I buy a lot sneakers and I have been to this store multiple times and not once was I ever greeted or acknowledged. After spending at least 3-5 minutes looking and passing by employees standing around. I make the decision to try a different store and look for a place to at least care that I'm trying to spend my money at their store. Never again, you'd think a store in a dead mall would try to make sales to keep their store from closing down so they would not lose their jobs. read more

We're of the few people who still enjoy going into stores, try things on, engage with employees, and probably make a purchase. This store at Tanforan, had 2 young employees just snacking away behind the counter with no effort at acknowledging incoming customers. Don't get me started on the numerous fixtures, tables, wall displays that needed fixing/organizing. We asked the male employee to check on a size, he asked his female coworker to check the stock room, she comes out licking her fingers, and handed us the shoe box, then returns to the counter & continued snacking with her male coworker. read more

This has to be the most unprofessional store I've ever walked into in my life. I came in on a Saturday and first thing I noticed was all 3 employees in the middle of the store talking. First I thought ok maybe they're discussing work or scheduling. But no, instead of helping myself or the other 3 customers in the store they were gossiping! The male that seemed to be the manager was the one gossiping. I was so surprised how blunt and not so quiet he was while talking about another employee whom was not present. This whole trip was awkward. I felt so bad for the employee that he really insisted on transferring to another store because he did not want her working in his store! I ended up walking out because I was waiting on a confirmation of which shoes to buy my daughter and I just couldn't sit in the store listening to him gossip any longer. When I came back after figuring out which shoes I wanted (at least 15-20 min later) they (mostly the male manager) were still gossiping and again I was not greeted at the door. Picked the shoes and paid and quickly got on my way. This was very unprofessional and despite what horrible thing this individual did, no one deserves to be talked bad upon at their work environment for everyone to hear. He even mentioned setting the worker up by having his employees record the conversation he wanted to have with her just Incase she did something crazy. Smh I would not want to work in that kind of environment nor shop here if that's how the manager is going to treat his world read more

Great customer service by Jordan!! My parents went to Dallas over the weekend and bought my baby shoes; couple situations, 1. No box/receipt and 2. Wrong size. I was able to go into the Foot Locker at Tanforan and Jordan was easy to work with. He was able to not only exchange out my shoes with no issue, but he was also able to get the right shoe size shipped out!! I love hassle-free experiences, and this was one of them!! Thanks Jordan! My husband was buying a pair of shoes here and we had our 15 month old daughter with us. The staff were not only very helpful and courteous but we also ended up walking out with a pair of great shoes for her. They had very helpful advice for my husband on his running shoes and what would make sense for the activities he wants to do. read more

This review is for the Footlocker store next to Claire's inside Tanforan mall. I called prior to coming in and asked whoever picked up the phone on where Footlocker was located near the mall, to find a parking spot that is somewhat nearer and is an easier walk since it was almost around 8:20pm. The lady who picked up the phone was not even courteous enough to tell me that I will be put on hold but instead immediately put me on hold. I was saying "hello, hello" repeatedly. I know that the line was still connected as I could hear sounds on the background. When we arrived inside the mall I purposely left my phone on, I was already on hold for 10 minutes when I walked inside the store. No customers, just a lady by the register. I then told her " I am still on hold with you on the phone"- then showed her the phone. She was not apologetic at all, claiming that it was so busy. Really? busy? 10 minutes ago? - it was only me and my 7 year old daughter who were there, even my daughter commented, "there's no one here". The lady then introduced herself as L. T. I told her that I was there to pick up an online order that I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR. Ms. L.T. had a very cold and rude demeanor and seemed to be busy with her shoeboxes than assist her only 2 customers, me and my daughter. I even asked for the manager but she just shrugged and said, "She's not here". Her demeanor was cold as the weather we've been having lately. With the bad customer service received, I didn't take the shoes that were supposed to be a present for my nephew, whom he's dying to have. The ice princess then went to process the transaction return without batting an eyelash and seemed not to care that Footlocker just lost a customer. Horrible service! read more

My favorite store to buy shoes changed since today I had a very bad experience with customer service. I got some shoes my boyfriend gave me, unfortunately they didn't fit, I asked a guy to help changed it and they told me they couldn't do nothing about it. I went to the register and a girl named Alexa was there, things got worst she even screamed at me, since that I new I'm never going back there ever again. read more

The people here are all pretty nice. They approach me for help when I'm browsing, but don't attack you. When I ask a question they can usually answer it. And my boyfriend and I were able to find shoes in his size there- which is really hard, because he's anywhere from a 15 to a 16! Also, I needed to grab a pair of pink shoe laces for some Etnies I just bought through my job. They had them, and were on sale for $0.50, from $2.50. Awesome :-)! This Foot Locker is great. Horrible customer service provided by the manager, Jordan. My son was given shoes as a gift, but were the wrong size. Happens all the time and I've received no issues in the past. This guy decides to bias his customers and denies a simple exchange for a different size. This was the same store the shoes were purchased from by the way. I was willing to pay the difference in price as well if any. I think he's on his way out because why would you cost your company's reputation on such a simple transaction. I recommend using this Tanforan Foot Locker as a return sight only to give Jordan some practice. I also spoke to customer service which I found online and they confirmed his lack of understanding of company policy and made the return happen at another location that had the size. Sounds like Jordan needs remedial training. read more

If you hate being greeted and asked if you need assistance then this is the place for you. 3 employees, 1 at register and 2 standing in the middle of store talking to each other. Walked in, they made eye contact, stared then proceeded to keep talking to each other. Luckily I was only shopping for accessories cause who knows if I actually needed shoes I probably would have had to go in the back and look for them myself. After picking up what I wanted, I proceed to register and I swear the only thing ever said during the transaction by the employee at register was "debit or credit". And this was on a weekday afternoon with only 1 other customer in store. I'd hate to see when it's busy, but I'd be surprised if it ever got busy with thit type of "customer service" read more

i was just browsing around and found this really cool item called "Force Fields-Toe box de-creasers." they're supposed to "protect your sneakers from creasing and wear...keep them looking brand new..." i posted a picture. they were like $10 a pair. im a sneakerhoar. so i almost bought 5 of these and almost spent $50. then i thought to myself "what if they don't work?" so i put the rest back and just bought one. i'm gonna use them on my dunks since some dunks crease so easily. but if they DO work, i might need over 50 of these!! its a pretty good idea. i wish someone thought of this years ago! if i like them, now i know where to buy them... read more

Mistakes happen.. So I bought some shoes for my son on Thursday night, Sunday night I open them and its 2 different colors, same design. I live about 30 miles away, we bought them in Friday when we were in the area. The prices are decent, good styles too. So on Sunday made the trip to go exchange it. I asked for a courtesy discount as we live 30 miles away..nothing big, just 10-15 % whatever to make me feel better for my drive and gas. The kid said "not our policy, cant do anything about it".. I was in a good mood so didn't make anything of it. I mean how much can I yell at a 16yr kid at a Summer Job. I dont know if I will be back at this store.. read more

I've been here a few times and so far my overall experience was okay.It definitely was not the best or the worst.They have a wide variety of shoes and sizes which is good.The customer service isn't as good though.Some staff are friendly while others are really rude and unhelpful.I wouldn't reccomend coming here if you want efficient and friendly service though.. read more
