When I got home I opened the billing sent to me via email and saw that 3% was added due to me using a credit card. The service rep said she told me, and that there is signage stating this fee. I wasn't informed, and I don't read every sign on service desks. Seems like a simple "Here's what we're charging you PLUS 3% would be in order here." My friend was very impressed with the color and options of the car, it was a 7 speed manual which he also wanted, so easy deal. We drive back they haggle for a few, which is a must in my opinion, but hey at some point just make the best deal. My friend got an amazing deal on the car, then they had to do paper work, so we left and went for coffee down the street and to pick up a new radar detector (a must in this car). When we got back the paperwork was ready and he went to sign. Of course they tried selling all the add on stuff that you don't really need, but my friend did get an okay price on the extended warranty. Should have paid less and I did try to help there, but due to some miscommunication between him and I, he paid a slightly higher price then he should have. Only about $300, but still. Overall a very good business deal and my friend is happy and his new Corvette drives amazing. Makes me a wee bit Jealous.
