I needed to get my car smogged and was going to get my car washed next door afterwards. After getting my car smogged I noticed that my reverse camera was no longer working (was working before the smog check). After the car wash I went back to inquire if they knew what might have happened. I was not accusing them, just wondering if they had an idea what might of happened or had seen this kind of thing happen before. Maybe a fuse blew or something? The younger man working there who did the work was rude and kind of a jerk. He told me they were not responsible and I need to go to my mechanic. The more I inquired to what might have happened the more curt he got. He even said, "people are always blaming us for what's wrong". Really? Honestly I wasn't blaming or accusing, just inquiring, but now, I am wondering. There were no other customers waiting, but he didn't want to talk with me any further and kept telling me, "go to your mechanic" (probably said it about 5 times or more). My car passed the smog, but I still have no rear camera. Guess I will go see my mechanic, but I know where I won't be going to get my car smogged again. read more

My go-to place for smog checks when registration renewal time comes around. They are fast, professional, kind, and reasonably priced. The couple of times I've been here I was the first customer when they open right at 9am, and I've been done by 9:10am. They send your results straight to the DMV. I really just wanted to do a check-in but I don't see the link. This is my third visit to Foothill Quicky Smog, and they really put the quick in quicky. I put them on my stopwatch, and from the time I pulled in until I was done, a total of 7 minutes and 23 seconds elapsed. That includes about 30-45 seconds until the gentleman came from the back of the shop to the counter to check in. This place is the best. It's hidden behind the car wash, but just head to the back of the car wash and it's to your left. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my smog checks from now on. Creepy Dude Went to get smog teston 03/30/2023, employee made complaint to me about personal space? tried to figure out where he coming from with that remark, so i asked him what he meant, and he said I got too close to him, this guy has issues, no way to treat customers man. This place lives up to its name, Quicky. I drove in without an appointment and was out of there in less than 10 minutes. I showed him my phone to get their deal and it was $45 out the door. I needed the Star Smog and this place was it. They also seemed to respect mask wearing. When I pulled up, they weren't wearing a mask. When I got out with my mask on, they put theirs on to help me out. This was nice as they didn't know if I was immunocompromised or what, but they were respectful in that regard. It is in a bit of a confusing spot, you have to go past the car wash and turn left and left again to get to the back where they are. Luckily, they had signs out directing people so it wasn't too hard to find. Glad to have found this smog place! read more

This was my first time having a smog test completed in the State of CA. I searched online for deals and ratings and decided on trying Foothill Quicky Smog. They were quick and though there is no air conditioned seating inside, we were in the shade and there was a breeze. There were two vehicles in front of me and the entire time I was there was 30-45 minutes. I brought a contract from work to read and the time passed quickly. The technician was willing to explain the process they go through and what all they look for as I'm interested in understanding the process and testing. The clerk at the DMV was also impressed with the $40 price paid, which includes the fee the state gets to operate the program. The most painless smog check I've ever had. This being the first time I've ever had to get my car checked, I called ahead to see if I needed to make a reservation or anything. They were very pleasant and friendly, helping me through the process. Getting to the place is a bit confusing, it's behind the car wash and there's not a ton of parking spots. However, they work quickly to get you in and out in less than a half hour. I would absolutely go here again when the State asks me to do a smog check. read more
