The farm to table options here are endless. Both breakfast and lunch/dinner choices are all great. There is something for everyone.

Cool place with outdoor seating in warm weather. Shrimp and grits are traditional and spot on. I like food that is "fun"...in my world that means entrees that are a bit unique with different toppings and/or condiments and they have all that. Recommend! read more

Thought this place was going to be good with the 4.5 star rating. Simply HORRIBLE! I ordered the Depot Burger which is their version of a classic American Hamburger. First of all, the center of the burger when cut was raw so I started to eat around the edges. To my surprise, this wasn't anything like a classic American hamburger (seasoned with salt and pepper) it was a friggen Meatloaf. If I wanted a meatloaf, I would have sought out a meatloaf. Disgusting! A burger should not taste like a meatloaf! I will never go back. Ruined my appetite. read more

Food was incredibly delicious and Caroline's service was amazing. The people and food make Foragers an ideal place to dine.

Good food but it takes forever to get it. This time so far we've been waiting for an hour and 45 minutes and still haven't gotten our food

This place was so so so good! Came from out of town and had the Pigy Basket for an app. It was out of this world. The pork to fry ratio was perfect. I had the goat cheese salad with the beets and my boyfriend had the pecan crusted chicken sandwich and both were DELICIOUS !!! We ate outside by the river and out waitress Skylar was the bomb. Such a great experience especially after being on the trail :) read more

HIDDEN GEM. This is a farm-to-table kinda place. It's nothing fancy but OMG it was so good! We were seated quickly even though every server was obviously busy. I ordered the SteamEngine Steak Tacos. The steak was crazy tender, the pico was fresh and juicy, and even the tortilla seemed fresh-made. Our table also had the Cowboy Carbonara & it was made to order and was yummy, too. Our server, Jessie, was attentive and friendly. Clearly, this place is a hidden gem. read more

DO NOT TRUST THE FISH OR SHRIMP!! We came to eat here last Sunday. Everything seemed okay. You can tell whoever makes the menu is trying to do southern food reimagined. Using inventive ingredients adding a twist to classics. All our food tasted great, although definitely do not expect southern style sweet tea. It's either unsweetened or lightly sweetened, which they should warn customers about. You order sweet tea in WNC you expect sweet tea. But the main issue was three out of the four people who went had mild food poisoning. Two ordered fried fish dishes and one ordered shrimp. The one person who got the steak was fine. The two people who got fish had it the worst with upset stomachs for the rest of the next day. I got the shrimp and thankfully I was only feeling bad that night with slight nausea the next morning but they definitely have something wrong with their fish/shellfish. read more

Fabulous! The food was so good that I didn't even take the time to snap a pic! Highly recommended. As a family we decided that we could take some of the food we brought for the cabin home ... because we are eating here more than once. read more

Service was excellent the food was really good everything was very fresh and they put their twist on every day dishes. I had the shrimp scampi on homemade pasta and it was the best I've ever had. Will definitely be back read more

Oh my! So glad Foragers is in Dillsboro and providing take out to the brewery! We look forward to stopping or driving from Bryson just to get great food and beer! A favorite! Hardest thing is deciding what to order. read more

Ordered pulled pork nachos. They were scrumptious! Staff was pleasant & got to sit outside. If in the area again, I'll be back.

Laid back bar and grill. Great service. The back porch burger with bacon, pimento cheese, and a fried green tomato was excellent, even to a burger lover like me. And the Brussels sprouts were fantastic. read more

I've been to this place a few times, every time I come I love this place more and more. It is an amazing hidden gem. We would of posted pictures of the amazing food but it didn't last long enough. read more

First time I went it was awesome. I had shrimp and grits and it looked amazing, complete with edible flowers. I liked it so much I took a date there and we both ordered the same. Needless to say it was just thrown together this time and they charged the same price.. It looked completely different as well. Not only was I disappointed but I was embarrassed that I took a date there. Lol. I've heard from a few other locals that the quality has changed somewhat. Hopefully they get it together. For reference I went right after lockdown the first time then again recently. read more

Great food! Nice to see the chef making the rounds to the tables. We had the Yard Bird and the Shrimp & Grits. Definitely very good, especially for a small town like Dillsboro. read more

So delicious!! The food we ordered was fresh and delicious we had the goat cheese salad, the foragers omelet, and the chicken old world yard bird sandwich grilled and fried. Staff were super friendly and everyone really enjoyed every part of the meal. Will come back, but don't normally come to Dillsboro. A true hidden gem!! read more

We love Foragers Canteen! Before Covid we would go for brunch on weekends a lot. The Biscuits and Gravy and Eggs Benedict are so good for brunch!! Due to Covid, they changed their menu and took biscuits and gravy off the menu, and we hope they put it back soon! For dinner, we love the Shrimp and Grits, it is amazing!! read more

I had the Boxcar Willy bowl without peppers and onions. This is one of my top breakfast I have ever had at a restaurant ever. I will absolutely eat here again, next time I am in town. read more

We were a part of 3 (PAW) tonight ( Nov 1st) and every moment was perfect. Stephanie our server was delightful and helpful. Her personality added an abundance of joy to our dinner experience. The food is sublime !! Care is given in quality, preparation and presentation and it magnifies the experience. Thank you read more

Farm to fork! No doubt, one of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten. It's just as fresh as they claim. We visited while on vacation, not knowing what to expect. Jennifer was our server and she did a good job putting up with my jokes--great personality. We will be coming back on our next visit! read more

This place is phenomenal! Thomas was our server and he was so genuine and kind and offered fantastic service. The food is so unexpectedly delicious. It's really hard to find quality food in the surrounding areas so to find a farm to table restaurant was amazing while we were visiting. We got the tacos, our friend got the grilled cheese and said it was the best one she's ever had! We also ordered the Cronuts with blackberry jam and they were the perfect way to end the meal. If you are ever in the area you most definitely should check this place oh! read more

Loved this spot!! Was hoping for two meals here but ran out of time while on vaca- outside has some picnic tables on the water and cute little spot. We had the tacos- both the steak and pulled pork and they were great!! Beers on tap and cocktails available. read more

Dillsboro itself is an adorable little town. Foragers is a decent little place and now I put this restaurant on my go-to list when I'm in western North Carolina. Skip the table and head the bar. The bartender is SO nice and has great recommendations for drinks and creates a lot. I order the Coastal Car Hopper is a favorite of mine and is blackened fish (or shrimp) taco with pineapple slaw, cheddar cheese and lime crema. Bring your dog and sit outside and look out on the river below. Come during the holidays and look out on the picturesque town and their holiday tradition of "Lights and Luminaries." After dinner, let the fun times roll as Innovation Station Brewery is right next door. read more

Worst restaurant experience I've had. Waited 1 hour and 30 minutes, every other table had been turned over. Some multiple times. We asked the server if everything was okay and she said "all I do is put the orders in" . So we asked if we could see a manager, she replied "I am The manager." If you're the manager you should know more than "all I do is put the order in". We orders taco, salad, and sides. Nothing that would have taken more than 1 hour 30 minutes. At no point did any one address us and offer maybe a salad or assure us food was on the way. Awful, rude service. Manager should know more than "all I do is put the order in". And should be ashamed at the horrible service in the restaurant, and offer a solution instead of attitude. read more

I don't write reviews very often but we had the best lunch here today. We're from out of town and we're blown away by both the food and the service. The shrimp and grits were perfect, creamy, and full of flavor. Savannah, our server, helped us make great lunch selections. She was nice, knowledgeable, friendly, and made it a great experience. 10/10 would eat here again. read more

Really good food and service. Don't let the exterior fool you it's really good. The sweet potato tots are to die for. Inside and outside seating. Pay attention to the train schedule it can get crowded read more

We were very disappointed in the limited menu. My husband and I both got a hamburger with a side salad. It was good but definitely not worth the amount of money we paid for the meal. Sorry but I would not go back. Also, I asked for my hamburger to be cooked well done and it was not cooked all the way through. read more

Food was unique and good. We had to wait quite a long time for our drinks and then our food, but you could tell the staff was all running around trying to take care of things, so we didn't mind. We had watermelon mojitos that were phenomenal. Our food was hot and fresh when we got it and we all left happy and full. Would recommend this place for some fun local flavors. read more

Right next to a brewery and a train stop. Very crowded when train is in. We came after the train had been there awhile and immediately got a seat. Outside seating if pup is with you. Missed the the fried deviled eggs as that was on the menu during the week and evenings. Lobster crab bisque was one of our group's favorites. read more

So sad! We were so excited to come here. I took my parents here and I'm shocked their reviews were as good as they are. Food took over 50 minutes to come our. Ordered bacon as an appetizer and that took 20 minutes. Staff barely checked on us. Fries were as hard as rocks. Pimento cheese grilled cheese was good but not for $11.. not much food given so I'm still hungry. Bill for 4 was about $80 when it should have been $30. The inside had a cool vibe. read more

My family of 4 loved our experience here! Everything was delicious. The service was genuine, not fake. They pay attention to all of the little things. It's just delicious and a wonderful vibe. My 12 yr old loved his steak tacos, my 17 year old raved about her grilled cheese and my husband finished the kitchen sink . The sweet potato tots are worth stopping for alone! Farm to table! Fresh. What a gem of a place :) We will seek out this place the next time we head to Pigeon Forge. Don't think. Just go!!! read more

this is the second time we have eaten here, and both times now we have waited over 45 minutes for any food to come out. servers barely check in on tables and will always blame it on being busy. this is honestly unacceptable. they have some rude workers but they do have a couple really sweet and hardworking employees. the food isn't worth the wait but it is a fun little joint to try out and then move on from. read more

Cuban and Pimento sandwiches were good but very small. Yummy sweet potato tots but very small portion for the price.

Came in the evening as it was nice out. Sat out back. Had a curry dish. Very tasty. Fresh. Caveat, slow service . Watched some come , wait, leave. Be patient folks, still. Deadly disease out here and not like restaurants are fully staffing still! read more
