We hired Taqueria Mazatlan's food truck for a party we hosted up lake, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Roberto was fantastic to work with, with great communication from start to finish. The tacos and quesadillas were the star of the night. The beef, pork, and chicken were all incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. Everyone at the party was raving about the food and many went back for seconds (and thirds). I highly recommend them, whether you're visiting their permanent downtown location or booking their second truck for an event. You're in for a treat. read more

Stopped by to grab quick dinner here. I got the carne asada and the spicy pork tacos. Both were really good. I didn't know you had to specifically ask for grilled onions and jalapeños and thought they were the default but the lady was kind enough to quickly griddle some up for me in a minute so I could still have them with my tacos. The grilled jalapeño is a game changer as is the spicy salsa roja. My wife got the veggie burrito plate; it was okayish, not a lot of veggies, just mostly rice and beans and shredded lettuce both inside and outside the burrito. Delicious food ! A family of four we spent $32ish for a taco plate with jalapeño and grilled onions and three burrito plates. We all really enjoyed our meals although the rice was super salty it was a great meal our first time while staying in Chelan. The red salsa was super hot but the verde was perfect. My daughter and I picked up our second dinner from this food truck on our yearly Lake Chelan vacation. Our first meal was on our arrival nite, nobody wanted to cook so she and I went for the taco plate with lengua as our choice of protein. Now a couple of years ago I would not have eaten beef tongue but when it's cooked like they do at this truck I can't stop ordering it. I don't have any pictures from our first meal we both demolished our orders before I thought to take a picture but we went back again and the pictures are from that order. The truck has been at this location for a long time you can tell but the food they serve has been delicious. They have outside dining if you like or you can take back home. The food was prepared quickly and last nite the cook came over to the oder window to make sure everything was correct there's a little bit of a language barrier for me but it was appreciated since we both tried other items on the menu. My daughter Sam chose the taco plate again but also went with a torta, I ordered the Mazatlan combo with pork as my protein for that and a molita with lengua for it also I had heard about the grilled onions and jalapeños being good so I had to try them. Other reviewers mention the hot sauces, the red is a firecracker going off in your mouth while the green is a lot tamer but still good. All of the food was not greasy, the portions are generous. If you're wanting a authentic Hispanic food truck meal you can't go wrong here I think you'll enjoy your meal like we did! read more

Initially reviewed on their taco truck #4 but also posting here for more visibility and awareness because of how rudely and immaturely they are handling the situation: Overcharged me and made me pay $20 for a 4 taco plate. 4 small, street tacos, just tortilla, meat, and salsa. I thought it might have been upcharging for a private party so I went ahead and paid. However after paying, I learned my friends paid $12 for their plate. I got 2 lengua tacos which are an extra $1 each, so I should only have been charged $14. I've been to dozens of Mexican restaurants, and never have I been charged $5 per taco. Maybe close to $5 at a fancy restaurant, but definitely nowhere close to $5 for a small, simple street taco from a taco truck. I messaged them and they denied it saying that was the pricing, but it's obvious the math doesn't add up. Not only did the owner deny it, he called me "crying" over $20. Extremely rude about the whole situation. Never have I come across a business that has tried to deny overcharging a customer when there's obvious proof of it. They already have a review for fraudulent activity. I highly recommend staying away from this business unless you want to be fraudulently charged. read more

When you are in Manson stop in and experience delicious food. Tacos tortas sopapillas quesadillas. The Verde Salsa is delicious if you need heat the rojo has it covered. In the summer the Al fresco dining with the sweeping views is great. I've seriously eaten every thing on the menu and it's all good. Now comes the serious part. Tacos were flavorful although very oily. We tried the birria, adobada, barbacoa, carne asada. This is our 2nd favorite on flavor after the La Rocca taco truck by Le Schwab. They have more taco options overall. Our kiddo got the cheese quesadilla and those tortillas felt a bit stale. We decided to try it out and we were very pleased! Everything was delicious. He ordered 4 tacos de barbaqoa (BBQ) with side of grilled onions and jalapeños. I got the sopea de barbaqoa and a side of rice and beans. The sope itself was not hard, as happens when alot of places over fry. The meat was cooked perfectly & not dry. I know, I know: when we are on an away mission, Starfleet expects us to eat the local cuisine. And the whole crew has done its best, I swear. We even sought out this taco truck because it sounded like the most authentic Mexican food in Chelan, so it gave us a way of sampling another type of food while still following the itinerary Starfleet mapped out for us. But here's the thing: it was maybe TOO authentic for us. Perhaps we spent too long in Canada before starting our mission in the United States, but we just aren't used to eating such greasy food.
