SO glad I finally made it here!
I have seen their goodies sold at markets and at Celebrate local, but held off to see what it is all about and I prefer to buy directly.
The hours are a bit wacky, thursday till sunday 12-4pm
Now I know why, the train and employ individuals with autism and I'm assuming school aged.
They support a local cause and the money is donated, which just gives you a good feeling!
It is in a regular house where you go in the driveway and park in the back, kind of odd but they have a sign and it said open so we went!
I have tried several gluten free bakerys and liked them more or less...
This is definetly my new winner!
Not being a fan of pattycake and even the others all taste a bit...off, Food for Good Thought has the MOST AMAZING treats I have had!
I admit to being a bit skeptical at first and caould kick myself in the butt for only getting the cranberry oatmeal cookie and the pecan pie.
Oh well, I have a feeling I will be back soon to make up for it!
The oatmeal cookie I figured to be a safe bet and not really needing much else but oats and BOY was it yummy!
Best oatmeal cookie ever and the cranberry a juicy addition!
The pecan pie also YUMMMMMY!
The crust reminded me of a linzer torte crust from back in Germany which is made out of ground hazelnuts and no flour, this was very similar, very different from your run of the mill pie crust which I am not a fan of anyways.
The pecan, nice and crunchy, sugary, delicious!
Support a great cause and stop by here on the weekend, you will not be disspointed!
The prices are also way better than at pattycake! read more
