTURES and videos OF EVERYTHING. This made me feel very confident in them when I came to pick the car up. They gave me a list of recommendations and went through each and every photo to show signs of what I may or may not need in the future. They literally showed me evidence without just telling me hoping I bite. I absolutely trust this shop and the gentleman that helped me was extremely helpful giving me great advice. I have a few of my cars over there right now and these guys are amazing. My top on my Ferrari wasn't working, my battery was dead and my headlamp wasn't popping up. Austin was great at troubleshooting...for a 355 owner Ferrari's can be scary but with a crew like Foreign Exchange I know there will actually be trouble shooting going on and not just parts changing. I hope anyone in the area who has a foreign car considers him first even over the dealers. I think you will see better service and some savings in the end. New to the area I was looking for a good and reliable mechanic. As retired military loyalty is big on my list so there are certain services that you look for when coming to a new place. One of those is a reliable mechanic that doesn't over charge. I dropped my car off and they over charged on nearly everything that they said they fixed. I know I could refuse prior to the work being done but again new to the area and needed my car up and running. I won't disclose what I paid but it was astronomical. When the main item I wanted fixed wasn't optimal I took it back and left it for the day. Again they're nice about it but said they couldn't locate anything that would classify as a problem. So I took my car and left. I had to return back home so I had a mechanic I've known for 25 years take a look. He fixed the problems for almost nothing and my car is running excellent now. In fact like new. I don't post a lot of negativity on line but tired of the lack of quality when paying large quantities of dollars. Service, integrity, loyalty, and quality. Highly recommend this business! We have been going to foreign exchange for years with our Land Rover and now our Range Rover. I happened to be on a road trip in the Range Rover and purchased gas with water in it. It immediately affected my vehicle. My 2005 Mini Cooper R50 has 150k miles. Now, I do almost all of my own repairs and maintenance. If I can't get her done, I work for a car dealer who has a service team. And when they can't get her done, I send it to Austin. Keeping in mind that I do most of my own work, I take pride in proper maintenance. I buy my filters and fluids from MINI, put new tires on myself, and buy OES replacement parts for repairs. That being said, the car runs great! But sometimes...... well let's just say it can be difficult to diagnose if a problem arises. Austin and his team really take the time to listen to what's going on. Robbie, my service writer, asks the right questions and listens carefully to my symptoms. I've been known to lose a night or two of sleep when my baby is sick, but I got NO worries with the crew at Foreign Exchange carefully going over every inch of my R50. They call to keep me informed, and don't get ticked when I call later with a bunch of follow-up questions Somehow, my 14 year old MINI keeps getting better with age. Thanks again Austin and Robbie!
