The food is always great and have been here many times. I love the veggie burger, which is not typical - made of all fresh ingredients like black beans and sweet potatoes. French fries are hand cut and burgers are super juicy and big with lots of ooey-gooey cheese. Sweet potato quesadillas are also good. Small menu with about 10 items. You really can't go wrong. Picnic tables outside and you can bring your dog. Innovation brewery right there where you can grab a beer and bring it to your table. You can also sit at innovation and cosmic will bring your food to you there. read more

Cosmic Carry Out - Blast-off burger - Food Trucks Near Me - Sylva, North Carolina

Cosmic, indeed! From the owner's facial hair to the burger itself to the couple next to us performing too much PDA, what an experience. Cool little spot high above Scott Creek with average burger truck prices, but greatly above average burgers and fries. We tried to find a good burger in Bryson city but nothing seemed awesome. This one did just the trick. Will return and would recommend. read more

Cosmic Carry Out - Burger and fries overlooking Scott Creek - Food Trucks Near Me - Sylva, North Carolina

Probably the best burger in Sylva. The hand cut fries are also very good, whether plain or with the numerous options to dress them up. On a sunny and warm day like yesterday, it's very pleasant to sit by Scott Creek and eat on the picnic tables. Service is a little slow, but that's only because everything is being cooked from scratch. It's worth the wait. It's a little pricey, but you'll know where the money went when you dig in. read more

Incredible burger! Seriously one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Juicy, flavorful, and stacked just right -- every bite was perfect. You can tell they use good ingredients and actually care about what they're serving. The fries were crispy, the burger was hot and fresh, and the service was super friendly. I heard they use local beef and local produce. Can't wait to go back. read more

The fries are absolutely amazing! Nothing wrong with the burger but if you want a well done no pink at all this is not the place for you, everything else Is fantastic! read more

Loved it! We came to Innovation a few nights in a row after hiking each day and noticed the Cosmic was busy and the picnic tables were packed with and also plenty of people in the brewery ordering from them as well. The smell was getting to me....so we decided to order from there on the 2nd night. My bride went with the Sweet Potato Quesadilla ($10) and she said it was okay. I however, ordered the Blast Off Burger ($12) and Spudniks ($5) and they were both fantastic! Warning - the burger was pretty sizable....much bigger than I was expecting. Highly recommend trying the burgers and fries! read more

Great Blast off burger for me and great bacon and blue for my husband. Highly recommended by the server in Innovation Brewing and she did not lie. They were fantastic to the last bite. Also great beer at innovation brewing. read more

First the good Their blue cheese burger is one of my top favorite burgers... it is excellent and always delicious. Their crew is always friendly and genuinely happy to serve you. When the days aren't SCOLDING HOT, it is nice to sit outside and have a good chat with friends over a good burger. Their fries are OK but there is no combo here so if you purchase a burger AND fries, the total is close to $20 which does not include a drink because they have no drinks... you have to go across to the bar and order a drink, which is fine... but not ideal when you're spending $$ on a burger. Parking and available seating can be difficult on busy days so beware. At the end of the day, if you're just looking for a good tasty burger, Cosmic will hit the spot!! read more

Along with a beer from Innovation, Cosmic food has always been good - but since the last time I was here (fall 2024) the price of a simple chili dog has more than doubled - now one is $12 - ridiculous!! read more

This is the perfect drive up food truck on the way from Asheville to Atlanta. Easy stop and the restaurant shares a parking lot and outside eating area with a brewery so you have inside bathrooms and beer. The food was absolutely fabulous. The best burguer I have ever eaten. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Service was great nothing to complain about. And the place is really nice and cozy, lot of places to sit and people are friendly. read more

Stop at Innovation Brewing- eat at Cosmos Carry-Out It's a permanent food truck, burgers and handcut amazing g French fries. We enjoyed the fries and the bronco burger - fresh jalapeño on the side (you never know if it's going to be a super hot one versus a easy going jalapeño) And BBQ on the side. The burger was perfectly cooked, juicy and onions nicely caramelized Bratwurst was a 4*, sounded better than it tasted as per my SIL Fries are omg delicious I saw a few FULL plates in the trash, I'll admit, I thought about pulling them out of the Tracy they were so good! Cute little town to visit read more

Sweet potato quesadilla is amazing! We always enjoy the food and quick friendly service

Our go-to!! As a non-meat eater I love the veggie options here! The sweet potato quesadilla is a regular meal for me and the house made black bean burger beats any frozen veggie burger at any other restaurant. Oh yeah, I would also sell my first born for their fries read more

Any other day my review would be 5 stars. I eat here almost monthly. Tonight was not the same. the worker was extremely rude. He was clearly new and had no sense of customer service. I went back to ask for condiments that were missing from my burger and he didn't give me the time of day. Better luck next time? 0/10 today read more

Burgers are hot, fresh, stacked with taste, and made with *real* meat and soft, spongy buns. Veggie is very spicy and tasty too! Fries are not of the crispy variety - which is perfectly OK (more like a Five Guys but tres better), and everything is cooked to order and served super fresh hot, and tasty. They do fast take out and always have the order ready in about 15-20 mins. Quick pay, fast exit without having to go indoors (it's a food cart). Don't forget to grab a few beers at Innovations - the perfect complement. read more

Second time there - Veggie burgers and sweet potato, black bean quesadillas are awesome. I was there today (during the pandemic) and I witnessed the staff politely asking a woman to put on a mask. She said she didn't have one so they kindly gave her one. She then proceeded to throw it on the ground and left. That random story is my way of saying that the staff was really awesome. They stayed patient and calm during that situation. People, don't take it out on employees at restaurants. We're lucky to even have the option to be able to pick up food at open restaurants. read more

Normally would give five stars but the guy working on 12/02 just stared at us and wouldn't even open the window. Poor service, sign said open. read more

The best Cheeseburger and fries. Everything is fresh and the service is great. A must while in Sylva NC

Hot dog was basic bar s type nothing to write home about. But the chicken tacos were delicious! Only downfall is they instantly fell apart. Just had to use fingers to eat the remnants. The chicken has awesome flavor. Would definitely recommend them. read more

#1 best burger in town, #2 great customer service. Got there 10 minutes before closing, and these guys totally took care of me. They could have slapped together whatever they had, but they game me simply the best burger in town, and frankly it's at the top of my list of places to grab the ground cow patty. Will comeback for sure, and pleasantly surprised! read more

This is my 4th total burger I've consumed from this place. Each time I go it gets better and better. Fresh ingredients along with cooks who know what they are doing. 10/10 read more

People have told me this is one of the best burgers ever, so I just had to check it out. Got a cheeseburger and small fries today and I have to say this is one awesome burger! Juicy, cooked perfectly, two kinds of cheese, it was really, really good. The hand cut fries were excellent as well. Total was $9 so you cannot beat this at all. Will definitely go back to Cosmic Carry-out and try the rest of what they offer. read more

Cosmic Carry Out - Big Cheeseburger! If you are in Sylva stop by and get one for sure! - Food Trucks Near Me - Sylva, North Carolina

Hands down best burger I have ever had!!!! I definitely recommend this place complimented by a awesome brewery Innovations brewery

One of my Top 3 favorite places in the Sylva/Dillsboro area. I know what you're thinking... "of course it is. Not much else to choose from." Put it in Asheville, Charlotte, or Atlanta and I'd say the same thing - Top 3. I'm partial to the Bacon Bleu (Blue) Burger and fries. If you like bleu (blue) cheese, you'll love this burger. I've also tried the street tacos (4 out of 5, authentic), brat dog (2 of 5), and sweet potato quesadilla (3 of 5). As for the location, the place is a food trailer parked outside of a local brewery - Innovations. Doesn't look like much, but the food is great. I don't believe they serve drinks (I've never asked), but they share a courtyard/picnic area between the two places and you're welcome to grab a free water from a pour spout inside Innovations or purchase whatever you please from the bar. How to order: walk up to the trailer window, place your order (menu is beside the window), pay your check, and grab a seat. When your food is done, they'll bring it to you whether you're sitting at one of the picnic tables right there, inside Innovations at one of their tables, or at the bar. You can also call ahead and swing by to pick it up. read more

I visit this food truck at least once a week (normally on Tuesday) and have never been disappointed. Hand-patty burgers are their specialty. Whether it be the Bronco Burger with bacon, bbq sauce, sautéed onions and jalapeños, or the Bacon Bleu with bacon, bleu cheese and sautéed onions.......or the wonderful Pattie Melt, you can't go wrong. Nothing better than a beer or two from Innovation Brewery to wash it down. A great dog-friendly patio to hang out on. read more

Came by after a hike and was definitely impressed. Good food and great vibe. Ordered their blast off burger and fries and it was amazing. Highly recommend! read more

The veggie burgers and fries were just ok. I don't understand how you can have all those ingredients including sautéed onions and have the end result just taste like mustard. My husband thought the same thing. Server was rude too, for no reason. It was nice to sit outside on the river & have a beer from Innovation, but the nicest thing I can say about the veggie burger is that it was bigger than the bun. read more

Great burgers! Antonia was super friendly and had awesome customer service. I highly recommend this place for a burger and beer!

Cosmic, as in, they can't get an order right, no matter the number of tries. Love the Innovation brewery, but this burger truck sucks compared To previous visits. Stick with the pizza place next door, or roll the dice. My wife had the chili dog, chili looked like fried dog poop. They forgot my hamburger, and then in the second try, forgot to put any fixings on it. Oh wait, forgot to mention fries that were cooked in either low temp or bad grease. If this is the same truck as my previous visits over the years, it has taken a bad turn down no eats highway. read more

Right on point! This is food that someone paid attention to, as I like to say. My wife had the bronco burger and I had the veggie burger. Both were spot on in the balance of flavors. They pair very well with a brew from the adjoining Innovations Brewing. The only thing that wasn't up to par were the hand cut fries. They looked like they were laying in the bottom of the fried for a couple days....They were really busy so maybe somebody forgot about them but the burgers more than made up for what the fries lacked. Definately the place to stop in a town with few options. read more

Cosmic Carry Out - Food Trucks Near Me - Sylva, North Carolina

We were at Innovation Brewing enjoying some beers with a group of friends. The only food option there is Hummus and Chips, so we decided to order some burgers from a carry-out trailor on the premises. First of all 2 burgers and one order of fries is $20. Pretty steep, but with no other option, we went for it. Menu is simple, cheeseburger $8, bratwurst $6 (!!!), hot dog $4 (). I ordered a burger with everything plus add bacon, a blue cheese burger and an order of hand cut wedge fries. Others from my party placed orders after me. After about 20 minutes orders were brought to our table. Everybody got their food but me and my partner. So i went back to the trailor and asked what happened. I was rudely asked "what do you mean?!", i explained i didn't get my food and my order was placed first. So, a girl that brought the food to the table, said she left a cheeseburger at the table. Well, yes she did leave a cheeseburger in a foil wrapper on the table that nobody ordered. I checked if it had bacon on it and it didn't, so i assumed it wasn't mine. She said that's what i ordered, which i didn't. And i explained i ordered another burger and fries too. I was handed a burger wrapped in aluminium foil from under the counter by another girl. She said here's the other one. Really!?! I asked what about the fries? They both looked at each other and i was told they will bring it to the table. I took the burger and went back to the table. Well i ate my burger with no bacon, my partner ate her blue cheese burger half ways. It was raw in the middle (see attached photo). After that, the girl from the trailor came by and slapped a tray of fries on our table and walked away. Guess what... a handful of regular cur fries burnt to a dark chocolate color. What an experience. Never, ever eat there. I dare you. It will make you sick one way or another, to your stomach, with the straight out of hell customer service or with the sickening prices for bad food. read more
