Wow, what an amazing experience! I started my Birthday weekend solo. On Yelp suggestion, I decided…read moreto have dinner at Laguna Grill. I was immediately greeted by very helpful wait staff who offered a short wait for a table or immediate seating at the bar. I will always choose bar when dining solo. It's such a great way to interact!!! I got the house margarita and it was easily one of the best house mixes I've ever ordered! The chips and salsa were amazing as you could tell they were both made from scratch!! For dinner I had the Chipotle Shrimp Relleno...so good!!! 10 outta 10 bomb! Then I ordered a shot of "the good stuff" I offered the wait staff to join me but they very politely declined:( The experience was so fantastic that I returned two nights later with my spouse. That meal consisted of the Tamarind (real fruit) margarita, passion fruit vodka something or other, 2 shrimp tacos and a chicken (+ shrimp) burrito. We were both incredibly happy with our dinner. I shall return at some later date and stay until closing so that I can kick it with the most beautiful staff!!!

I don't think I was fully prepared for what was about to happen when I sat down at this Mexican…read morerestaurant, because what started as a normal meal quickly turned into something borderline spiritual. Everything was going great--the atmosphere, the service, all of it--but then the chips and salsa arrived. At first, it seemed standard: warm, crispy chips and a fresh-looking salsa. But the moment I took a bite, it genuinely felt like my entire sense of taste reset. The salsa had this perfect balance of heat, acidity, and freshness that was almost unreal. It wasn't just good--it was the kind of flavor that makes you stop mid-conversation and just process what just happened. And I'm not exaggerating when I say that after a few more bites, I fully transcended. Time stopped meaning anything. The noise of the restaurant faded out. It felt like I had a direct, life-changing encounter with something greater than myself... all through a bowl of salsa. I just sat there in silence, staring at the table, trying to comprehend how something so simple could taste that incredible. Apparently, I was gone for a while. Long enough that the staff started to get concerned. Next thing I know, I'm being gently brought back to reality by one of the servers asking if I was okay. I tried to explain what I had just experienced, but I don't think "I just met God through your salsa" is something they hear every day. At that point, I may have still been a little too overwhelmed to function like a normal person, because the staff actually ended up helping me out the door. Not in a bad way--they were super kind about it--but I think they could tell I was still processing whatever just happened. Even now, I'm not entirely sure how to explain it, but I do know one thing: that was not just a meal. That was an experience. And if you go, just be warned--the chips and salsa might change you.

The drinks were very strong even the skinny margarita packs a punch, so just a heads up if you prefer something lighter. The guacamole was amazing and definitely a must order. We also tried the trio plate which was pretty good. Loved the location easy to get to and the service was pretty spot on from start to finish. Parking was plentiful off the street, and the restaurant itself is very large and spacious. I'd definitely come back again.

What a great restaurant! Excellent food, impeccable service!…read more First, the service: the hostess greeted us at the door, and immediately took us to our table. Our server, Catherine, was asking for our drink orders moments after we'd taken our seats. And the abundant chips and salsa were at our table moments later. We ordered our food and it came promptly. In short, we felt the staff made sure we were taken care of, this despite the fact that the restaurant was hopping busy. What a great way to run a restaurant! Second, the food: it was excellent. We were all hungry, and each of us polished off our plates, despite generous portions. Catherine asked if we wanted boxes at the end of our meals, which set us all off laughing, since there was nary a scrap left! There were a variety of dietary restrictions, mostly gluten-free or vegetarian, and they happily accommodated. I really had a hankering for chicken tacos, which the server said they'd happily make for me, even though they weren't on the menu. And they were delicious, with a healthy portion of juicy and savory meat, loaded into homemade soft corn tortillas, which I loaded with healthy portions of their house-made salsa. So yummy! Others ordered their Tacos de Camaron (off their ample seafood menu), spinach enchiladas, vegetarian chimichangas (my girlfriend loved them), and Tacos Dorados. Plates were nearly clean when we were done, which speaks to how good the food was. I'm not sure when I'll next be in Chelan, but I can guarantee this will be my go-to when I am!

We waited in line for about 15 minutes before one of the workers let everyone know that one person should order while the other secures a table. I came with my mom and my boyfriend, so we made sure we all communicated what we wanted before I had my mom find us a table. Luckily, she was able to grab an outdoor seat with an amazing view of the blueberry farm. We waited about 10 minutes for our food to arrive. It was a little strange getting our pies before our breakfast, but it was fine since the breakfast came about 10 minutes later. We really enjoyed the breakfast, it was delicious, but it was definitely on the heavier side. Between the gravy and everything else, we were feeling a serious food coma afterward. The desserts were interesting. We enjoyed the blueberry pie, but the texture of the banana cream pie was a little off for us. It almost felt like whipped butter. The blueberry juice was delicious! We would've bought some to take home, but the line was way too long and we didn't feel like waiting again. Overall, the food was good, but the process of finding a table and ordering seemed confusing for a lot of people behind us. I would totally come back again. I'd love to try blueberry picking next time! When we visited, it was $3.50 per pound.

My family has been coming here for almost 20 years and we will certainly never step foot in this…read moreestablishment again. First of all, it's an extremely chaotic dining experience. Wait in a ridiculous line and pray you can even find a table. If you do manage to find a table, expect to be bumped, a lot. It's so incredibly cramped that you feel like you're being held hostage. The food is not worth the wait. It's incredibly mediocre, even by way of breakfast food which is incredibly difficult to mess up. Stale coffee, canned drinks, just nothing really special about the food in any way, shape, or form. The views are great. That's all I have to say in terms of the positive. Overall, this is not a place I will be giving my business to again, nor will any of my family, who are all Chelan County locals. We're not the only locals to avoid this place, either. The egregious waits and bland food we could deal with, but the business's online conduct and the way they choose to represent themselves have made this an absolute no-go.
