As a college student I go here all the time for a sweet treat, and has a ton of cool art to look at while you wait.

Such a cute and delicious addition to Sweeten Creek! The menu can be a little overwhelming at first if you haven't had bubble tea before (me!) but the staff was very helpful with questions I had and giving recommendations. Plus I don't think you could go wrong with any drink combination here. My favorite boba is the popping boba by far! It's so delicious and adds an extra burst of flavor to your drink. If you're having trouble making a decision just ask the staff! Lychee is a fairly neutral boba flavor and I like that one a lot and pomegranate a lot. I've tried the Taro (purple) and matcha (green) teas and they're both equally as amazing! I really want to try the Thai tea one next.

The Bluebird Bubble Tea Bus is a food truck, except it doesn't sell food - it sells boba tea. Offered hot or cold with a variety of flavors and boba options (or none at all!), they provide a high quality product with lots of customization options. So far I've tried their standard Milk Tea, Taro, Strawberry, and Honeydew, with both brown sugar boba (chewy, slightly sweet) and fruity boba (which pop with a burst of fruit juice when you bite them). All have been excellent, but the Taro really stands out as an incredibly delicious sip. They also offer split cups which allow you to get two flavors at the same time, which is nice. Prices are reasonable at $3.75 for a regular or $4.75 for a large, and the women who run the truck are incredibly nice and helpful. I needed a pick-me-up one day and asked which flavor had the most caffeine and they immediately guided me toward the classic milk tea. Their website provides their schedule of where they'll be located on any given day, so if it's in your area definitely go and check it out!

I love boba tea and sometimes places disappoint with overly sweet tea or hard bobas. This place does a great balance and they even have the popping bobas and their tea is just sweet enough. There are plenty of flavors and even offer oat milk for us lactose intolerant types. I got the tarp root one which is an intensely purple one with a flavor similar to a yam with a smooth and creamy texture. Service is kind and zippy I was impressed there was a big line when I got there but it felt like no time at all. The space is tiny but perfect for a grab and go boba joint. I will definitely return to try the rest of the flavors.

This place is so cute! The service was amazing, my friends and I were greeted as soon as we came. They recognized that we weren't from Asheville and directed us to the menu to decide what we wanted to try. The decor is so lovely with different local artists work that you can buy as well. The boba was delicious and I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

I want to buy everything in this place!!! The lemonade is amazing, my sister always gets the milk tea and the people working here are just so sweet! I love all the art work on the walls too. And if you don't know what you want or have never tried it, they are always full of great suggestions.

I wouldn't say this place impressed me as much. I've tried a couple other Bobba places with better tasting flavor options. We got most popular Strawberry Bobba tea with brown sugar Bobba balls... not too impressive. It tasted like strawberry flavored milk with ice.

We were visiting Asheville and found this cute boba food truck. Prices were reasonable and the boba was great! We tried the Sakura rose tea, matcha tea, galaxy lemonade, and autumn spice tea.

This is a food truck which is set up outside a brewery with picnic table seating. As of this…read morewriting, it has just reopened after being closed during a time of hurricane-related chaos. It was highly regarded before that, and offers to make many of its menu items vegan. I was a tad disappointed that the bar promised some non-alcoholic hop water options but didn't seem to have any in stock, which may relate to the storm as well. This food truck, however, delivered the goods. It is not a speedy process, and when I tried visiting before they sold out of food before the end of the day so I came early this time. They give you a buzzer so you can wander around and order drinks. When my tofu arrived, it was mouthwatering. The amount of rice was quite large, but this was some aromatic rice, and the tofu itself tasted like high quality stuff and was bathed in an herbal, spicy flavor that I imagine is about as close to Thailand as you could get in Asheville. It was a lot of money for a modestly sized disposable bowl of food, but the quality merited a visit. I doubt I could have found myself eating anything more delicious. And yet, their other menu options remained on my mind.

I was never all that impressed with food trucks until moving here to Asheville. Given the…read morecomplementary relationship with the many craft breweries that don't do food themselves, plus all the local outdoor events for 9 months of the year, there are some truly great food trucks based here. Cassia is definitely one of the top ones. This is some of the best and most original Thai food I've ever had. They are a regular at Cellarest Beer Project in West Asheville. The food is prepared fresh, but the wait is not too long. And if you sit in the right spot, you may be able to enjoy the fragrant scent of Thai food as it is being prepared in their mobile kitchen. We started with the Firecracker sweet potatoes. These amazing little jewels are mashed sweet potatoes wrapped in the same coating as you'd normally have with a spring roll or won ton. They had a wonderful crispy outside with a flavorful sweet potato mash inside. The spicy mayo dipping sauce was excellent, but we also loved dipping these into the golden curry sauce that came with our curry duck. Where do you ever see curry duck BTW? The duck was cooked perfectly and not at all grisly or chewy. The curry sauce was absolutely incredible. Great flavor along with a nice kick. Between eating the duck and jasmine rice with the curry sauce and dipping some of the Firecrackers in it, there was literally not a speck of curry sauce left behind. We also had chicken Laab Gai. The mint leaves in this were really tasty and not overwhelmingly minty. The sticky rice was good. These came with cabbage leaves that you can roll the meat and rice up in to create a sort of Thai taco. This was good, but not at the same level as the duck curry. Maybe a bit more sauce would help. Prices are restaurant level but well worth it given this is restaurant-quality food or better. We paired the food with two fine beers from Cellarest. The Czech-style Moonglade Tmave pivo had great character. The Weald Oktoberfest Marzen lager was also excellent. Both went very well with the Thai food. Apart from maybe the dead of winter, this will be a place we go back to for more great Thai food.

I was starving and saw their booth and a chalkboard of menu options I've never tried or heard of before. I approached and when asked what I would like, I was honest that I was unfamiliar with their cuisine but I trusted them. They asked how I wanted it and I said "how you would eat it! They made me the most incredible meal that has ever passed my lips. I followed Habibi Village on their Instagram so I could chase that high- and boy did I. I NEEDED more of that unique deliciousness. But I was saddened that I was only able to get their Za'aatar once or twice a week and had to travel to multiple spots around the city to a variety of markets and at such limited hours. It is with all of the joy in my heart to support Habibi Village at their brick-and-mortar location as they have grown to a full time spot. Their owner absolutely POURS his soul and spirit into this business and into every meal he serves the community. Plenty of restaurant owners love what they do and love their patrons but this owner stands above and beyond when it comes to passion. This gentleman cares about his food and his patrons on a deep and genuine level that you feel and taste. I clearly can't praise Habibi Village enough. Thank you for what you do for our community and our bellies!
