It has a very pleasant atmosphere with attentive service and a terrific food combination. This establishment really understands its clientele while still staying true to their culture and themselves. The menu has western classics (burger, fries, sandwiches, etc), a kids menu, all day breakfasts (including an eggs benedict) and a Korean selection, simply amazing. We ordered Bibimbap and a Bulgogi burger. The Bibimbap was good but some sesame oil or additional spices would be of benefit. The veggies were of great quality and the rice was perfectly cooked. The Bulgogi burger was excellent with fresh beef and hand made fries (we ordered even more fries as they were not oily but crispy and delicious). The prices maybe abit high but the quality of the food is very good and we respect that choice. We will be returning to this true gem on the prairies.

The service is always great! Jordan, the manager, and Trina, our server, were so attentive! And we can't forget Harry the bartender. Our drinks were so good. Everyone made excellent recommendations and made the evening one to remember! The restaurant has ample parking. Handicap parking is in the back if needed. Come check it out in all the seasons. I know I'll be back for the next menu change!

Sat on the patio and it was a surprise heat wave and the umbrellas were still in storage. It's a hot one but oh so nice to be outside! Bring a hat and check the chairs before sitting in shorts! Served by Amanda today and she was impeccable. Knew exactly what we needed and when - water pitcher on the table and refills. Checked on us just enough to keep everyone looked after. The honey toast was the popular item at the table today ... loaded brioche with strawberries, syrup, and sweet topping. Everyone was pleased. Also a Juicy Lucifer - huge patty! Much squishing to fit in the toothy human. The chips were crisp and popular theft item at the table. We should have ordered an extra side serving! The celiac (me) has the special brunch item - croque madame with gf toast and hollandaise sauce and hash browns on the side! What a feast that was! Got a take-away to go. Gf bread is available to modify dishes that can be adapted. We had waters and lemonade to drink and the lemonade was really tasty! Would recommend. The photo of carpaccio was from our previous visit - not sure it's on the menu any longer but it was also fabulous! I might post a photo someone took of the honey toast if they share with me!

The borscht was a 4/5 (a bit too chunky for my liking) but the Ukrainian late was perfection. The perogies are stuffed full and a very good size. The cabbage rolls are proper sour cabbage rolls (not the German type that often gets served as Ukrainian). Served with local kolbasa sausage and coleslaw. Also a generous portion of onions and bacon. Definitely worth the drive from Edmonton.

As you would expect the people here know how to cook Ukrainian meals as if they've done it their whole lives because they probably have. It's also incredibly busy here for a Friday at almost 1:00 pm. Most Edmonton cafés would love to be this busy. I ordered the soup and sandwich combo and chose egg salad on brown bread and a "small" bowl of borscht. The sandwich was average but the borscht was excellent. My wife ordered the clubhouse sandwich and I tasted it too. The clubhouse had very crispy bacon just like it should be. It was very good. I had coffee and it came with lots of refills. My cup didn't hit empty until I wanted it to. There was a nice selection of pies, and the sign said Friday is pie day. I tasted her cherry pie. It was quite good, even better than average. This café makes a wonderful stop for lunch if you are in the area. It's easy to find and right across the street from Strawnichy Sausage place.
