Once seated, we were promptly served and received our drinks. Great options in beverages and a couple of really good appetizers. Several main courses were tried, but I had the blackened grouper sandwich with a side of the amazing Parmesan rosemary potato wedges. Fried in beef tallow, they were life-changing. Others at the table, tried some of the bowls and no one at the dinner left hungry or disappointed. Portions were generous, and if you don't want something too large they do offer a little smaller sized serving at a discount. Thought that it may not be enough food (since there were only 2) but they were huge and filling. Also I liked that it wasnt overly sweet like at other hot honey spots. The best were the wedges though. Easily the best wedges that I've ever had. They are cooked in tallow and they were so crispy and delicious. Even though all of the food was good, would come back just for the wedges. Service was friendly, and parking is available.

Both dishes were similar, with one served with macaroni salad, rice, and crispy chicken, while the other came with rice, furikake, chicken, and a fresh cabbage salad. The menu is simple, but every bite was packed with flavor. The service was outstanding. The young man working the food truck provided service that honestly rivaled what you'd expect at a full-service restaurant. He was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. The setting is another bonus. The food truck is tucked behind a brewery, making it the perfect place to grab a drink, relax, and enjoy a delicious meal in a quiet, laid-back atmosphere. Out of all the places we tried during our trip, this was some of the simplest food--but also some of the most flavorful. It proves that you don't need a huge menu to make memorable food. We 100% recommend Rice Wagon if you're in Bryson City. Great service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere!
