I walked into the Footlocker store and the first thing I noticed was what I thought customer to employee ratio. I knew exactly what I wanted so I walked over to the display of Uggs. Looking around for an employee for a few minutes I grabbed the shoe and went to the counter. I was met by several different people mid way back of the store asking if I needed this shoe. I don't see why all employees are in the back of the store when the majority of people are in the front? I requested my shoe from a friendly associate she went to get the shoes. About 10 minutes later she came out of the back with a Nike in her hand and she saw me and said she'd go back and get the shoe. Okay, but why. I got the shoes. I went to the register and had already realized the $10 price difference in the shoes online retailer Uggs.com, and Macy's which were $10 less then Footlocker. Since it's the Holiday season and I was in a hurry I didn't want to walk all the way through the mall to Macy's. I figured Footlocker would be competitively priced, nope. Also, at the register I asked if they price matched and the person checking me out was polite and said they'd have to get a manager to find out. I didn't want to cause a scene as being a troubling customer so I told them to disregard that. I believe it could have been possibe for this Footlocker to get five stars. However, I notice many bad reviews and unfortunately I had to ad another. Hope to see a better Footlocker soon. read more

1/16/26@. 10:15am I entered the store to purchase a pair of shoes I had been interested in. The sole employee working at the time (long black hair, short Asian girl caked in makeup) inquired if I required assistance. I informed her that I wanted to buy the Jordan's displayed on the wall. However, she ignored me to attend to a younger Caucasian adult male. She took him to the back, showed him various items, and engaged in conversation. Ultimately, he departed without making a purchase. She lost a guaranteed sale from me after that incident and likely caused Foot Locker to lose a valued customer, which gives the store a negative reputation due to her discriminatory behavior. I went back downstairs to Journey's to buy a different shoe that the salesperson had shown me earlier before going upstairs to footlocker. They acknowledged my complaint and said this is how that store typically treats its customers. Don't shop there you guys. We deserve better service from better quality than this sh!t hole. I would be ashamed to have some one representing my company. They will do nothing about it I will bet. read more

I am over the moon with the service I received today!! Vic and Wil both greeted me with a warm hello upon my arrival. Both of them were kind, respectful, and helped me find the right shoes for my son. I had ordered shoes online in a specific color but they were too small so I had to exchange them. While they didn't have the color I wanted they helped me find another shoe to replace them. Another thing, I didn't have a receipt because I had lost my email... instead of being annoyed they had poise and were just so peaceful with the whole transaction, imputing the right information, etc. I wanted to add that while Vic and Will were helping me they were simultaneously greeting/helping other customers, most of the customers didn't return the kindness. Once I crossed the threshold immediately an associate name Katrina, approached me with the most professionalism and immediate attention to what my needs were with a warm greeting of how can I help you. I haven't seen customer service like that in a long time. Katrina was the only associate on the floor, but had two other customers that received that same customer service that I had. Footlocker, the original spot of my younger days to get shoes. It's still alive and kicking huh? I remember when I was younger I always wondered why referees were working at a shoe store. It never made any sense no matter how my family tried to explain it to me. I'll admit that it's been awhile since I shopped at a Footlocker. Back when I was younger I would go here to purchase the ever so coveted Air Jordan's. Now I'm back to see if they got any good deals on Adidas and Filas (still love Jordan's though.) Surprisingly enough I found a pair in the kid's section. Size 7 of these sweet looking pink Fila's. You bet I grabbed that and it was on sale. On the other end of the store, my brother was looking for his pair of Jordan's. It was busy on this day but the two people who helped us were so wonderful. They were quick to come to us when we held a shoe up and had that "I need help someone omg" look in our eyes. Came in for a specific pair of Nike Air Max 270's because the online website said I could pay online & pick up at store. Before I ordering them, I decided to go down to the mall and see if they have them in stock. Edgar? He was either Filipino or Mexican. I tried to ask him for a size, but he was already helping another customer. Brian, a younger dude asked if I needed help so I asked if he got these 270's in 7.5 women's. He came back and said No and they don't have this color-way coming in anymore? I'm like ??? Because online said I could literally pick it up today if I ordered. The store was pretty busy, as expected on a Saturday afternoon. The first person we talked to pointed the other side of the store for kids shoes rather than assisting us directly or connecting us to someone in the kids section. Once we moved to the kids row we were assisted by two people. One guy called another guy who was in the back shoe area to request the pair we wanted to look at. The best part of the experience was that they offer price match to any of the stores in the mall. The Jordans priced at $140 at Footlocker cost is just $93 tax included, for the price I found online at another retailer that happened to be down the hall. An additional bonus was the courteous attention by the two unnamed gentlemen who assisted us and the manager. Nice, newer location in the mall. Their in-stock inventory is very limited for boys who no longer wear kid's sizes (which is size 7 and under), but are still on the small side of men's sizes (like 8, 8.5). So our choices are extreeeeeemely limited. Or else they say to go online. For Christmas I got a pair of black Cons. Ive wanted a pair for awhile and was very excited to get them. I open the box, I say Yay!, I get them out and one shoe doesn't seem to fit properly. Actually, I couldn't get it on my foot at all. I was having an evil step sister Cinderella moment if you will. I look at the shoe and realize that one was my normal sized 7 and the other shoe was a size 4. Much like a size 0, I will never be able to wear a size 4. So I had to take my new gift down to the store to find the right size. Luckily I still had the receipt. I got to the store and was approached by an employee and I explained the issue. He took a look at the shoes and says that he'll go in the back to see if maybe there was a box with the the same issue and we could just find the match. As I waited for him another employee came over and wanted to see my receipt, just to make sure it wasn't her who made the faux pas. It wasn't her and she walked away. They did actually find the mixed up shoes in the back and I was given the correct size 7. Then they made me wait in line to process some type of exchange. I don't know why? I had a receipt and it was their screw up. Just let me go. I was then subject to a ridiculously slow long line. They only had one employee working the register and there were at least 8 people wondering around. The other employees were just milling about. It was not a very efficient use of time. read more

First off, the guy that was helping us he was very helpful but when he gave the shoes to the cashiers that's when it all went bad for them. I have to give this footlocker a 5 star review! The staff there are super welcoming and ready to help! As soon as I walked in, there was at least 3-4 people treating me and my wife with smiles on a holiday weekend. They were fully staffed and ready to rock. That being said, I have to give a special thanks to the manager on shift at the time. Mr. Carzye Stevens. He helped me fine the shoes that I had been searching for everywhere. He not only was patient but he was also very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I wish every shopping/footlocker experience was like this particular one. From now on I will be going to this specific store as long as he is the manager there. I live in Oakland and it's a bit of a commute but it is well worth the customer service that he and the staff there provided. PROS - Pizza Smell .. is that just me? - Decent Amount of Seating Area CONS - Rushed Feeling while Shopping - Either Feels Sales Driven or Ignored Located in the Sun Valley Mall, on the second floor next to Johnny Rocket's and across from Vans, is the strongly pizza box scented Foot Locker. My fiance and I frequent this Foot Locker upon EVERY visit to the Sun Valley mall, along with the other competitor shoe stores downstairs. It boggles our minds how the pizza box scent from Foot Locker can linger out past the stores entrance, and we also wonder what the purpose of this scent is... Anyways, every time I have visited this location, aside from the acknowledged "Welcome to Foot Locker" upon entering, I have felt intimidated and uncomfortable. Mind you, I do not wear the latest trends and I am not a shoe head, but regardless, I feel that I should be treated as any other customer and approached to see if I need help. [12/06/2017 around 4pm] I was greeted upon entering by Karl at the register, and I walked straight to the women's section to the mid-left wall, and started looking for some Adidas to try on. I grabbed several Adidas NMDs R1/R2 some PrimeKnits to request in my size.. but first tried on the size 7s on the rack to get an idea of Adida's sizing. Kris came up to me and asked if I the display shoe was my size, and/or if I needed any other sizes. I asked for size 7s in two other colorways, and he immediately looked them up in the system and went to grab them. He politely got the right shoe of each untied and ready for fitting.. but then it felt like he was hovering and waiting for me to put the shoe on. Then after I stated I didn't want the first pair, he immediately got it ready to go back in the box and assumed I wasn't going to try the second colorway.. I requested a half-size up for the second colorway, and instead of letting me continue to try on the shoe, he states he'll "wait until I try it on to save him a trip". To me, this made me feel RUSHed.. I feel he could've addressed the other couple that entered the store as I continued trying the shoe on. After I finished fitting on the second one, he prepped it back into it's box and went to grab the half-size up in the second colorway, got it ready for fitting and took the second shoe from my hand so he could prep it for fitting as well.. and then walked off to help another customer. Karl, at the register, was polite and patient with me. He helped me sign up for the loyalty program, took the time to explain it and did not make me feel rushed or stupid at all. Overall, I will return to this Foot Locker as it holds more options than one of the other Foot Lockers in the area. My friend was looking for a specific pair of shoes. She preferred the men's selection as the women's does not have much to offer in terms of color way. A worker who was not wearing the same uniform as the other employees helped my friend. She tried to ask for a size in men's but the guy said "we don't carry that" Fair, it was a small size. She asked for the same style in the women's section. We felt very rushed and the guy was hovering over us throughout the entire time. Then, another worker kept asking us if she liked the shoe or not and she kept saying she was still looking at them and expressed how she likes the color way in the men's. The guy replied, "Well it's men's style and women's style. They're different sizing. That's why its mens and women's, not together" At this point we were both getting frustrated by my friend really wanted a shoe. The workers were treating her as if she doesn't know common sense or knowledge about the shoes. She then picked up another shoe at the men's and was looking at it. As she turned around, the worker (by the way the one who helped us first was nowhere to be found) was looking at her and did a gesture where he said no with his hand. Friend: Can I get this in a size 8? Worker: It's gonna be too big Friend: I like my shoes big can I just get the smallest size and see how it fits? Worker: You're holding it. It's an 8 Friend: Can I see the other pair? Worker: I guarantee you it's gonna be too big on you don't bother with the other one. At that point, my friend and I decided to leave. She just responded with "Alright" and tried to put the shoes back in the box from the other pair where the worker said "Just leave it we'll take care of it." They were rude from the start and my friend was willing to buy a shoe but because of their attitude we left. It was bad because kids footlocker was SO nice to us so we were expecting the same here. The employees here are shady and dishonest. There was a recent release of a popular shoe at Champs and then Footlocker (Footlocker owns all the footstores, included Footaction so they can see each others inventory). Champs didn't get them in but they did show that Footlocker got a full restock in. I go there and buy a pair and it was relatively easy because it was a less popular colorway. Fast forward 4 days, a more popular colorway drops. I happened to go to another Footlocker in Sac first because I knew this one was definitely stocking these. I waited around but the manager there was super helpful, made the drop go really smooth and reserved spots (but not sizes) for everyone who had waited that morning. Was really honest about the fact that some sizes would run out and employees had first shot. Fine. I got my shoes barely but I was happy because they didn't try to dick us around. Now before I head down back down to Concord and I do an inventory check again for this popular colorway so I can get another pair for a friend. The system shows that Footlocker Sun Valley has almost a full size run (8, 9.5, 10, 11, 12) so great! I might as well check right? I get there and the girl who helps me says they don't carry that shoe in any colorways and never have. Uhmmm I just bought a pair in a different color 4 DAYS AGO. "Ohhh that was probably a return; we get alot of those. You should check SF Westfield". ***** YOU GUYS GOT A FULL RESTOCK 4 DAYS AGO WHY YOU LYING. Today, system still shows 9.5 available but they still act like they don't know. Yeah employees get first dibs whatever, but if a PAYING customer wants to buy, you can't feign ignorance like you never heard of that shit in your life. Wow. Everyone's reviews on here differs from my experience immensely. I'll point out a few associates that have helped me before and always give great service. Kris is always great and knowledgeable on what shoes to hoop in. Eric is always helpful and I believe he is the store manager so he is the man to go to. The tall guy with spikey hair has helped me in the past . Overall even if they don't have the shoe they offer to order it with FREE shipping if you're a member. Love footlocker and this one in particular. I don't feel rushed as I don't mind them "hovering" I just view it as great service and they're ready to help. If you guys read this keep it up read more

Order acknowledgement number 21762151 Just placed this order last night. This morning i received an email saying my order was ready I was excited since this was christmas gift. I called the store to assure it was ready gentleman in the store said it was ready. I also obtained instructions on how to get in quick and leave since i avoid the mall as much as possible. It has been years since i have been there since they tend to hire a lot of teenagers that are not professional or know how to conduct business. I arrived gave my email receipt to the gentleman he goes to the back for a few minutes. Then comes back and tells me they dont have it and i would have to wait for them to call me. I stated that i just called and someone could have told me that before i drive into crazy parking lot with all these christmas shoppers. I then asked Andrew which i believe was the manager, for a refund since i did not plan on going through this again. He refused and said he would have to wait for product to arrive so he could do refund. I then called foot locker customer service for them to refund me. She refunded me the amount and told me it would take about 7-10 days for refund to reflect. Needless to say i wont be shopping here again and being in customer service you would think they would offer some alternative solution but no attempt was made. Ok I've gave this location multiple chances and every time it's such a horrible experience. No one likes working here and everyone seems to hate life. They basically all work here for the employee discount. Everyone's so rude and miserable. I'm standing at the register exchanging shoes and the girl helping looks so angry saying "I can try"....not sure what there is to try and do? You're doing an exchange....either you weren't trained to do one properly oooor you're just saying that because you're lazy and purposely are trying to be rude. Also, while we were standing there someone stole a pair of shoes and they did nothing about it. The guy literally walked out with the pair and no one questioned him or did anything about it. The manger is always great to me and my wife she feels comfortable shopping for my shoes there even if I'm not there that is a testament to his customer service. Not only is he very professional he goes above the call of duty.. he even showed us a app on his phone that has a bar code to make ordering shoes easier. I'm usually a impulse buyer. Went here to buy a pair of shoes for my boyfriend for his birthday. It was a week day, during the middle of the day, and the store wasn't busy, so I was surprised none of the workers greeted me or asked me if I needed any help. I went to the counter and the 2 guys that were working there were chatting. I politely said, "Excuse me, can one of you help me find a pair of Air Max's in all white or all black?" The worker that helped me was nice, but wasn't really helpful. I asked him if he had a certain pair they had on display, but in all black or all white, he said, "Uhhh I don't know but let me check." He then pulled his cell phone out and stepped aside and Googled the shoes on his phone. I could've totally done that myself! Another customer in the store was actually more helpful. I guess he had overheard my convo with the Foot Locker worker. The customer said, "Check these shoes out, they're all black and they're on sale too!" I was like, "Oh thank you!!" (This was all while the worker was standing in the corner of the store looking at his phone....) The customer also told me that if I didn't find what I was looking for at Foot Locker to go to Champs because he's pretty sure they have the shoes I was looking for. LOL! So that's what I did.
