First time here and I will definitely return. During a lunch hour on a rainy day, was told one car ahead of me and would be 15 min. Think I waited 7min. My 1994 BMW did not qualify for the $22+ cert fee coupon, but I only paid $45 compared to $50 and $60 quoted elsewhere. Less than 10 min and I was out the door with a coupon good for a car wash in the next 30 days. Outstanding! Oh, and for you clueless individuals that have a hard time driving behind a car wash to locate the smog station - Stop your whining and buy a GPS if your that incompetent. read more

Location is not visible from Foothill Blvd because it is actually behind the carwash. This location is a "Star" location which basically means they provide a more thourough inspection than just a normal smog check. This unfortunately led to a much longer smog check for me as the tech, which seemed like the owner of the place, required me to go to a local auto parts store and put an o ring on my oil dipstick before he gave me my passed emmisions certificate. He was simply doing his job but turned my "quicky" check into a 45 minute ordeal. While your inspection is performed you will be waiting in a noisy outdoor environment on some flimsy benches or plastic lawn chairs. I reccomend going to a non Star certified location unless your dmv printout requires it. read more

This place is fantastic. They are courteous, professional and go way beyond. Last year my wife took her car there and I went with her. She thought they did both cars, though mine was not up for a check last year and she told them to charge her for two cars. This year not only did they do a thorough, courteous and professional job on my car, when I pointed out the mistake WE had made, he checked last years records and gave me the credit, for my wife's error. I don't write reviews often but felt compelled after losing out on $50. Took my truck here and it failed due to computer communication failure. Thought it was my truck and took it to my mechanic expecting an expensive fix. Mechanic tried two different computers and both communicated just fine. Tried the smog test place at Route 66 auto repair and my truck communicated fine once again passing with flying colors. Came back here to Quick smog to tell the guy about the results and that maybe he had a bad computer. He didn't really want to hear it and kept saying something was off with my truck's computer. Just beware if he says there was a computer communication failure. read more

I called ahead and asked about their prices. I was the first one there and the older guy was kind of rude to me. I said good morning and he just replied, "Wait over there give me five minutes". Once he finally let me in he quoted me a price about $15 dollars more than the guy I spoke to about 15 minutes prior to this on the phone. Be careful with these people. They have a dude running ads for them on OfferUp that sells fake smogs named Ricardo Gonzales. Confronted them about paying my money back and about what their doing and the guy on the phone got angry and hung up on me. Grimy business people. They have another smog shop in LA that was shut down due to the fake smogs, it's called Ernest's Smogs. They'll sell you a "passed" smog that doesn't work, they'll take your money and then play dumb about it. Fuck these guys. read more

DO NOT GO HERE IT IS A SCAM!!! Today I took my mom's suv to quicky smog because i saw the add about $22 dollars. I am aware now that its says for small vehicles but the price immediately went up to fifty dollars straight and I had to wait more than an hour and a half when their was only one car ahead of my mom and I. When the man was done with the smog check he showed me the gas cap and insiststed that it was no good and yanked off the original GM cap literally YANKED it off and put his own so called NEW one and charged me an EXTRA ten dollars and I told him that "thank you but it wasn't necessary since I noticed that the grip on the so called new gas cap had the same grip as our old one" the man replied " It is up to you but know that if you don't buy the gas cap i WILL NOT PASS your smog check and you'll have to come back and well since i'm not from the area and it is an suv i figured i shpuld just pay sinve it be the same moeny spent in gas to come back but i felt very insulted and talked down to because i didn't have a choice and it just really upset me that he pulled the whole strip and gas cap to prove his point ...thanks for reading and i hope to have PREVENTED YOU A BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE :(.. read more

Sometimes you don't really appreciate how well service was until you experience bad one. I recently went with my brother to get a smog test for his car and the service was terrible. Then I realized how fantastic the experience was when I went to get my car a smog test. I definitely had to come back to write a review. I first chose to come here because I was in the area and unsure of whether my car would pass or not I needed a good price. It was Saturday afternoon and a young attractive smog technician, Nicholas, approached me. He said there would be about a two hour wait because there were four cars ahead of me. I chose to wait. Nicholas recommended I get out of my car and wait in the shade as well as offering me some water. It was a hot day. Nicholas was working very diligently. The wait didn't seem bad overall I played some games on my phone and before I knew it my car was next! Luckily my car did pass and the service was great. I left with a big smile on my face. Will definitely recommend friends and family to come here and I will definitely come back when I need a smog test again. read more
