    Cheeseburger

Our food was delicious! Service was great as well! Would definitely go again!! The bourbon chicken was fabulous. Perfectly done. My husband's cheeseburger was one of the best he's ever had!

    My chicken and waffles!

We decided to stop here before heading out to the mountains, and what a cute spot! We decided on the outdoor dining area which is right along the river. My partner and I ordered the chicken and waffles and the Po'Boy sandwich. Both were amazing! My chicken was very well seasoned and not a bit dry, on top of that it was cut into slices, which I personally loved! The waffles were fluffy and topped with powdered sugar! My partner's Po'Boy sandwich was also delicious, his, (and my), favorite part being the crawfish tails. Our server and the staff were all very friendly. I recommend stopping by here if you're in the area!

There isn't anything to post because I ate it so fast. My sister and I love the food, every dish from the Valentines special. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was perfect. Worth every dollar!

We are from west TN. We went to Bryson city NC for vacation. Having never been to NC, we had no idea of where to eat so we looked up places on our phone. The Tuck and Table had pics of food. Let me say that it did not disappoint. I think it was the first time we went to eat somewhere and the actual food was more impressive than the pic online. We arrived and were taken care of immediately. We were given options of where we would like to sit. Having a party of 6 we were accommodated and felt very welcomed. They moved around tables for us on the deck and we were able to enjoy our supper on the deck in open air with the view of, what the locals call "The Tuck", the Tuckaseegee River. We found out how the place got its name. The Tuck and Table offers a table on "The Tuck". I highly recommend trying this place. I would definitely go back. The service was great, everyone was friendly, the food was amazing, the scenery was beautiful. I can't say enough good things about this place. Absolutely, nothing bad about my experience.

From the beginning the ambiance was beautiful. Good lighting and a lively atmosphere. The host was wonderful taking care of us as we check in without a reservation and still set up a wonderful table for us. My mother and I ordered a drink from the bar and had two glasses as we waited for our table, the bartender was very sweet. Melissa (our server) was fantastic from start to finish, I appreciate that she kept us updated through every item we ordered. When my grandmother ordered coffee and said, "I want it right now" she had one coffee for us in 15 seconds. Absolutely amazing!!! The food was wonderful. The crab cakes were delicious!!!! The burger with pimento cheese was ok, but nothing fantastic. The steak and mushrooms I would eat over and over again. Cooked wonderfully and beautifully juicy. Overall a fantastic and delicious experience. Next time we are in town, we will be eating here any chance we get.

Requested to meet the owner in order to share my thoughts on how great the place was.

Had an amazing portobello mushroom burger with the best porch in Bryson City overlooking the Takasugi river. Perfect ambience. The service was excellent, fast and professional. I highly recommend this place.

Great food and service! The bourbon street pasta was delicious and not too heavy. We also enjoyed the family style turkey. As someone from eastern NC, their "Brunswick stew" is not what I'm used to. It was good however it was vegetable beef soup, not Brunswick stew. Still good nonetheless -- just not what I was expecting.

This place doesn't just serve food--they serve comfort, craftsmanship, and enough smoky goodness to make you wonder why you ever ate anywhere else. The star of my visit? The fried honey BBQ ribs. Good grief. These things should come with a warning label because once you take that first bite--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in that sticky-sweet honey BBQ magic--you're officially ruined for all other ribs. They're the kind of ribs that make you pause mid-bite just to appreciate what's happening. Absolute perfection. The service was exceptional from the greeter that welcomed us when we walked in to our server (Paige). Everything else followed suit: hearty portions, rich smoky flavor throughout, and sides that taste like they came straight from someone's grandma's kitchen. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere cozy, and the whole experience felt like a hug delivered through barbecue. If you're looking for a place that feels authentic, delicious, and memorable, Haywood Smokehouse deserves a spot at the top of your list. And seriously--don't leave without getting those fried honey BBQ ribs. You'll be thinking about them long after the plate is empty.

I felt that the pricing was quite fair, considering the extremely high quality. I tried the brisket and ribs and they were both top notch. The buffet is not normally something I'd chose but was where I ended up. I took it as a sign I was meant to be there. They have an entrance and exit door then the host or hostess will seat you. The buffet was $16.95 with drinks and dessert extra. This is a very busy place and they have two tables of 4 next to each other so different groups were seated at each 4 top. The buffet has one section for a salad, lettuce and toppings. Then the next section is hot foods with a variety of vegetables and meats. I remember potatoes, corn, fried chicken and meatloaf and on the end is a carving station for roast beef. But I know there were more options. The salad portion was ok but the potatoes and the corn were great. Then I had roast beef and really enjoyed that. They don't give big portions of it so you need to make a multiple trip. I did have some apples too and liked those. Service was friendly and kept my iced tea filled. I had heard about the pie so decided to get a slice of the peanut butter pie to go. The pie was ok and I wouldn't order that again. I'd return to Granny's Kitchen as the food was very good. I'd prefer ordering from a menu though rather than the buffet. But this is how they have it setup.

Yea, November 11th and we are…read moregetting snow -- and the Blue Rooster was the perfect, cozy, warm place to have an early dinner! Brandon was an excellent server, very attentive and friendly. All the food, like last time, was paced perfectly. Our apps and salad were not overlapped by my our entrees! And the rolls, c'mon! They're hot and delicious! We shared the onion strings app, tasted perfect and loved the dipping sauce. We also got side salads with ranch -- wow, you can tell it's made there, and just the right amount of dill in it! For entrees, wife and I shared the 14oz ribeye -- WOW, is it good -- with a side of broccoli. Good amount of marbling, perfect temp (medium), and juicy. MIL had the fried chicken, which was probably a 3 out of 5 for her. Only two of the four pieces were juicy, and to me it looked a little over cooked. We had no room for dessert, and the snow started coming down heavy, so we left after filling up. Make sure you don't assume anything with this place being in a strip mall -- it is sooooo good! See you again next year!
