Found this place in Upland, located behind a car wash, did very quick work but when I took my car, it didn't pass. Luckily, the problem is minor, so he told me to come back, he charged me for the service but will charge me the rest when i bring it back. No extra fees charged, still the cheapest one around my area and I live in Rancho Cucamonga, cheers. read more

I arrived early on a Saturday morning before they opened and already 2 other customers were there. I was anticipating I would be there for maybe 25-30 minutes, which would not have been a problem, but these guys are extremely efficient. A very friendly and knowledgeable man explained to me about my car not being ready because I needed to put more miles since I replaced the battery. He suggested I go to AAA dmv and ask for a temporary permit. I did and they helped me, ltoo. That's a whole other great review. read more

On Saturday afternoon, I headed over to my usual smog check place only to find out they are now closed on weekends. That's annoying! So what do I do? Check Yelp of course! I see Quicky has high marks, including a review from trusted Yelper friend Jennifer D. And Quicky is right around the corner from my usual place. When I arrive about 2 p.m., there are two people ahead of me, and two guys hustling about. They tell me it's a 15 minute wait. Unheard of, but ok, I will roll with it. Needed a Smog Check on my 2004 MBZ in order to renew my DMV registration. Saw a coupon online from www.smogtips.com for $29.99 + certificate fee ($40 bucks total). Also came with a free car wash next door!! The Smog place itself is pretty basic, nothing fancy or anything. But who cares?! The whole process took about 10 minutes and the owner (I believe he was Armenian) was real cool. The free car wash was cool too. I upgraded to a platinum wash and paid $6 more. So if you are looking for a Smog Test and Car Wash for about $40, this is the place to check out! read more

After finally paying off my car the last hurdle from the DMV before I could get my pink slip was to get a smog check. My husband said he'd found a coupon online for this place, which is the same check-in offer they have going now, $24.95 for smog check, retest if needed and a car wash. My small SUV was definitely in need of a wash, so this was a great deal! Unfortunately it ended up being too good to be true. The guy claimed it only applied to small passenger cars and said he wanted $50. Irritated, especially after it being slightly difficult to find the place, I decided that for the principle of it, even if it cost more, I'd rather give my money to someone else. I recalled seeing a guy holding a sign for quick smog checks on my way down Foothill and decided to check there. It did cost as much as he quoted me after dismissing the coupon, but the other place (AASCC, inside Route 66 Auto Repair) was really nice. Offered me a drink and got the job done quick & easy. When I first arrived, I almost forgot about the Yelp deal, but Nick reminded me when he asked me if I had any online promotions printed out. Found this place on Yelp and since I was at the mall down the street I decided to get my smog done a month early :P It's hidden behind the car wash! Drive up and the guy will have your car done quickly! I was there for exactly 7 minutes, from the time I pulled up to the time the certificate was in my hand. $35 (certificate included) is the cheapest I've seen and there's no additional fee for paying with your debit card, sweet! They also send the certificate to the DMV electronically so there's really no need to have the certificate, except for your records. If there's a wait, you can go run your car through the wash and then get a smog. read more
